Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy room This is a good property that I stay at often but on this most recent visit, I was given a room that needs to be completely taken out of the inventory and perhaps turned into something other than a guest room - like a storage room. It is next to an electrical room and all night long my sleep was interrupted by something that sounded like a compressor turning on and off (loudly). What little I know of mechanical systems makes me think it was perhaps an air compressor for the sprinkler systems which are pressured up with air until a sprinkler head releases. Don't let the desk assign you room 119. I should have changed room regardless of the lateness of the hout January 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Stay Ever I stayed 3 nights in this hotel. NIGHT 1: -hallways in entire hotel are filthy. They look like they hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. -The elevator had large hand and arm prints on the doors and walls. I understand that hands are oily and leave hand prints, but these prints looks old, overly grimy, and simply disgusting on the walls. -Elevator floor also hadn't been cleaned in weeks at least. There was dust. grime, and dirt all over the floor and it was filing up in the corners. NIGHT 2: -I arrived back at the hotel from work around 4:30pm. -The hallways and elevators were still filthy. The same dirt piles and prints were still highly present and visible, plus some new additions. -I wanted a shower, so I went in to get it ready. I was getting ready to turn the water on, and I noticed that the little plug on the water faucet would not stay. The plug is used to change the bath into a shower. It would not stay in place for me to take a shower. I called the front desk and she changed my room. She upgraded it actually to a Jacuzzi suite. I was initially excited for this until I found SEVERAL things wrong with that room -the room was not vacuumed. There was dirt, dust, and human hair on the floor. -there were water stains on the ceiling and peeling wallpaper everywhere. -The tile was cracked all over the Jacuzzi, and there was even a hole in the wall. There was also dirt and grime built up all around it on the tiles and moving onto the hotel walls. After filling it to try and relax, I saw human hair, dust, and dirt floating in it. THAT IS DISGUSTING! I didn't even drain it because I didn't want to stick my arm in it. -There are cobwebs all over the room along the floor trim (worst is by the floor lamp) -There was old dried up nasty food on the floor. I had no idea how long it had been there or what it was, but I was certainly not going to touch it! -And to top it all off THE SHOWER ALSO DIDN'T WORK! This was the whole reason I was moved in the first place. -I shared these complaints with the woman working the front desk that evening, and she simply apologized. She never told a manager of my complaints, and she never tried to make it right. -By the time I get unpacked (again) and find all of these things that are wrong, I am stressed out, angry, and it is 8:30pm. I had to still prepare materials for my client the next day and meet them at 5:30am. I did not get to sleep until 10pm, and I was waking up throughout the night to the point where I maybe had 4 hours of sleep. -This was the most uncomfortable night of sleep. Literally. This bed was terrible. I would have rather stayed in my old room. NIGHT 3 -I got back from work around 5:30pm -I came back from work, and I found that EVERYTHING listed above was still IN THE SAME CONDITION. -floors not vacuumed, hair, dust, cobwebs everywhere, Jacuzzi was drained but not cleaned (still hair, dust, and dirt inside), dried food STILL on the floor, and the maintenance issues (wallpaper, tile, and ceiling) were all STILL THE SAME. NOTHING WAS ADDRESSED OR FIXED. -To top it all off, there was ANIMAL HAIR on the blue blanket that was laid across the foot of my bed. It looked like dog or cat hair. I do not own these animals, and I did't appreciate it being there. -I complained to the front desk this night, and it happened to be the same woman from the night before. She again apologized, brought me a new blanket for the foot of my bed, and did nothing else to remedy the situation. -I am again getting to bed late from trying to prepare materials for my client, packing my things so I can leave this terrible place the following morning, and just from all the time i spent complaining to the front desk. I tried to explain to her my situation several times, and she did not seem to care whatsoever. I did not feel like a valued customer at all, and I highly doubt that I will ever be back. CHECK OUT DAY -I packed up my car and as I was getting ready to check out, I was asked "How was your stay?" with a cheery smile on the lady's face. She obviously had no idea. I let loose and told her EVERYTHING that happened. As my story grew in length her eyes grew in width. She kept apologizing, and I told her to stop because a) it wasn't specifically her fault and b) That's all I have heard all week and nothing changed. -I left a list of all of my complaints that I could think of at the time, but I probably missed a few since there were far too many things wrong with my stay. She said she would pass it along to a manager and the head of housekeeping. The head of housekeeping is supposed to double check that everything is indeed clean and ready for guests. Obviously someone wasn't doing their job! I cannot attach any of my photos to this website because there is an error each time I try, so if anyone wants to see them or the videos, contact me please. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant, attentive staff - nice rooms We arrived late and room was ready and waiting. While we experienced a few issues with our stay, they were specific to the room we slept in and thus unbeknownst to staff. The front desk clerk was apologetic and helpful in trying to rectify the matter. Items were noted at check-out for management to review and thus be able to correct issues for future guests. We had hoped to utilize the pool and whirlpool but did not have time. The breakfast area was cozy and the food selection was good. The rooms were well appointed - possibly recently redecorated and upgraded. The hotel is convenient to the interstate but without too much road noise. January 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service Well well satisfied. The desk help was very friendly, and reservation was made on the road towards the Danville Illinois location. The room I requested was complete and comfortable. When having a jacuzzi tub in the room, more towels would be helpful. December 30, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by I would keep on driving The staff were wonderful and friendly. The room was available and clean. The exterior of the building is in need of some repair... namely the hole in the roof of the covered drive up area and the loose bits of roofing that rattle in the wind. And, careful how you operate the faucet in the bathroom sink, else it begins leaking. December 4, 2014
