They young man was standing away from the desk and immediately called by by name without the assistance of a computer screen or other external help. February 8, 2016

The smoke detector battery was old and the smoke detector was beeping. when I informed the front desk it was handled quickly. Thanks for a great stay. February 8, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Beatles stink bugs in the room I was super tired from a long work day and immediately put on pjs and got in the bed. As I was dosing off around now I started to hear buzzing. I got up from the bed and noticed a Beatle like bug on the top of the wall. My first Instinct was to kill the bug but then buzzing started on the other wall then the other wall then another wall at that time I totally freaked out calls the front desk and packed up my clothes. I was moved to another room but was hard for me to go to go to sleep because of the Beatle scare. February 7, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable room, but check in staff was rude and unpleasant I have stayed here many times over the las year while visiting family. I usually have great customer service, but this check in was not so great. Michelle was the one who checked me in. She was very unpleasant to deal with. She made me feel very uncomfortable. My dad pays for the room with his credit card and always has since the first time I have stayed there. He came in with the first check in and signed paperwork saying I can use his card for the room. Every time I stay at this property I use the same card. I have never had a problem if he does not come with me. This particular time I was made to feel like a criminal at check in since it was late and I gave her my license and the same card I always use. She said I was not able to check in due to the names not matching. I explained it is my dads card and he is in Belton with my aunt. She said are you on the account? I explained the situation about him being in Belton and I would call him she said well I need something with a last name that matches. I said all I have is my social security card. She said that will work so I gave her that and she photo copied it with my license and dads credit card. I asked why she was doing that and she said it was Policy in case we fight the charge. She said I would have to bring my dad by to sign a paper given me permission to use his card. She then began to tell me she sees her employees are not doing there job by letting me use the same card I always do. She said I am the assistant manager and I will have a talk with my employees about not doing there job correctly. I have checked in with several people over the past year including the owners son who I didn't have an issue with if my dad was not with me since it was the same card. When I said this to her she said well he wasn't doing his job correctly either. Guess I am the only one who is. She then had to ask me if I was a member and I said yes ma'am. She said do you know your status I said I am an elite member. Anytime I have checked in the person on duty says thank you for being an elite member or a member this is how many points you have. When I brought my dad the next day I explained everything to David who has awesome customer service skills and I have dealt with on several occasions. I explained everything to him and he apologized for her actions. I told him due to her I will probably not stay at this hotel again. He said please don't do that, you are a valued customer. If I have to deal with her again I definitely will not be back. Other than that my stay was good. January 20, 2016
