It´s far from the downtown, it was difficult to find and we couldn´t get to the parking lot.

I have stayed in 6-8 IHG hotels and this hotel is by far the worst of them. Hotel is built next to railway track so there was train noise whole night. Rooms are not sound proof so you could easily hear tv noise from other rooms so I couldn't sleep properly. Breakfast was OK

Very well located hotel!!!
When I 1st read about this hotel i though the location was too good to be true but it is indeed only 10 minutes from Shipol and 5 minutes to Amsterdam central. The no 12 tram is also right outside the hotel offering another option along with the bus no 48 (if memory serves me right).
New hotel, fresh, modern and clean! Breakfast was included in the price so could not have asked for more. Staff were always friendly and willing to help.
The Bar tender on shift (26/10 sorry dint catch his name) was excellent!
All in all this hotel is ideally located and ticks all the boxes for me!!

I spent three nights at this hotel and I was very satisfied. Great shower, very comfortable bed, modern but not cold style. Only some problems with wifi connection. Rates not so low but good value for money. Not so central located but 7 minutes by train to Amsterdam Central station.

Afte staying at least 10 times at this location since the opening, it is always good to get a smile at the reception; recognition of status (free drink) the best available room and a nice breakfast.
As I mentioned before; this is a good location; 15 minutes from the airport or City Center with frequent trains (you can see them out of the window.
Good value!!

Stayed for one night, March 2013.
Yes it is a great location - 10 minutes on the train from the airport with regular connections for a couple of Euros. Getting into Amsterdam city centre is also very easy - 5 minutes to central station.
I was there attending a conference at RIA - the Metro got me there in 10-15 minutes.
Hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. Good for business (which is why I was there) or pleasure (aready planning a return visit).
Only down side was finding the entrance! It is easy to spot the hotel as you arrive from the airport, but I went to the left of the building & ended up doing a full loop - so go to the right side & you will be OK. You need to take the lift up to rception, but once you are aware of these quirks things are fine.

This hotel is great for a short trip to Amsterdam. It is well-located - 5 min train-ride to the city center, well maintained and has very friendly staff members.
We'll be back any time we are in Amsterdam.

the room had a special smell . which was due to the not clean bed...so i asked them to change all the sheets and it was done , the room was kind of cold ,though i tried to heat it up ..was not really warm ... there was no soap in the bath and breakfast was kind of nothing actually...it is easy to get to the hotel via tram from airport and train station but it is in a industrial area so you may find nothing close to it.

Being right at the train station is great, short trip to Amsterdam Central station. The hotel also was very close to the to main highway and took less than 15 minutes to get to the airport. There is only 1 restaurant next door so the food choices are limited.

This hotel is next to a train station. Took the train back to the airport for less than $5.00 versus paying $40.00 for a taxi. The train ride takes 10 minutes, while the taxi ride takes over 20 minutes. The staff is very helpful and the morning breakfast is cool. The room itself is very comfortable. They offer free coffee and tea, but you need to borrow an iron from the receptionist if your clothes are wrinkled. For about $2.50, you can go by train to the Central Station (one station away) and enjoy Amsterdam. If hungry, they offer a variety of foods at the train station. On my first day in Amsterdam stayed in this hotel. Left my heavy suitcase at the hotel, stayed with friends for two days, then came back to the hotel and went home the following morning. The receitpionist was so helpful.

Das Hotel ist ziemlich neu, die Zimmer entsprechend modern und groß. Für Amsterdamer Verhältnisse geradezu riesig.
Der Bahnhof Sloterdijk ist gerade einmal 50 Meter entfernt, die Züge ins Stadtzentrum fahren alle 3 Minuten.
Wifi war wie man voraussetzen darf gratis, der Fernseher neu und flach.
Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Hotel is very well connected to the city. We had a good time and enjoyed complementary breakfast.
Only con was that our room was next to bus stop so there was some noise at night time.

Excellent all round, value for money, free covered parking underneath; good quality room and bathroom; still looks new. great location for train to Centraal Station, which is the next stop. No need to stay in pricey hotels in the middle of Amsterdam

Excellent place to stay if you want to visit Amsterdam and even many other places. The train station is just 2 min walk. Even in these conditions you will have a good night sleep with no disturption. Very nice staff and good breakfast!

I was so pleased with my decision to stay here. Not only was the location superb, being one train stop from Central Station and two stops from the airport, (15 min. max each way) but the staff was exceptionally warm, helpful and professional. Both Ricardo and Jill were very helpful and welcomed me at the front desk. They went out of their way to make me feel special and they remembered me each time I came by. The rooms were clean and quiet. The beds were firm & comfortable. BREAKFAST was exceptional and free for guests. There was an assortment of healthy tasty choices. They also gave me a part for my electrical converter to use during my stay which helped me use my USA electrical plugs. The internet was easily available downstairs and it was free for guests! The lobby was low-key and professional. Nice tables, couches and televisions for lounging. This hotel is a 2 minute walk to the train station so it made commuting around Amsterdam very easy. One problem, the trains do not run to the Sloterdijk Station after 2AM so you must go to the airport and take the bus to Sloterdijk Station if you are traveling in the wee hours of the morning. This was my first vacation to Amsterdam so I am very grateful to have found the perfect place to stay. (If you are planning to arrive late in the evening, confirm with the hotel about your plans so you room is not taken by another arrival. It is a popular hotel)
