The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were to big and soft. So, I used mine and then left it in the room. It took five days to find it but I'm in the process of getting it back.

I was very pleased with the cleanliness, newness, and service during my stay in Rock Hill. The breakfast buffet was very nice, a cut above your typical free hotel breakfast, yet it was free with coupons with my room deal. The room was quiet and comfortable. The bed was a bit firm for my liking, but I still slept well. I will definitely stay here again on any return trip to the area.

This appears to be a newer property. Or at least in my estimation. I cannot say enough about Holiday Inn. The quality and the comfort. I have been a member since 1987.
One thing though. The restaurant on the property was very high. I found that I could go out and get more food at a far better price, I went to a steakhouse instead.
For breakfast a breakfast bar was around $13.00. Too high^. You can go to a buffet for far less than this. If you wanted to order just a regular breakfast from the menu it too was over the top. Sorry but I went out and got more food for less money.
Yes the convenience of eating at the hotel is one of the attractions via or verses going out into town. But for me I do look at prices and the prices that were at the restaurant at this property turned me away quickly.

I would not recommend this hotel,due to the rude and un-helpful front desk staff at night.The rooms were not clean and the carpets in the hall looked very disgusting.very expensive rates for such poor services. It was very uncomfortable to sleep, you could hear through the walls. I would recommend the Holiday Inn EXPRESS; but not the regular Holiday Inn...

We have stayed at this hotel before. We stay here every time we visit our son. However, I do believe we will be back! We were given such poor information and assistance. We have tried to call the manager for 2 days and have not been able to reach him.
We booked the room for 2 nights (Nov. 27 & 28). When we found out that we could only stay one night (Nov. 27). I called the hotel to cancel one night and was told that would be ok. When we arrived on Wednesday, November 27th, I again explained that we would only be staying one night. One of the hotel clerks asked the other what to do and was told that when we check out, the cancelled night would be credited. The next day when we checked out we were told that the cancelled night was nonrefundable ( a different hotel clerk). We explained that we would told the night would be credited. She said she could not do it and that we needed to speak to the manager who was not there. We returned home and have not been able to speak to the manager.

This location is easy to find right off the Interstate. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is very friendly. There is also plenty of shopping and places to eat surrounding the hotel.

I work from my PA home for a firm located in Rock Hill so I am in and out of this hotel, as well as other HI's from Maine to Alabama, and this is my favorite HI without a doubt. The staff from reception to Aubrey in the lounge set a standard from which to judge all others. They really take care of the business travellers with a nice hospitality session in the lounge during the week and when I do stay in and eat, I am never disappointed. For those of you that travel for work, you know how important it is for a hotel to be a nice place to kick back at the end of a stressful day. If your looking for a downtown city type of hotel hopping with action and noise, this isnt it. This place is peaceful being located at the end of a dead end road behind a retail area. If your lucky, you will catch the talented guitar player/vocalist that is in the lounge from time to time. His gift of music is a bonus on top of the already indulgent experience. All I can say is to the management is keep up the great work and please dont change a thing. If you want a relaxing hotel, this is your place.

this hotel was okay. the room was typical nothing too fancy or roomy but okay. the hotel was clean. the breakfast in the morning was okay. would have like to seen more staff because the food kept running out because the hotel was full. I never got coffee or greeted by servers and they never asked what we wanted to drink or cleared our table. We had to flag them down to request things.

3 out of the 5 days i was there the internet did not work. i called the lobby and they told me it was my fault. they gave me the number for tech support, and tech support said it was the hotel. i know for sure it was the hotel and not my devices becuase all of my co-workers had the same issues. then the staff acted like i was the only person in the hotel complaining. so unprofessional.

On arriving at this location and entering the building, I was impressed by the decor in the lubby, but it was even more impressive when I got to the room. The contemporary style furnitures and layout of the room was just relaxing. The place smelled good and looked wonderful.....kudos. I will truly recommend anyone of my coworkers, friends, or family member to stay at this hotel when in that area.

The hotel was great--up to Holiday Inn Express standards but we did have a problem with the small, hard, square pillows. They would probably be fine for a back sleeper (if you didn't feel like you would fall off) but for me, as a side-sleeper--I didn't have a good night sleep and woke up with a very stiff neck.

I stay at Holiday Inn's about 1,000 nights so far at properties all over. This hotel was awesome. I will stay here when ever my job takes me within 30 miles of it.

Beautiful facility, comfortable and spacious rooms...the only "negative" was that it did not have the usual free Holiday Inn Express breakfast. It had a restaurant which did serve the usual excellent variety of HIEx breakfast foods, but you had to pay for it. ..nice place, tho', would highly recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful time. Everything was what we expected from Holiday Inn. We especially enjoyed our breakfast. The food was delicious and the servers were extremely accommodating and courteous.

The hotel is a sparkling gem, squeaky clean inside and out. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful in every way. They are very friendly, respectful, and courteous. The rooms are nice and comfortable, and spotless. I recommend to all who are considering staying in the Rock Hill SC area to consider this their place to stay.

This was a great place to spend the night after a long day of driving.
The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice. This hotel is on a great exit that has everything you might need while traveling.

The hotel is new and very pretty. The room was nice but smaller than expected for a suite. The pillows are terrible. The worst part was, they could never get the reservations right and cancelled our room that we had booked for 3 months and would not rebook it until we acted out of character and the mother of the bride called them! Very stressful. The only reason I would recommend them is I think they are new and will hopefully adapt to the demand over time.

We checked in after 10:00 PM, and the front desk gentleman was friendly and had everything waiting for us. Room cards, breakfast cards, Internet access, etc.
We needed to find a fabric shop - but there was no local phone book in our room. The gent working the desk was helpful in getting us three names of shops, as well as their phone numbers.
Breakfast the next morning was superb - as much as a buffet breakfast can be superb. The young man overseeing operations in the restaurant was very attentive, as well as helpful.
Everything was exceptionally clean - and the stool in the bathroom has an ingenious seat/lid combination that actually slowly returns to its "resting" position on the bowl. Noiseless and Clever!
Our only "demerit" would be: the room was wonderful, however the desk was positioned so that the chair had to be moved in order to negotiate between the desk and the beds. Not an insurmountable challenge - but one that stands out.
When we were ready to leave on the morning of June 19th - the two young ladies at the front desk were helpful, once again, in getting us local information.
Would we stay here again? Absolutely.
