It is a very nice hotel and in a decent spot. When I was there, they were doing some pretty extensive remodeling and I thought that they could've dropped their prices more for that since you had to walk thru a construction zone every day to get to your room. Other than that, the staff were great, the room was good, and it wasn't to loud or anthing.

When I booked the room I wasn't not notified that hotel was under major construction. The whole lobby and the exterior of the hotel was under construction.

no wake up call! they came to my door well after the time and knocked on the door. I it was not for my phone I would have missed my flight.

Some times it's just so bad, you have to write a review about it....
Sure, I understand that they're renovating. I can work with that. The aroma of fresh construction adhesives in the room was bad. The dust and dirt in the room was awful. Spackling compound was caked on the door knobs. The view out the window? 2x4s, plastic, and a work light that stayed on all night.
Oh, I was offered a slice of pizza at the front desk. It was cold. Too bad they didn't have warm beer or a flat Pepsi to go with it.
It's back to Hampton Inns for me. See you there.

Unaware at time of booking that hotel was being renovated. Breakfast was poorly stocked, items were out.

Upon arrival noticed the hotel was being renovated. Checked in told the staff I was a Gold Member, I did not receive the Greating that Gold Members should be given, I was not mentioned by name. When I departed, work was being proformed above the main door by workman, tools could of been dropped on people entering or exiting the building, no caution signs, or another route advised. The smell of concrete dust was in the air. I will not return to that hotel

The hotel was going through some remodeling efforts and that is understandable. The room was not as nice as recent stays with tiling, floors, counters and trim work, but the bed was comfortable, the stay was exceptable and the price was right.
It was a last minute decision to stay here and the staff was VERY accomodating.

Good value but building works ongoing at the moment, will be better when complete. 5 minutes to the airport with free shuttle,

Hotel in midst of refurbishment but a welcome refuge near Cleveland airport on a dismal night for tourists escaping Sandy in NYC! All staff very friendly and helpful, particularly the shuttle driver.
Refurbishing in progress in lobby but rooms quiet, very spacious and comfortable.
Excellent buffet breakfast and good range of fresh food, kept well stocked.

The hotel looked like it had been bombed. The front desk person was very friendly...although I wish she had warned me about what I was going to encounter on the 2nd floor. I would say 90% of it was under construction and I was walking through a hard hat area....how do I know this? Because the contractors were running around with their hardhats. I would come up to interior doors and open them had to keep going to the end of my hall. On other side of the hotel. Very strange. My room was ADA too and I was not told this before.
Also when i got up at 5:30am and turned on the hot tub and then the shower some red particles came out of the drain on the both of them. I touched one with a kleenix and it appeared to be a red lipstick chunks. This too was a new experience. After cleaning both out...I used them.
I told the front desk person and the manager about this...nothing was really done about it.
Breakfast was fine....the usual.
The van ride to the airport was great. Quick and efficent.
I think I would opt for another hotel. It was sketchy there and kind of depressing.
