Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Youth Sports tournament Overall amenities similar to all other Holiday Inn Express's. While a 3rd floor was added recently, we got a room on the 2nd floor which had not been updated (but was still clean and comfortable). The best thing was that my kids and others were able to hang out in the Social lounge on the 3rd floor. This room was great. We picked up food from local resturants and there were tables, couch, chairs, computer, and a big TV. The kids had space to do their thing and the adults were able to chat and watch TV. It also had a kitchenette. If you were having a group, not just a business group, this lounge would be a great get together place. April 15, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room, terrible customer service We stayed for one night before leaving from the Cleveland airport. We accidentally left a sweatshirt in the room. When we called, the desk clerk was very unhelpful. He said that they throw away anything that was left and that they didn't have a lost and found. After some consideration, we called back and asked to speak to the manager. The same man said he was the manager when we called back. This time he said that they had a lost and found but they only save things for 2 days and throw them away on Sundays. (We called within the 2 day window on a Sunday). After repeated requests, he finally agreed to ask the housekeeper, even though he said she wasn't there that day. In a couple minutes he came back on the line and said that there wasn't anything left in the room. While the hotel itself was nice, the uncaring and unhelpful clerk on duty on March 24 was a poor example of customer service. Even though a missing sweatshirt might not be a big deal to him, it was a personalized team sweatshirt that was easily identifiable and had sentimental value to us. I would expect better from a Holiday Inn. March 27, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to Stay The hotel was still undergoing renovation, but it was clean and quiet. The desk staff was great, and the shuttle service to the airport was timely and efficient. The breakfast was just OK ... the eggs had a type of cheese sauce in the center that was pretty awful but the other items were fine. All in all, good value for the money. February 2, 2013

When I was there, they were doing some pretty extensive remodeling and I thought that they could've dropped their prices more for that since you had to walk thru a construction zone every day to get to your room. Other than that, the staff were great, the room was good, and it wasn't to loud or anthing. December 21, 2012

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What a disappointment Some times it's just so bad, you have to write a review about it.... Sure, I understand that they're renovating. I can work with that. The aroma of fresh construction adhesives in the room was bad. The dust and dirt in the room was awful. Spackling compound was caked on the door knobs. The view out the window? 2x4s, plastic, and a work light that stayed on all night. Oh, I was offered a slice of pizza at the front desk. It was cold. Too bad they didn't have warm beer or a flat Pepsi to go with it. It's back to Hampton Inns for me. See you there. December 11, 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ANOTHER DAY ON THE ROAD Upon arrival noticed the hotel was being renovated. Checked in told the staff I was a Gold Member, I did not receive the Greating that Gold Members should be given, I was not mentioned by name. When I departed, work was being proformed above the main door by workman, tools could of been dropped on people entering or exiting the building, no caution signs, or another route advised. The smell of concrete dust was in the air. I will not return to that hotel December 2, 2012

The room was not as nice as recent stays with tiling, floors, counters and trim work, but the bed was comfortable, the stay was exceptable and the price was right. It was a last minute decision to stay here and the staff was VERY accomodating. Thanks. November 27, 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Refurbishing but great service. Hotel in midst of refurbishment but a welcome refuge near Cleveland airport on a dismal night for tourists escaping Sandy in NYC! All staff very friendly and helpful, particularly the shuttle driver. Refurbishing in progress in lobby but rooms quiet, very spacious and comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast and good range of fresh food, kept well stocked. November 5, 2012

The front desk person was very friendly...although I wish she had warned me about what I was going to encounter on the 2nd floor. I would say 90% of it was under construction and I was walking through a hard hat area....how do I know this? Because the contractors were running around with their hardhats. I would come up to interior doors and open them had to keep going to the end of my hall. On other side of the hotel. Very strange. My room was ADA too and I was not told this before. Also when i got up at 5:30am and turned on the hot tub and then the shower some red particles came out of the drain on the both of them. I touched one with a kleenix and it appeared to be a red lipstick chunks. This too was a new experience. After cleaning both out...I used them. I told the front desk person and the manager about this...nothing was really done about it. Breakfast was fine....the usual. The van ride to the airport was great. Quick and efficent. I think I would opt for another hotel. It was sketchy there and kind of depressing. October 21, 2012
