The waterside and pool are great. Despite staying at this location about 5 times, this was the first time we enjoyed the room service from menu of the nearby Ricky's Lounge / Grill. A nice treat! Would recommend this property to anyone as it's not too far from shopping at Ikea and other box stores. February 5, 2014

NOTE: The new staff under training at the front desk, her name is Grace if I am not mistaken speaks elegantly and deals with customer professionally. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Up keep needs improvements The bathroom had mild/mildew along the bottom of the floor and tub. The wall paper above the shower encasement was peeling and the overall condition of the room has declined since I first started staying here several years ago. There are much nicer hotels available for the same price. This will probably be the last stay at this hotel. Too bad for a great quality name hotel. Bill October 24, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stay! Last November we stayed at this hotel with our elderly parents, and did not have the best experience. I called the manager, Kim, and she told us that the next time we visited, she would upgrade our rooms to suites. We went back last weekend for our daughter's wedding. Not only did we get the promised suites, my husband and I were upgraded to the jaccuzzi suite. The staff, and service were wonderful. We could not be happier, Will definitely stay here again. Staff were courteous and helpful, especially with an early check in request, and breakfast was a great way to start the day. Will definitely return and will be looking for Holiday Inn's as we travel. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mix up in Reservation I booked the reservation through a third party - I got an email confirmation with the correct arrival/departure dates but when I got to the hotel, it had been entered into their system wrong. They showed me staying 2 extra nights and since it was a late cancellation, they charged me 1 of the extra nights. I've been dealing with the hotel manager for 5 days now and still no resolution. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet room, comfortable bed, great variety for breakfast, but lack of knowledge about surrounding area Room was very nice with a very comfortable bed. Nice to have fridge and microwave in room. There was a large variety of food for breakfast. The only problem I had was the fact that the staff that was on one of the mornings was not sure of how to get to the LRT line. He told me he thought I had to walk about a block from the hotel, but the block turned into a 20 minute walk in the pouring rain. Had I known it was that long of a walk I would have taken a taxi. When I spoke with the girl that was on in the afternoon she said the walk is only 12 minutes (I guess if you jog). It would be very convenient if there was a wall map of the surrounding area that the clients could actually see where the points of interest are located, as well as the restaurants. Also, a map that is located on the counter that the clients could take with them would be convenient. September 11, 2013
