Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed The room was dated- the carpet and walls were dirty. The shelf in the shower was broken. Overall, it didn't feel "clean." The walls are also thin. I could hear the people's conversation in the room next to mine in the middle of the night. I assumed because of the events going on in town they jacked the price up- it was double the average price per night suggested on a third party website. Staff was nice/helpful. October 15, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Positive Experience Clean and well maintained hotel. Friendly and helpful staff in all areas. It was nice to have live music at the hotel every night. For more music and restaurants, the hotel has a free shuttle with a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful driver. I stay in a dozen or more hotels each year and this is one of the best. I hope staff are treated well because they are exceptional. October 13, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place, good location, clean rooms Place was great. Putting up with the weekend drunks is inevitable at any hotel. The only area I'd say needs to be addressed is the food concession in the lobby. My coffee was terrible and full of grounds, my bagel was worse than McDonalds and the prices were high. I understand the prices but there's no excuse for a high volume hotel to have less than fast food quality. October 13, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Home away from home I have been staying at this hotel since 2002 when I went to work for the State of Tennessee. Although DCS no longer has a direct billed account here I choose to stay here and get repaid later. It is like coming home everytime I come here. The staff at the front desk are always so friendly and helpful. I am excited about seeing updates to the hotel, especially for new mattresses and a newer AC system. The older units on the walls never stay cool during the night but I alwaysbring my fan with me. October 10, 2014
