Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Broken door and nasty pillows As IHG platinum customers we are usually very happy with the service and comfort of all the hotels in the group. But this was an exception...noisy a/c unit, broken sliding glass door that seemed dangerous, and poor experience with "free sit down breakfast".. it was not free unless one only ate from the cold section. So we were charged for the eggs and bacon that were mediocre at best. Restaurant personnel did not speak English. The front desk staff was very nice, spoke English and were knowledgable about the surrounding areas. January 1, 2014

It turned out to be quite different than some of the reviews I had read. Rooms were nice and clean, hot water, comfortable beds and pillows Staff was very courteous and helpful. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor service, air conditioner shut down a few times My stay at this hotel was ok. The rooms are nice but the service stinks. Hotel staff are too busy talking in the hallway & not busy enough cleaning the rooms. As for my bathroom it was disgusting. I had to run to walmart & get Clorox disinfecting spray. My son lifted the toilet seat & of course evidence of improper cleaning it had fecal matter all over it.This was as soon as we got into our room . As for the toilet tissue they were giving us one at a time...better off bringing your own Lol!!! The air conditioning was another issue, in the middle of the night it would shut down for no reason. Told front desk about it & someone came right away . November 3, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Room Quality Not Holiday Inn standard we expect Room - musty smelling, A/C not working right, everything damp no matter how low you set A/C unit. Bed very hard, not typical Holiday Inn standard comfort. Restaurant - did not inform us in advance what was included in Continental breakfast, only told us after we had eaten, at which point we had to pay for what we ate. Need to tell clients up front what to expect, not after the fact. October 27, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good room, bad service I would've rated this hotel higher had they not kept my deposit for so long. It's been four days and they have yet to return my deposit. I called them and explained the situation and no one ever got back to me. The hotel has beautiful views, it's very clean and my family enjoyed the pool. I just wish they would have returned my deposit sooner. October 2, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed, clean, plenty of parking This hotel is outside of the historic downtown area, but it takes only 15 minutes to drive there. The hotel was very clean, it was very easy to find parking in the free parking lot, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The pillows were really soft and the mattress was just the right softness. My friend and I always wanted to sleep in because the beds felt so great. September 25, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by MY EXPERIENCE 1- Pool- Dirty, with dead bugs, birds feces, brown bubbles at the corner. 2. Grass cutting - Should not be until after 11am for guests relaxation convinience. 3. Children tv channels - should work all the time like the other channels that the hotel offer. 4. Food delivery trucks - should have a delivery area that doesn't interfere with guests parking. I had an emergency once and the truck didn't move even though I asked nicely. 5. Carpets - look old and dirty. This hotel should receive an unannounce visit from upper managers. This used to be one of my favorites hotels, but it is not anymore. September 3, 2013

As a Gold member, we had an upgrade, but unfortunately to a room with view on the parking (instead of the sea) while the hotel did not seem to be fully booked. The breakfast was chaotic : we had to ask ourselves for coffee and missing orange juices. August 25, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Failure to resolve issue During my stay, the overall experience was average. The room was adequate, however during my second day I notice my phone would not properly dial. I notified the front desk in person on 4 occasions, which each time I was told it would be handled. The phone was never replaced, therefore I never was able to call for room service or other amenities during my stay. I was advised the phone line was having issues one time, but the issue was not with the line, as I had a dial tone and could receive calls, just the phone number key pad was sticking and not allowing calls out. The food during the stay was okay, but some very bland and tasteless. I hope that other experiences are different than mine. July 29, 2013

I travel all over the U.S and Puerto Rico 40 weeks out of the year, and by far I can't remember the last time that I had such awesome quality of service, from the Front Desk, Housekeeping, to the Managers, and it is very comforting when everyone greets you with a genuine smile. The Hotel sits on a small mountain overlooking the ocean and the tiny islands in the distance, and the view from the pool is magnificent. The bar area is very quaint and the casino is cozy. The hotel is just minutes from the commercial area on RT 2, but at the hotel you really feel like you are on a tropical island. April 24, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No hot water After staying in your facility for the fourth consecutive year and on the last two having the same problem I think is time for me to star staying somewhere else next year, I was taking a shower washing my hair when the water was turnoff I was left with having to step out of the shower after waiting for more then half hour for the water to come back and there was no sign of it, all I had was a bottle of drinking water in the refrigerator and I had to use that to remove the shampoo from my hair I had to get dress without taking a shower and go to check out and out to work. I asked the front desk personal to speak to a manager and I was told that they did not have any one that was able to help me. I am a platinum member and very dissatisfied with the outcome of my stay.
