I have enjoyed my stay here at the Holiday Inn Express on Best Rd.
I would recommend this place to anyone that want to have a nice get a way.

My room was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and helpful. However, since the hotel didn't have a restaurant and there were no restaurants within walking distance, I found it inconvenient. Maybe the shuttle could offer a ride to a nearby restaurant for people who don't have a car.

Every time we fly we stay here the night before our flight. We are always greeted with a welcoming smile. We get a clean comfortable room and a great breakfast, then we are shuttled to the airport to be dropped off at curbside service for the airline of our choosing. No hassles, no headaches, no traffic worries and our car is waiting in the secure parking when we get back.

All hotel seems old and the A/C in the room was not cooling well so the moisture was uncomfortable.
The bath tub didnt work properly...

This hotel was a bit of a mixed bag for me. The counter service wasn't great. When I stopped down around 10 PM to grab some snacks, I didn't want to build into my room because my employer would not pay for that. I asked if I could just use a credit card to pay for the snacks. He got this annoyed look on his face and huffed. Then took my credit card info and I paid. I said thank you and he just gave an mmhmm. Then, in the morning I had lost the wireless access code and called down to get it. Her response was a very dry "you should already have it with the key from check in". I responded that I did get it but that I lost it. Just done with a poor attitude. All she really needed to say was the wireless code and the phone call would've been over painlessly. Now the staff walking around the hotel was great. They were all very friendly and personal. The room was clean and breakfast was good. With some attitude adjustments at the counter, I'd probably stay here again. I'll give it another try and see how it goes.

We were going to visit family and had an early morning flight so we needed a place close to the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property was in good repair.

This hotel is nice in appearance except it has been not maintained properly. Staff is bit lazy in servicing guests. Rooms are very comfortable and up to fresh appearance. Breakfast should be well stocked during breakfast hours. They were out of some of the items required as far as IHG advertise. Over all I would stay here again and I would hope service by staff is bumped up.

During corporate travel I frequent lodge at Holiday Inn Express due to the appearance of the properties, courtesy of the staff, and overall experience. I will recommend Holiday Inn to anyone. The only opportunity I had at this property was; I turned on the shower and tub filled with water in seconds which was due to the tub being clogged.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express at College Park was over all pleasant. My only regret is having a flight that required me to be at the airport before breakfast was served. Also the Air Conditioner in my room worked, however it left the room quite humid. I set the temperature to 66 and it still felt like it was in the mid 70's in the room. Apart from that I had an enjoyable experience and it met my needs accordingly.

The shuttle was great. Every half hour the shuttle picked someone up. I didn't need to rent a car because the shuttle takes you to and from the airport and since they have a full service restaurant menu for in room delivery for most of the day I didn't have to go anywhere once I got to my room.

This reviewer and his family stayed here on a layover. We did use our points.
BUT- this property is undergoing significant renovation. It was, well, a mess.
The shuttle driver was professional and helpful. The shuttle needed to be retired a few years ago. Ripped seats, windows/interior/exterior were awful.
We had asked for the shuttle service take us back to the hotel the next morning, and there were, oh, maybe 20 travelers waiting.
We asked the front desk agent to hail a cab for us- and to tell the cabbie that there were 6 adults and luggage from a 2-week cruise.
One cab showed up, but could not accommodate the fare, so a second was called. This was an expense that did not need to have occurred.
If we come back to this property, we will call to ask the status of the renovation AND shuttle first.
Fellow travelers- note the ongoing reports from others that state pretty much the same thing.

I had a very relaxing stay at the Holiday Inn Express Atlanta Airport-College Park. I had just arrived after a 6 hour drive and was greeted by the very friendly desk clerk. She and the other staff members made me feel very welcomed as she recognized me as an Gold Card member. She handed me my gift bag and made sure I was well taken care of by offering me the chance to participate in the Managers dinner/buffet. I greatly appreciated the gesture and enjoyed the 7 layer dip and meatballs. As the days went by I was greeted daily with a smile from the staff and it made my week great. I look forward to staying at the hotel again in the near future. Thanks again for the OUTSTANDING services provided!

