Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Friendly Staff, Covenient Hotel, Great Shuttle Service Stayed at this hotel twice during a 10 day span due to flights into and out of Atlanta. All staff members were very friendly and welcoming, from the shuttle drivers to the front desk staff and the breakfast crew. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and offered a nice warm breakfast. Staff even went out of their way to give us packed "to go" bags from breakfast so that we could eat on the shuttle back to the airport. Will definitely stay at this property the next time that we are in Atlanta! April 14, 2013

In making pre-travel arrangements for my church to attend an installation service in the area I contacted the Director of Sales. She was more than professional, she was extremetly helpful and I sincerely hope that all of your sales directors are as helpful as she was to me. I found that the staff on duty was also kind and helpful in every way. I was especially impressed with your shuttle service and, again, how kind and considerate the entire staff was. If I ever return to the area, the Holiday Inn Express is where I would stay and I would certainly recommend it to any one who is planning a trip to the area. February 5, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice This hotel was good--front desk was very helpful and accomodating and the room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The shuttle to the airport was great. However, the shuttle from the airport needs a little work. We called when we landed and were told it would be 15 minutes. We waited for over 30. Other hotel shuttle drivers kept asking where we were going and when we told them, they nodded and suggested we keep calling-a lot. The shuttle obviously has a reputation for being late coming to the airport. We eventually took a different shuttle. When we got to the hotel, we were told that we must have just missed the driver, that he was there (he wasn't) and were offered no apology. January 31, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unable to rest The hotel allowed smoke machine at a 16 year old birthday party which caused the smoke alarms to go off from 11:00pm - 12:45am. My husband went to front desk and they didn't seem to be in a hurry to fix the problem. I called the Holiday Inn Customer Care line and was told that the manager will be calling me within 10 minutes to explain the situation. Which I never got. Our little boy was scared of the noise. We could not sleep because the alarm and the lights going off was so loud! We were packed and ready to leave eventhough we didn't know where we was going to spend the night. Apparently, the staff called an engineer after hour and a half later. Once he showed up, he was able to shut it off. Why did it take them so long to contact him! We were so exhausted next morning. Per front desk, they had this type of situations before. I guess... my question is.... why did it take so long to correct it? January 18, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 The stay turn into nightmare!!! We were on the 3rd floor. The floor above our rooms were sounds of running and jumping all night until the sun came up. We call the front desk to report the noise, it didn't help it continued. Our toilet was stop up, they could not fix it., and due to that may grandchildren got sick. The lady on the night shift didn't offer us a new room. The morning shift lady made arrangement for us to move. But by the time we received the new room at 1:30 pm. Both of children were vomiting. It was a good thing we had relative in other rooms during this stay. My stay At this holiday inn express was terrible. January 7, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bed and room were very comfortable. We received great service and a nice greeting at the desk upon check-in. Addtionally, the clerk provided an exceptional recommendation to ride the shuttle to the airport, and take MARTA to downtown Atlanta for the Chick-fil-A Bowl. It was very well timed, cost efficient and a grand substitute for driving, parking and traffic. The room and it's rate were wonderful - very nice, clean and comfortable bed. January 6, 2013

Had to contact the front desk twice to quiet the family down in the middle of the night. Staff was very considerate and attentive to the guest's needs. Other than the noisy guests, this was a great stay. I will stay at this hotel again and will recommend this hotel to others. December 22, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great staff, clean and convenient Great location. It is outside the main Atlanta traffic pattern but it has easy access to downtown and the airport without the airport noise. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is good though the hot items are the same every day. Coffee is always available, a big plus for me. The guest business center allows you to check in on-line and print boarding passes. The only con...if you have noisy neighbors you will hear them. Room was extremely clean, free hot morning breakfast was great and the staff very friendly. Lots of shops to check out and food to eat right across the street. A very convenient location. The shuttle service was prompt as well. We left our car there for several nights and felt very secure about the location and the well lit parking lot. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable but noisy This property is located about 5 miles from the airport and they get a lot of guests coming in at all hours. The walls are not very well insulated so you hear everything in the next room. The AC unit can not be turned on to run constantly which I normally do to drown out noise. This unit turns on and off. Many guests have not mastered the art of closing their door slowly, when they enter their room at 1 am, the door slams and it sounds like it is in your room. The location is very good with many restaurant choices within a short walk or a drive without getting back on the highway. They also have a managers reception on many nights and the deck overlooking the lake is a nice addition. The suites are on the front side of the hotel, but I would suggest a standard room overlooking the lake. This is because the shuttle bus parks in front and then backs out. When it backs up, you hear the loud beeping and this happens all night. Overall, this could be greatly improved if the AC fan could be set to run constantly. November 19, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed The room was comfortable as was the bed. I am very disappointed with the new design in the bathroom (and every hotel I have stayed in, in the last two years). I am 5'1" tall, and I have to tip toe to brush my teeth, wash my face and water goes everywhere. It is very uncomfortable. And how in the world would children wash their hands? One other thing, the person at the front desk had no knowledge of a shuttle service from Atlanta to Augusta. And this is something I would expect them to know. After staying at the subpar Holiday Inns on Best Road and Aiport Blvd I ventured a little further from the Atlanta Airport and stayed at Camp Creek. Now, this is the hotel I always stay at when I need a room close to the airport. This hotel is only a couple of years old, so the wifi is acceptable and everything is in great condition. I really liked the remote controlled heater / air conditioning fixtures that are hidden behind artwork on the wall. Also, I like that the fitness room has weights so that I can workout. Most hotels just have a treadmill or an ellyptical, which I have no interest in using. If you are returning a rental car to the airport, it is very convenient from this hotel. There are two gas stations along the way and Camp Creek leads directly to the airport. Also, the hotel is only a mile from 285, which is very convenient. I must have my Starbucks and there is one a block away from the hotel which makes it nice in the morning. Also, I would recommend Kiku Japanese Steakhouse for some hibachi or sushi. November 5, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PARK AND STAY We drove up the night before flight out to Cancun. I choose this HIExp because it was the only one in airport area that offered 2 QUEEN beds as an option. This HIExp is located in an area of town that offers many options for restaurants. Courteous staff with nice, clean, comfortable rooms. Timely shuttle service to Airport. Well lighted, safe feeling parking lot to leave car for the week. Only negative is that the pickup shuttle from the airport does not run on a loop and you have to call them when you arrive at pickup location and wait approx 25 minutes for a pickup. November 5, 2012

I have been stuck in Atlanta overnight too many times, given airline vouchers for hotels where I would not choose to board my dog. This hotel was a real pleasure, from the welcome I got at 10pm to the clean, spacious, and attractive room, to the quiet night's sleep. The only negative was the long wait in the cold windy shuttle station at the airport, but the driver was so friendly that I quickly forgot my discomfort there. This will be my refuge in Atlanta from now on! November 2, 2012

There are many places nearby to dine and shop. The hotel is relatively new so it's in great condition. The rooms are nice, updated and very comfortable. I was there for business but I would definitely stay again on business or pleasure. October 18, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice, comfortable bed, and great view of lake, beatiful deck The front desk staff was very nice welcoming. Hotel was nice, beautiful view with deck on backside. There was a lake on back. The only thing, I had a problem with was the breakfast lady. Breakfast ended at 9:30, even though there was line of people standing there at 9:00, she would not replenish the food items. I reported it to frontdesk, they said they would speak to her.
