Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel The holiday Inn is a lovely, comfortable hotel. Unfortunately, it is sited on a motorway service station so if you are hoping for a picturesque view you will be Very disappointed. It is, however, ideally situated for the centre of oxford and close to the universities if you are attending an open day or you are accompanying someone taking an interview there. August 23, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Expensive for what we got The standard rooms were certainly standard, no upgrades available when I asked on arrival. The pool was freezing cold. After requesting quiet rooms at night I discovered they weren't and had to put up with car noise from the outside of the reception area, the walls are very thin and could hear the people in the rooms next door and above talking and using the toilet late at night. Had three hours sleep. The good thing about this hotel is that kids eat free and the food was top quality. I will not be staying here again! August 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Conveniently sited The hotel is adjacent to one of the Park and Rides which made getting into town very easy. The hotel was the usual high standard for a Holiday Inn. The staff were friendly and efficient. The bar was a good place to have a night cap, although the drinks were a little on the pricy side. All in all, we had a good stay August 20, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable hotel but rough around the edges The staff let down this hotel. Customer care was poor, language difficulties prevailed. We had booked a twin room but were given a double. On reporting this, we were then given a twin but this had to be altered to executive status. Staff did not tell us anything about breakfast arrangements or the existence of bar meals. There were no obvious menus ih the room. On the plus side, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We would stay here again but hope customer care will improve. August 19, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Improperly Trained Staff Sadly people seem to be interfacing with the public without proper training. Inconsistency in pricing drinks and preparing drinks can be frustrating. For example a shandy with soda water is not nice. Paying a different price for the same drinks is not nice. Being disturbed when you have a do not disturb sign is on the door is not nice. Clearly pointing out to room cleaners that the room should be made the same every day, clearly no check list to ensure this happens. Bar staff who press different buttons every night means that on paper the same drinks that you drink every night, are not the same when you pay for them. All training issues. August 19, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by i expected better I was was very disappointed with the hotel, food when ordered room service was cold, my burger was red on the inside when I complained about it being under cooked the kitchen said I must of ordered it that way yet it doesn't give you the options of how well cooked you want the burger on the menu. The carpet I wouldn't walk around on barefoot as it wad covered in clumps of dust and other peoples hair. I left a bit of mud in the room and it was there the whole four days I was there unmoved. Very disappointed August 18, 2014
