Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff and updated hotel I was completely happy with my stay at this hotel this year. Our room was clean when arriving and was kept clean each day of our stay. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful with information that I required of them. The breakfast area had been updated and seated many more people than the past. The pool area was a bit cool, because of the cold weather outside, which should have been increased to a warmer degree to compensate this problem. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting stay in the Bellingham area. December 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Family Hotel Hotel staff was friendly, facility was extremely clean; pool area, lobby, dining area all excellent. Room was spacious and included a microwave, fridge, counter space, sink and plenty of storage. Bed was comfortable, pillows were perfect and plenty of outlets; even in the lamps. Internet was flawless. Even water wings and noodles were provided for the kids in the pool! Definitely will bring my family back to this facility on our next visit to Bellingham. December 2, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Too bad you can't avoid the reception desk on check in This hotel is everything you want: clean, quality rooms, value for the dollar, etc. Our reception was among the worst we've ever experienced. Unfortunately, the front desk person we dealt with (Stephanie) was completely unwelcoming, surly, had poor manners and social skills and little sense of how to work in the service/hospitality industry. The other woman working beside her was staring vacantly at her computer screen, playing with her hair and putting long hair into a pony tail and other "up do's" with her hands the whole time we were there! Leave your hair alone! Do that at home in front of the bathroom mirror! Very unprofessional. Also watch out for the "incidentals' fee they put on your debit/credit card that they don't tell you about at check in. It took two days after we checked out for that debit to become a credit on our account, even though we were reassured that if there was a problem we could always call the hotel and get it fixed. Yeah that's what I want to do, call and deal with a problem because I have nothing else to do in my life. The whole experience put us off this particular hotel. I/we will never stay here again unless they change their front staff or train them. December 1, 2014
