Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by ABSOLUTE WORST HOTEL IN THE HOLIDAY INN CHAIN Problems from minute I checked in - during stay - and at checkout. Luggage carts were broken and uncleaned. New desk clerk checked me in under the wrong name and room number. Given a smoking room after check in - though requested a non smoking room. First room assigned was missing TV - and furniture was old and should be discarded. Reassigned a second room that smelly - and though a non smoking room-- smelled musty . Had to visit a local drug store to purchase disinfectant sprays to make the room livable. Floors had refuse from previous guest, and were dirty. Keys to new room did not work - had to return to desk for new keys. Second day - room not swept -no replacement coffee cups or coffe packets-again - keys did not work. Tub and shower had rust and corrosion., Ice machine was broken. Furniture was old and worn. No pool or exercise room because "under construction for the past 6 months". Was checked out at wrong rate - and had to return to hotel to correct the rates charged. Was neither offered nor given 500 reward point options. The worst hotel I have experienced as a platinum member. July 31, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by New management has a lot of work ahead of them I was disappointed in the state of this hotel. I understand the new management just took over, but I feel the front desk should have advised guests upon check in that the pool, exercise room, business center, ice machines and vending machines were not working. The handicap room I had requested for my parents was no longer available, and the two rooms I was given smelled musty - however, they were clean. My husband reminded me, we were there to visit family - so the hotel was just a place to sleep. July 31, 2015
