Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Lack of Security is appauling! On the second day of my stay while going to the breakfast area a very drunk man with a cup full of whiskey was able to walk freely throughout the hotel. He interrupted and talked to anyone who would listen and chose to go on into the pool area where his children were. I talked to the front desk people about this man and was quite shocked to see that they had no response or action to be taken. The front office receptionist called for a gentleman I am assuming from service who looked at what this individual was doing but failed to even breath a word to him. My granddaughter who had planned to go swimming chose not to go into the pool area at all. This individual and his family then asked the front office for a cab and I assume left the complex with no further incident but not before my family left the premises first. I truly hope this establishment gets some security protocol put in place! March 3, 2015

Since it has been recently rennovated, it was like staying in a new hotel. We knew from past experiences with Holiday Inns, that the staff would be friendly and the service would be great. My husband served me breakfast-in-bed - thanks to hotel's great breakfast menu. March 1, 2015

Great mirrors in the bathroom for anyone who wants to feel good before heading out on the town. Comfortable and clean rooms with nice decorating. Towels in the pool area for jacuzzi and swimming. It offered a great feeling as soon as you walk through the door and one of my best nights sleep on my long trip altogether. The staff were friendly and genuine and helpful. This was my first time visiting Bellingham and I hope that I will get to visit again and to stay at this hotel. February 26, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great pool, breakfast & customer service. I was highly impressed with the staff, and I thought the overall facility looked clean and inviting. It's not in perfect condition (it's not a five star resort), but it is pretty well maintained, and I think the staff work hard. The pool and breakfast are fantastic for kids. The beds were very comfortable. My only fault with the place was that the walls/floors are very thin - luckily it attracts a respectful clientele that did not make noise during sleeping hours otherwise this would be a problem. Also, I didn't expect to have to turn on cool air during the winter so I didn't learn to use the loud air blower; unfortunately it gets stuffy during the night. It is right in the middle of a mall area so you can find anything you need, and only 10-15 minutes from all the other Bellingham highlights. I will return there again in the future for sure with my tween girls in tow. February 26, 2015
