I stay at many hotels and a lot of them are HIE, but the staff and the facility make this one of my favorites... !!!

I stay almost exclusively at this hotel chain when I travel for work and am almost always happy but the staff at this location is the best group of people that I have seen anywhere! They are all so friendly and helpful and everyone truly enjoys their work and helping out. I was very impressed that every room is double checked by hotel staff after housekeeping is done to make sure that nothing was missed. I stayed here for close to 40 nights in a row and only once had to call the front desk when my remote control for the TV was misplaced by housekeeping. An honest mistake, it must have been tangled in the bed sheets when they changed them. It was so nice to know that my room would be perfect every time I walked in after a long day at work. I almost had to fight with the breakfast staff to clear my own table, they were so attentative and happily reminded me that they were there for me and to take care of me. Did I mention the cookies? Always fresh and moist and I swear they were made with love. The only thing that I could possibly ask? Serve the folded eggs with cheese more often.
To the owners of this hotel I say that you should do whatever it takes to keep this staff. I have never seen better of been around more friendly people. I am a Platinum member so I have stayed in many hotels. Your staff is the best! Give your selves a pat on the back! (just don't let it go to your heads)
The entire chain should model themselves after this hotel!

i just want to let you know that Linda at the front desk is a pleasure to interact with , it was nice that she remembered me from a prior stay. It is also refreshing to find some one who genuinely enjoys her job and dealing with people. she is truely a Gem.

My husband was recuperating from super major surgery....9 1/2 hours, 80 staples, etc. All the staff was gracious, solicitous, and very concerned....even before he broke the mirror. They were especially helpful and checked on him multiple times afterwards.

My family and I stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Columbus,Ga from 01/14/2013 to 01/16/2013. We were there for my son's graduation from Fort Benning. We enjoyed our stay very much. All of the staff were so friendly. The room was clean and very nice. The bed's were wonderful. We also met up with other family's who had loved one's graduating. Sierra Lynn went out of her way to make us feel welcome and help us connect. I would like to thank the staff for the fantastic service we received. Yvonne, Linda,Kiki thank you for treating us like family. I wish I would have gotten all the names. The breakfast buffet was great. My little girl really enjoyed the pancake maker. The area was perfect for the best restaurants and not far from the base at all. We also loved the aquarium my little girl enjoyed watching them feed the fish. We really were treated like family. My family and I will never stay anywhere else.

Good choice for me. Good value for the money. The hotel property is relatively new and in good shape. Good location: lots of restaurants nearby.

Very clean hotel with great service. The pillows need to be updated, but otherwise the bed was pretty comfortable. Heated pool was great at the end of November when it is cooler and hottub was small but served it's purpose. Would recommend this hotel for anyone's future stay in the area.

We stayed at this hotel to be near Fort Benning and the hospitality shown to my family and I was greatly appreciated. Every person we came in contact with were very nice and helpful. The pancake maker was a nice addition to breakfast and the giant aquarium was a favorite of my niece and nephew as well as my son. I highly recommend this hotel and when we return to the Columbus, Ga area we will be booking here again. Thank you very much for making it feel like home while we were away!
