I love staying at the Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown and have done so on numerous occasions. The beds are comfortable and the location can't be beat. My only complaint was the bathtub wasn't as clean as I have come to expect from this hotel. Overall, I had a great experience and I'll be back.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by IowaSoccer Comfortable and very clean
The rooms were very clean and inviting and the location was great. Overall I do not think the price was worth it. We have stayed in other nice, clean and comfortable hotels for less - but overall, if you do not have to budget money, it is a wonderful place to stay.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by OIST Good place for roaming around downtown
We stayed two nights at this hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the room we had was spacious. The hotel is located within walking distances of shopping and food places, which is good for those who do not want to eat at the hotel.
On the other hand, the room we stayed in, though clean and comfortable, is in need of renewal, as neither the door or the external window fit correctly in the frame.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Andrew F. Walking distance to downtown but late night reception annoying
We have stayed here in years past because of lovely outdoor scenery & easy walking access to river & downtown. As before, our non-smoking room smelled faintly of cigarettes upon entry. Biggest gripe though was unwelcome evening noise through glass balcony slider facing indoor atrium. Even with slider closed we were "treated" to late evening music from hosted party in hotel bar (accessed via atrium & sans door) during our first night & noise from wedding reception in conference room (also accessed via atrium & with doors closed!) that ended after midnight during our second night. On the positive side, however, we loved renting the funky single speed bikes, which the front desk allowed us to take out for a few hours without having to pay the full day rental rate. That said, next visit we plan to stay somewhere else downtown that does not cater to late night parties.

We were in town for a family reunion last week and stayed at another hotel along the river that was supposedly upscale. Not up to par. Came through again on our way home and wanted to try another hotel close to downtown. Holiday Inn is updated, rooms are well-kept and overall great experience. Centrally located elevators, plenty of parking, good looking rooms, great pillows. Inside the room, 2 small issues--the mirrored closet door was hard to open and the sink was slow draining.

Convenient location - walking distance to various places. Great hotel if you are visiting Missoula for the first time. The hotel has friendly staff and includes several amenities - indoor heated pool with jacuzzi, gym, free wifi and free parking.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by L901 Pleasant Conference Hotel in Missoula
- Gift shop with espresso
- On-site restaurant and bar
- Meeting rooms easily accommodated 100 people
- Excellent coffee during the meetings
- In-room breakfast options
- Easy walking distance to local attractions
- Transients are in and out of the bathrooms by the meeting rooms all day!!!! Perhaps a keypad could be placed outside the hotel to insure that only registered guests are using the bathrooms by the meeting rooms
- I did not like that my room looked out over the atrium and lacked an outside window. I prefer natural lighting
- Only one elevator location per floor; the walk to my room was longer than I would have liked
- The bar closes early and has to turn off the patio lights at designated quiet hours