1. Hotel was close to airport, but not easy to find (driving rental car)
2. Hotel appearance comprimised by portable cooling unit in parking area (indication of central A/C problems or failure
3. For this frequent traveller, a good shower (water pressure, ease of shower accesss/egress) is very desirable. The room lacked a quality shower
4, After long day of driving, not good to encounter hotel staff personnel that seemed not pleased to welcome.
5. Ask for directions to shopping areas; response was weak attempt to verbalize...using maps as reference was not used. This is poor service
6. In today's world, staying in hotel not only includes rest and wash-up, but also charging computers, cell fones, and tablets. Power outlets not convientely located for this mandatory daily requirement

My family of four (2 parents, 2 kids) had a flight change that required us to be at ATL airport early on a Saturday morning, so I made a same-day reservation at this HI Express for an Executive Level room with 2 Queen beds. I am an IHG Gold Elite member.
When we arrived at the hotel, there were obviously some problems. The employees at the front desk explained that several rooms unexpectedly had to be closed out (?), and therefore the room with two beds that we had reserved was not available. They assured us that they could accommodate us in a King room on the executive floor with a rollaway for my two kids. They assured me that the rollaway was big and able to accommdate the two kids. Having no other options, we reluctantly agreed. The front desk employees seemed so stressed that it felt like we were helping them out! Somewhere along the line, the desk manager mentioned that we'd get extra IHG points for being so accommodating...
An hour later, (after calling the front desk twice because it was already past my kids bedtime), the rollaway bed finally arrived -- a twin, with only sheets. I asked the kind engineer if there was a larger bed, but he said that this was the only one available. So, I asked him to bring us a bedspread or quilt for the bed. Twenty minutes later, he arrived with another set of sheets. A kind man, but he obviously wasn't able to bring us another bedspread/quilt.
Reluctantly, we tried tucking both kids into the rollaway but it simply wasn't big enough to accommodate them both. So our 6 year-old decided he was going to share the King with his parents. No big deal... but he is an "active sleeper" and kicked us all night long. It was a terrible night. we got no rest. Enjoyed the standard HIE breakfast before hitting the airport bright and early. On the bright side, at least we didn't oversleep!!

My sister, BIL, and I overnighted before leaving town the next day. The rooms were adequate, though my room had two problems: I couldn't get hot water (only warm) in the shower; and I couldn't get the AC fan to run continuously. (I like to sleep with a little white noise, especially at a hotel near an airport.)
On the plus side, their hotel shuttle took us and picked us up from a local restaurant.

This is an airport hotel and therefore remote from restaurants etc, however it is typically a good standard Holiday Inn Express which I could not fault and there are a couple of hotels down the road with bars and restaurants.

I do miss the wonderful cookies we formerly received at this hotel. (I have stayed here many times).

This was the 10th or 11th time I've stayed here, and this hotel never disappoints. I've stayed for leisure, and I've stayed for training. The staff has to be the friendliest bunch in the hotel industry. They are courteous and helpful, and they make the stay even better than it otherwise would be.
Breakfast is a great benefit. Plenty of options, and the quality is excellent.
I will most definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff is very helpful, efficient and friendly.
They take the time to explain or answer questions about the area or about the amenities available to their guests.
The rooms are clean, the bedding is comfortable and the bathrooms are stocked with quality shampoo and soaps. The free breakfast has a variety of items and is well stocked.
Very good Atlanta Airport hotel with a reliable 24 hour hotel van service.

We have stayed here many times when we could have stayed at other hotels close to the airport. The staff is friendly, our room has always been clean and updated, the complimentary breakfasts have a lot to choose from, and the airport shuttle is always on time. I appreciate the lotion, soap, and shampoo being from Bath and Body Works. Our stay there was very quiet, but sometimes that hasn't been the case. Of course, no matter where you are staying - you can have the misfortune of noisy neighbors!

This is my place to stay before flights.
Comfortable, clean with great staff and good variety for the breakfast bar.
I wish that consideration could be given to having the shuttle go to Int. Terminal even if it is at an additional charge.

Overpriced for the area and what you get. Needs to be remodel. Staff was rude and didn't have time to address my questions. Nothing to do or see in the area. Food options in the area where all bad. Only reason I would stay here is for a nights rest, but for the money there are better places in the area.

Komfortables Bett, Frühstück umfangreich, aber leider nicht gut nachgefüllt. Tische nicht geputzt trotz riesigem Andrangs im Frühstücksbereich.
Viele laute Flugzeuge, da nah am Flughafen, aber die Fenster sind gut schallisolierend.Leider konnte ich die Fenster nicht öffnen und musste daher die Klimaanlage viel nutzen.
Durch Baustellen im Haus tagsüber laut, Fahrstühle teilweise durch Bauarbeiten blockiert und verschmutzt.- Dafür keine Hinweise beim Buchen und nachher beim Einchecken.

We observed that our door would not close. Reported to the front desk. Said they would notify maintance. When we returned for the day to the hotel, our door still DID NOT close shut. We had to pull it shut. Also our toilet would not flush. Had to hold the handle down. That was reported at the same time but again was not fixed. The hotel did not have coffee lids for our coffee cups. We were not able to take our coffee with us that morning or any other time. Also the lids in the rooms coffee lids did not fit the room coffee cups.
I was not recognized as a IHG rewards member.
