Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great hotel and accommodations The hotel was very nice, everything about it was great. The location really made it for me. Loved the breakfast and the staff was all great. I was having a not so great day and at checkin Joe went above and beyond to make sure my stay was great with a really nice upgrade and super dining suggestions both days. That really made my trip. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not horrible, but the least impressive HIE I have stayed at It isn't horrible but in general it was more run down and shabby than and other Holiday Inn Express location I have stayed at in the USA. I would choose another location around Sarasota/Bradenton before I came back to this one, sorry. November 13, 2014

If you're basically going to go sleep then it's ok. One benefit they provide breakfast, but make sure you're there early or you might end up just having coffee. November 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Our First Stay We cannot praise the staff enough and yes we found the bed more comfortable than our own and that is something great I might add. The weather had turned cold and extremely windy and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts that you provided heating as well as A/C in our room - Ground floor for the Disabled - AND IT WAS NOT NOISY like so many Motels and Hotels. We were very grateful to have a refrigerator in our room although this would have been condemned in the UK! We forgot to report this but in fairness it was better than nothing to us. Later we became aware that you also provided a microwave on another lounge/floor. Your Express Holiday Inn was new to us and had been built fairly recently and we nearly did not use it although it was most convenient for us (we holiday every 2 years on Anna Marie Island) as it did not have a 'frig & microwave on your web! So it was a marvellous surprise. We will use you again & hope we can make full use of the Pool then. It looked great. Thank you for a relaxing break before our journey back to UK and please praise your staff (all of them). Many thanks. November 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Safe Parking in lighted area The overall stay was good. I think there can be improvement on lightning around the parking lot at night. It was very dark on one side of the hotel. The lights around the plants were not enough for you to feel safe getting out of your car. Trucks parked in front of the hotel took up 4 parking spaces. I think they should have a space near the back. November 10, 2014

I was extremely impressed with management and staff of the hotel. The only thing I noted was that the hotel could do with is a very good, deep thorough cleaning. November 2, 2014
