My room had only a few hangars. My request for more was either low priority or ignored as I had to call back to the front desk to be told none available.
Asked that the clock be reset as it was slow, nope, couldn't manage that either.
However, the building is nice, clean and in good repair. Check-in and out were easy enough and the internet worked if you ignore the password failed notice.

I will consider staying in this hotel again, as I will be on College station in a couple of weeks.

This is a very average hotel, but it's okay. Not what you normally see at HIE. This is the second time I have stayed here recently and both rooms have had something broken in them, such as the hook broken off the bathroom door. I try to stay at HIE whenever I can but I will probably try their other CS property next time.
The breakfast was normal HIE style (great cinnamon rolls) and every staff member was very helpful and courteous. The rooms just need some attention to minor details. Maybe due to recent oilfield activity.

The rooms need to be updated, and the elevator is REALLY slow, I heard many people complain. Next time I will stay at the other College Station Holiday Inn.

Refused all discounts over charged 600 dollars on my credit card and took 7 days to get it straight and I'm a gold member with IHG and I exclusively stayed at holiday in for business since 2007. I will never stay there again

Overall the hotel is what you would expect of a Holiday Inn Express. However, at this hotel I had issues with the television and the heating air conditioning not working. I had to get a new key daily because it would fail to open my room or the side entrance. I moved to another room after 1 night of a 3 night stay because the problems couldn't be corrected until the last night of my stay.
