Overall experience was very, very good with room and hotel itself.
There was a group of construction workers staying on the same floor and in the room next to our's.
They were very, very loud until about 10:30 PM and they finally went to bed.
That was the only thing that was not good but not a fault of the hotel or staff , just patrons.

Happy to find this place right off the interstate south of Macon. My wife booked it for me as I was tired after a long day of driving. I hopped right off I-75 and there it was. Pretty bare bones, but clean and comfortable for a good night's sleep.

My party and I were on a road trip and pulled up to get a room without a previous booking. Got a room and had a great one night stay, before continuing our road trip.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DenJac43 A poor place to stay
Arrived just before 2 PM and asked to check in. Was told check-in was at 3 PM. Explained needed to change for a funeral. Manager at desk, without even looking my way, stated we were full last night and have no clean rooms. Hard to believe that entire motel was going to be cleaned in just over an hour. It was not fun getting changed at the house where a family member had died the day before or unloading the car at 10 PM after a day on the road and a memorial service. Mid-south Georgia sure does not compare well to Northwest Georgia where we raised our family.

After spending the weekend attending multiple SEC basketball tourney games in Nashville, I was on my last legs when through tired and bloodshot eyes, I saw the Holiday Inn Express illuminated in the night fog and it's guarantee of a clean comfortable room. To my surprise it was priced very competitively with two other smaller chain motels. When I half-heartedly suggested I would check the other chain rates across the road and get back later, your Front Desk staff offered me a cookie and a small discount to take a room there. She had me at the cookie and I could not have made a better decision. Frankly I stayed in bed an hour later than I had intended because the bed was soooooo comfortable and it was soooooo quiet.
Thank you for keeping the best standards in the industry without charging an arm and my aforementioned last, tired leg.
