Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Clean and comfortable beds and linens. I have stayed at the Holiday Inn in Plainview on several occasions in 2013 1nd 2014. The hotel is consistently clean and has a pleasant restaurant and bar. I am a single female and have always felt safe with parking and room security. A large sprawling layout so it can be a distance to your room. Getting several bags to the room was not ideal as a solo traveler. Looking forward to trying out the pool in warmer weather! The room was clean, modern and quiet and since the hotel is directly off the LIE, it's in a convenient location if traveling in Long Island. You get good value for your money! November 5, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great Service, Delicious Food This hotel exceeded my expectations and then some. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and very clean. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive to my needs. You can tell they certainly take pride in what they do. The food at the bar was great as was the staff. I particularly enjoyed the atmosphere of the bar/restaurant it was quiet and comfortable making it very relaxing. the breakfast buffet was very good, there was a large assortment of items from both hot and cold items. The hotel is located in a perfect location, with easy access off the highway. Will definitely stay here again. November 3, 2014

Max and Christine in the resturant and lounge entivce me to stay in and eat and drink with them instead of any of the local places. Catering staff of Leslie and Lisa are always very resposive to all our needs. I will be back and encourage anyone to check them out by checking in. October 30, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Disappointed stay.Guest services poor. Reservation made months in advance. My room was at the farthest point from lobby. First day the door from parking lot wouldn't open with room card(fixed later that day).Room didn't have sofa chair just a desk chair. Called guest services and requested one (saw every room I passed having one).I was told they would have staff get me one. I called back 2 hours later and was told they had no record of me calling for a sofa chair! I was told the chairs were randomly assigned and since they were 100% booked , I was out of luck. Food and service was poor in the breakfast and lunch dining area. I was served an ice tea without ICE! Saturday breakfast our group (7) waited 15 minutes without menus. We stopped a server to say how long we were waiting and were told "we're very busy". We left! I will avoid Holiday Inns in the future. October 21, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel was nice, staff wasn't I booked for 3 nights, but had to check out before the second night stay, du e to a family emegency. I had to pack, and head to LaGuardia for a flight home. I told M. at the front desk my dilemma when I got there at 4:45 PM. She said I could cancel and check out. When I brought my bags down, my bill showed she charged me for a second night. When I asked about this, she said she had no choice because housekeeping had gone home for the day. She went back to giving a guest directions. I understand rules are rules, but M. was very dismissive of me. Also, does housekeeping really go home that early? It was NOT a pleasant stay. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel on Long Island I cannot say enought about the hotel, it is very clean, the staff goes out of their way to serve you on whatever you may need. The location is great on Long Island, and not far from NYC. They just updated the rooms here and you will have a great stay at this hotel! Francisco, the front end Supervisor, makes sure you have anything and everything you need, "attention to detail" I recomend this hotel to all. A++ Platinum Member since 1989 October 15, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Decent value, but the view is terrible This hotel is a good value for the area, but the windows in all of the rooms face into the hallway instead of outside kind of a like a motel and it's extremely disorienting and dark in the morning because if you leave the curtains open to try to get natural light, anyone walking past can see into your room. Overall, everything else is fine, but I'd only recommend this hotel if you don't mind being in the dark all hours of the day. October 14, 2014
