Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by First visit - great experience I stayed here because of a weekend conference held at the hotel. My overall impression - excellent choice on the part of the sponsoring organization! The building is inviting and perfectly maintained. The holiday decorations were tasteful and not overdone. The conference center restrooms were spotless and pleasantly scented. My check-in and check out were speedy. I was given a choice of perks because of my Priority Club membership. Throughout my two days here, the hotel and conference center staff were helpful and friendly. My room was impeccable and the bed was comfortable. I had a choice of firm and soft pillows - I used a mix. The room was cool when I entered but warmed to my comfort range quickly. We had post conference cocktails and snacks at the Amber Grill. The cocktails were well made and we got to watch the Wisconsin Badgers humiliate Nebraska on the big screens around the bar. Our waitress was fantastic and made sure everyone's cocktails were fresh. The sweet potato fries were awesome. The chicken wings were a tad dry but okay and came with five different sauces. I didn't get to try the continental breakfast as the conference provided a buffet, but it looked very good. Our catered buffet was very tasty with perfectly crisp Apple wood-smoked bacon and cheesy scrambled eggs. If I return for to Stevens Point in the future, this Holiday Inn will be my first choice for an overnight stay. Kudos to everyone for a wonderful stay. December 8, 2012

Stayed in a family suite with the bunk beds which were great for the the kids. Booked/stayed on points, points were 10,000 more than the HI Express next door which is strange because Holiday Inn would've actually been cheaper had I paid cash. November 28, 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Frequent visitor to Stevens Point I come almost one a month. Beds are comfy and room clean. Quieter than the Express but no breakfast served. Food is still a work in progress and the bar is upgrading their selection. Pool is quiet during the week but during the weekend there are lots of kids since it's also a small water park. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A beautiful hotel for a great price! My husband and I stayed for two wonderful nights at this beautiful and relaxing hotel. Leaving 5 teenagers and two stressful jobs for those few days provided both of us a much needed break. Being able to relax and get such great service is something we count on. Money is tight and people need to get as much value for the amount spent. This hotel is definitely worth it. The room was so big and comfortable, had many of the extras (like a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and blow dryer) and had extra services available to us that helped make our stay so nice. The restaurant for the hotel has fine dining at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is very intimate inside but there is a bar and dining outside that has a party atmosphere (weather permitting.) If you just want to stay in and have room service, the food is fantastic. There are also many fast food and other kinds of restaurants right on the main drag in front of the hotel. Many deliver right to your room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I was at a conference and the facilities were really nice (no freezing cold conference rooms!) and everything was in walking distance. But my husband and I could still relax at the end of the day and enjoy quiet time together. If we wanted to bring our family, there was plenty of room with a king size bed and a fold out couch. Larger rooms are also available. The pool with a slide, a hot tub and a workout area are nice additions as well. Holiday Inn has always meant quality service and reliability. The Stevens Point Holiday Inn goes above and beyond to create an experience well worth your money. October 28, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good quality but poor value As a frequent traveler throughout N. America and Europe, I found this Holiday Inn very comfortable and staffed by pleasant people. The lack of any discounts for frequent travelers, priority club members or AAA/AARP members put an edge on an otherwise pleasant stay. If you want to spend top dollar for a hotel in central Wisconsin, then this is the place for you. October 28, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Turn off the music in the hallways We used this establishment to reserve a block of rooms for our wedding. Most staff were very pleasant but our guests did have some difficult making reservations that were within the block (on Saturday) to match up with their outside the block (Friday) reservations. We woke up Sunday morning thinking that another hotel desk was playing a keyboard in a nearby room, only to realize that music was playing in the hallways throughout the hotel and the speaker was right outside our room. Not sure if this was purposeful as a way to get guests out of the hotel before check-out time or meant to provide ambiance in the hallways. October 26, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Place to Stay We rented three rooms here for our family and friends to celebrate my sons birthday in October. We had a suite, which was basically two rooms, one bedroom and the other a sitting room with a mini-kitchen and television. This was great for hanging out in. The other two rooms were both your basic double beds. We spend most of our time here enjoying the pool area. The kids (ages 7-13) loved the basketball hoops in the pool area. The guards watched all guest to make sure they were all safe and having a great time. We also had breakfast at the Amber Grill. Our party of 13 didn't have to wait long to be seated. We made full use of the free kids meals that came with the rooms. We had a great waitress, regretfully I do not recall her name- but she was friendly and fast and wasn't at flustered with our big party that included 9 kids. The staff at the desk was friendly and helped with any questions or concerns we had. This is a modern hotel and very comfortable. The dining selection and food served at the Amber Grill is also very good. If you like cheese curds, the ones here are fantastic. October 26, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Flex Pricing While making my reservation for two separate nights stay, I was given two separate prices dependent on how busy the hotel was that evening. Being a priority member and loyal customer, I can hardly believe that you wouldn't give me the lowest rate for both nights given this was the same stay. Business travelers shouldn't be penalized. It's almost getting to be how much can I afford since you are busy. I can hardly help that a "State" association elected to have their stay and meetings that same day/night I elected, and I should be penalized because you still had rooms available? Doesn't make any sense. Makes me wonder what the last two available rooms would cost. Flex pricing isn't what I call customer relations or acting like the 2 for 1 drink coupon is a big deal, when I am paying extra for one of the nights by a difference of $25.00 dollars. How does it become my problem, with an upcharge, dependent on how busy you are? I would think you would welcome my stay with the best price you can give to a priority club member who first elects to stay at the H.I in the first place. I can only now feel that I was penalized for my loyalty. Please don't reply with some explanation about availabilty. Flex rates are wrong and I have been wronged and should have been treated with some parity. Now, I have to explaine to my company why I was upcharged for my first night stay. October 24, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice Hotel My family of 4 stayed for the weekend at this hotel and really enjoyed ourselves. Splash Point was a lot of fun for our kids (7 & 3). The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. The hotel was very nice, well kept and extremely clean. Our kids really enjoyed the Kids Suite with the bunk beds. Would definately stay again!
