Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to Holiday Inn Express standards We are usually satisfied with Holiday Inn but this property was not it. Most importantly, bed was not good. My wife had a terrible sleep the first night due to this. It seemed softer than other locations and it squeeked every time we turned. We asked them to fix noise and remove the foam pad on top. They fixed the noise but foam pad was not removed. It was removed when the "maintenance" person was sent up after a call, but the bed covering was left half-done when he left. Also, no note was left so front-desk person did not know what was done/ not done. Hand towels and foot towel were removed but not replaced. Called housekeeping but was asked to come down to front desk to get them because they were short on staff. Another problem is the front desk. The staff was never there. They were usually behind the "glassed" section and did not come out until they were called - no bell. One time, I had to wait 5 min before anyone showed up. Lastly, a bad location. Not in a good neighborhood and had to drive through big water puddle in front of a Car Wash every time to get to the hotel. All this after paying unreasonably high rate for a room. April 16, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Worst HI-E I've stayed at in a while. TV did not work. Very cheap fixtures in bathroom. Tub knob to turn on shower was stuck and broke off in my hand. Lamp on/off switch broke as I turned the lamp off to leave. Very strange arrangement of furniture in Suite Room and poorer quality than most HI-E hotels. No cookies on check-in like many sites offer customers. Sink furniture in bathroom had no toe space beneath and was higher than normal and sink was far away from edge in order to lean over the sink. Have never seen a toilet quite like this one that had 2 buttons on top to flush; almost appeared to be from a foreign country, not the U.S. Food was good, as usual for HI-E breakkfast. Hotel only has one elevator and hotel is not adjacent to highway and has no obvious entrance to access across Starbucks parking lot. Overall, this property did not meet typical Holiday Inn Express standards. Customer service was adequate, but slow and there was only one person working for the 2 days we arrived, stayed and left the property. April 16, 2015
