The only thing that I can complain about is the lighting in the bathroom. It wasn't very good. I felt that I could not see well enough to apply my make-up. May 2, 2015

Next to Old Sacramento which means access to shops, museums, river boat, and restaurants, allegedly safe. Great place to take a morning run or walk by the river and in Old Town. Very clean, nice staff. Hotel within 5-10 minute walk to AMTRAK. May 1, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by High Value, Convenient location The hotel is convenient to Old Town, clean and well maintained. The meeting rooms were appropriate and the staff was attentive. My room was clean and contemporary. I prefer a softer mattress but was able to sleep without difficulty May 1, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel shop attendant went over and above After attending meetings for several days, the battery in my key was dead so I was unable to get into my vehicle without the alarm going off. The gentleman at hotel gift shop did not carry the specialized battery but directed me to a location several blocks away. Seeing me standing outside waiting for AAA, he brought his own personal key and offered me the battery from it if it would help. This unselfish gesture to assist a guest was a true reflection of his values and a credit to the hotel for a quality partnership that exemplifies their mission. Be sure and stop by the shop and say hi to him and buy something! April 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Caring Staff I am allergic to dairy so my group did not order me any special meal at lunch. It was either Valerie or Vivian who was helping in our room with lunch catering. She came up to me as I sat with no food in front of me. She went out of her way to try and get me something.. and came back with a couple of items I could eat. I don't like going to restaurants because they seem like it is a hassle when I quiz them about ingredients in food so you can imagine how shocked and overjoyed I was with Valerie/Vivian's care and concern. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy, and poor quality bedding One pro -- Hotel is located next to a Macy's store -- nice for evening shopping after sitting in meeting rooms all day. However, there are homeless, and/or gang looking, people wandering around everywhere outside the hotel. The conferece food was good, delicious actually -- healthy choices, flavorful, and hearty portions. Guest room service was terrible -- although staff was friendly, they messed up two separate orders, and the food was cold -- very disappointed in room service quality of food.. The front counter staff need more customer service training. After standing in line to check-out for almost 10 minutes, I observed a customer service rep assist one of the airline crew members, a flight attendant, ahead of me - literally took her out of the line to help in front of other guests, including me. This practice is unacceptable. I am also a paying guest. The bedding was uncomfortable -- mattress needs replaced badly. If it were not for the conference taking place in this hotel, I would never stay here again. April 28, 2015
