Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and Comfy The room was clean and comfortable. However, the atrium rooms are old and the heating/ cooling took forever to get to temperature. It was either too hot or too cold. Also--the water pressure was a trickle--literally. I mean that--not an exaggeration. The hot water was tepid and I had to run it for a really long period of time to even get it to that. Those are 2 relatively small things in an otherwise great hotel. The staff are friendly, rooms clean, and it is very convenient to downtown. I stay there whenever I go to Missoula for business. This is the first time I have stayed in an atrium room---so maybe it was just the room itself. In the past I don't recall heating or water issues. January 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Missoula Stay I arrived at this Holiday Inn after a very long 16 hour drive. The front desk staff was excellent at check in and were very welcoming and pleasant. Although there was a minor issue of TV noise in the adjoining room, the staff addressed the issue promptly and professionally. They followed up to make sure I was satisfied (which I was) and thanked me for bringing it to there attention. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom amenities could have been a little better but overall the room was excellent. For anyone wanting to be right downtown in Missoula, this is a great location. I would certainly stay at this hotel again if in the area. January 8, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not a good night for daughter and family I booked this room for my daughter and her family that had been visiting for the holidays. Since they had such an early flight out (we live 35 miles from Missoula) I decided to book the room. The last time we stayed there was for the same reason and it was not a pleasurable outcome. I thought I would give them one more chance and hope all had improved. The night was long with lots of noise in the hall until the wee hours of the morning which meant that my daughter and family got little to no sleep before getting up at 4 am to dress and get ready to leave on the shuttle. The staff, when I arrived to check them in, was very nice and helpful. They always are! My daughter also said the shuttle driver was wonderful! The lounge downstairs could use some work and the food is terrible but the beer is good! Don't think we will be staying there or booking for any more family members for quite a while. Sorry! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bad allergic reaction-not the hotel's fault The restaurant staff were wonderful but as I was trying to carry stuff out alone staff observed but didn't try to help. They knew my husband was in ER and I was itching myself for unknown reasons and eventually had to be treated also. I was offered help and brought coffee and OJ but I feel a bit more concern would have been nice. We love the hotel but it wasn't our best day. January 4, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nightmare! I have stayed at this property numerous times before, but never will again! I was put in a room with an adjoining room on BOTH sides. There is no noise insulation in adjoining room doors, so you may as well be all staying there together. I arrived in my room around 10:30 PM and was asleep soon thereafter. The first wake up was a phone call to one of the adjoining rooms, but it was not big deal as the call was short and I was able to fall back asleep. At 12:50 AM the drunk girls adjoining my room on the other side arrived and I heard every word until 3:45 AM. I called the front desk a minimum of 5 times. They offered for me to move. Really? Me? at 2 AM plus?? Why not them? The night manager had no impact on their noise. She did reduce my rate, but it did not make up for the miserable night I spent there. I will be very careful to never again have an adjoining room. I am sure all hotels know the problem with this, but seem to simplly ignore it. I go to Missoula frequently, but you lost me and I am unlikely to stay in any other Holiday Inn either. December 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Thanksgiving weekend in Missoula We had a nice experience at the Holiday Inn. Its location (on the river, downtown) was ideal for our purposes. It is a pet friendly hotel although they don't tell you there is a $20 surcharge until you are at the hotel. All in all it was a fine place to stay overnight. December 9, 2014
