Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Very Poor quality Holiday inn express Given that i stay half of the year or more in Holiday inns and expresses, This one rates very low on the agenda Rooms very cold unless the heating system is left on day and night at 30. Then the stupid blower fan keeps you awake when the temperasture is reached. No free internet in the lobby. Most hotels offer free internet throughout now. Bar ran out of beer on 2 occaisions over the last 3 weeks. I only stayed there to get the points. Staff friendly and helpfull Often no bananas or rolls at breakfast (small point) but as a Diabetic, Bananas are my one luxury. :-) No underfloor heating in bathroom didnt help matters with the heating, especially when we were working in near freezing conditions for 12 hours a day. Showers very good tho. March 7, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel, I stayed here for 9 nights, 12/1/13--21/1/13, The staff were excellent, THANK YOU Staff, the Hotel was so clean, everything worked for me, up at work silly o'clock, peace was required and peace I got, food was excellent, nice beer with a great selection, next time work takes me within 20 miles of this hotel I will be staying here, all in all It is the best HIE I have ever stayed inn, 10/10 on everything. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beds were comfortable but the pillows could have been better. This hotel was of the usual Holiday Inn standard it was clean and warm. We arrived late but the restaurant was still open. We had to wait for the food but it was well worth it, it was hot and very tasty. If we are in the area again we will stay again. January 15, 2013

The hotel staff are the best feature and are always friendly and good to chat to. The rooms are constantly in good repair and any small problems are quickly resolved. The heating in the bar/restaurant area has now been repaired (thanks David) and does make a big difference to customers and staff alike. December 18, 2012
