Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by HOLIDAY INN MEMBER After checking in the other times I have stayed there being a Holiday Inn card carrier, I was always offered bottle water and snacka. This time I asjked for water and was told there were cups and a fountain to get water . Very dissapointing after a long drive . April 23, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Twice in a Week "2" This was my second stay at this hotel and it was no better than the first. While checking in I asked Nick if the Wifi was working, he said "Yeah", I then told him that I was here two days previous and it wasn't... he changed his story and said "Well, it goes in & out".... We were on a family trip & it was a rewards night... so I check in.... The room was fine, we went to the pool the kids had a blast... when we came up and put the boys in the shower, there was black mold in the shower grout (attached photos).... I choose to stay at this hotel and had never had a problem before this week... not a good start for the new management... April 22, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Customer Service I had a small problem with my reservation, but during a confirmation call on the way down the staff was able to catch the issue and correct it before my arrival. To err is human, but to take responsibility for the mistake and fix it without any inconvenience to me is Awesome. I've stayed at this motel multiple times and will definitely continue to stay here when in the Cincinnati area. The staff here is simply amazing. The rooms and common areas are consistently clean and well stocked. April 19, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Room 135 Stayed 4/8-4/10. I am a big fan of HI-Express, and I make an effort to stay in them on most of my travels. The greatest benefit to this stay was the value. I couldn't believe how reasonable the stay was considering the Reds had home games both nights. The location is great - convenient to I-471 and the riverfront. The bed was very comfortable - I slept great both nights. Most negative issues were minor - pancake maker was out of order both mornings... no big deal - there were plenty of other options. The parking lot was full each evening when I returned from my conference, and the back of the building is dark at night. Made me hesitant to park in the back. My biggest issue was Room 135 - end of the first floor side hall by the exterior door. Every time someone entered or exited the hotel, I had the hear the exterior door slam. The area behind my headboard was the laundry room, so no chance of sleeping in with laundry facilities running in the morning. The dead bolt for Room 135 did not latch - it appears the door and the latch don't line up. I mentioned it to the clerk when I checked out. Again, not a big deal, but needs to be fixed. The carpet in that room has numerous large stains. I would return but would hope I'd be somewhere other than Room 135. April 16, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by My Experience I have stayed in this hotel numerous times before since their opening. In fact, we stayed here the first weekend it opened its doors before it even had a sign. It was beautiful then but now it is starting to show its age. But I understand that a renovation is due ti happen soon. The sheers that hung on the window looked like someone crushed something plastic in the hew since there were small pieces in the bottom of the hem and they were so crumpled up with wrinkles it almost cried out "help" My real gripe is that the wireless internet was very weak and would kick me off after about 2 minutes so I was not able to do work that I needed to do. But the General manager took care of me. I would still use this hotel again It is a great location t everything for the city. Paula April 16, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Twice in a Week... I always stay at this hotel when I'm in Northern Kentucky on business. I had always had a very good experience until last week. I booked a room on 4/07/15 and arrived, I instantly knew there was something wrong. The guy at the desk was nice enough, but started off by telling me that management had changed & any issues from the past were now fixed. He didn't recognize me as a Gold Member of IHG and didn't offer me points or the water & snack. I got to my room and sat down at he desk to do some work. The wifi wouldn't connect, I called the desk and he said, try again... so I did and it wouldn't connect. I went down to the desk and his story changed, apparently they were having issues with it and had been for some time... I had to be able to connect, so I checked out and went across the street. Overall Bad Experience, not sure what is going on, but I hope the new management does better in the future. April 14, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel ran out of TP! This hotel ran out of toilet paper! I called the front desk to request more and was told they'd bring it up. Nothing appeared. I called back and was told they'd run out. I thought he was kidding. I suggested he go buy more and was told he was alone and couldn't leave. I suggested checking an empty room and was told they were booked. I suggested calling the staff coming in next. I offered solutions, but received only apologies. Unacceptable! After an hour, he produced a partial roll which was gone by morning. The hotel is supposed to be smoke-free, but the halls smelled of smoke and air freshener. The heat didn't work. They had no pancake mix throughout our stay. Guests had glass bottles in the pool area- unsafe and against the rules, but not the hotel's fault. Nice clientele. Unbelievable experience!
