Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I will not recommend When we checked in the girl at the front desk was fantastic. The room was average, very bouncy bed that during the night if you turn around you will be awake. We could hear next room's bathroom, when they use the toilet or taking a shower, Very ugly carpet in the room. Breakfast was another issue, very very cheap Styrofoam plates (Holiday Inn should change its logo colors from green) Styrofoam cups not environmentally right, extremely cheap utensils, even I could not use the knife to spread cream cheese it was kept bending. Orange juice was NEVER TRY, We got used to have fantastic hot buffets from Holiday Inn Express but not this one, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TO HAVE BREAKFAST. This hotel price is too high for this quality. Holiday Inn corporate should be aware of this kind of services, because it does not do any good for the name. January 31, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Consistent This is always where I stay when I need a room in Birmingham. No surprises here, which is a good thing. The staff is always great and the rooms are always clean. I like the choice of Soft/Firm pillows. I would have graded the room excellent, but it does show signs of wear. I don't usually eat breakfast, but it looked good to me. Value is a question because I am not l always sure how that is handled. I seem to get different rates online versus in person, or if I reserve on my IHG Rewards account. Regardless, I don't feel it is overpriced. January 20, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Night of sleep Night of sleep....just ran away from overcrowded house. First room had clean , covered pillows on a chair,4 other uncovered pillows on floor...Not sure maid service had finished so we asked for another room-by cell phone because the room phone didn't work. Second room- all drawers & doors left open-a little creepy. I used my points for 1 night & feel like I was given inferior lodging! Disappointment! January 6, 2016
