Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and super staff We loved our stay, all six of us, two teenagers and 4 adults. This property has everything you could ask for, plus. Centrally located and close to all venues we wanted to see, historic, naval and Charleston's great restaurants. A very nice, friendly and caring staff. The pool was very clean and nicely appointed, we used it to cool off on a very hot, hot day August 2, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Needs some cleaning - The room was spacious - bed was comfy - staff was friendly - food was good. Bathroom needs some deep cleaning - the tile grout had lots black and pink mildew/mold. Shower curtain had mildew all along the bottom of it. When reported it to the desk I showed him pictures of the mildew and he offered to move me to a different room. I stated I didn't want to have to move all my stuff, I'd rather just have housekeeping clean it better. When we came back to our room that evening it appeared the housekeeper did very little to clean the mold and the same shower curtain was still hanging. Had to pay $60.00 for second night due to weekend rate but room cleanliness didn't improve why should rate? July 30, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Room no clean but staff was helpful Our bed had hairs on it- several, directly under the pillow. The second beds sheets were incredibly wrinkled. The room was very small and the bathroom incredibly small. My older son went down to tell the staff that there were hairs on the bed and he was told to brush them off. I went down to ask for clean sheets. We ended up changing our own sheets at 1 a.m. The front desk help was helpful when I went down and the staff in the morning was very helpful, changed our reservations and gave us a discount for the unclean mattress.
