Stayed here for a wedding! Nice location. Convenient to shopping, pubs, etc.
Beds need new mattresses but had good linens and room was comfortable.
Staff was GREAT!

I think the hotel has a plumbing issue. After a nonfunctioning toilette in room 113 I was moved to room 332 and it was a little better. Hotel needs some work.
Also, I'm a American Express Black Centurion card holder which generally guarantees an automatic upgrade

While I was there such a short period, the check in staff late at night was incredibly kind and helpful, the entrance and room were clean and welcoming and I would recommend this property to others.

Barb . . . went out of her way to make sure our room was clean and made up, even after telling her that because we going to be late getting ready for the wedding, and we did not need anything.

I have stayed at several Holiday Inn Express hotels and found this place below average. I felt the price was inflated for the value received. The staff was helpful and able to move us to another room when the fan would not work on our heating unit. Our room was only minimally cleaned and the exercise equipment was more than lacking and very dirty. The location is barely a block from a wonderful bike trail and lots of shopping and eating, so location earns a plus. If management paid some careful attention to cleanliness, training of housekeeping, and having mechanical equipment functioning properly, this property could quickly escalate in its value.

Very convenient to I94 with lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The beds are comfy, rooms clean and the staff is very friendly.

The front desk staff is an example of what "customer service" used to be - they went well out of their way to accommodate me. The room was spotless and comfortable....the bed rivaled my bed at home. Two thumbs up for you guys!!!

Where to even start. The room had awful odor, there were cobwebs in the corner on the ceiling. The floor behind the bathroom door was dirty & gross. But I think the worst part of everything was that the shuttle bus NEVER came to transport the guests. This was arranged in advance and what even makes it worse is that the guy working the desk knew that there was not going to be transportation and never bothered to tell us. When we confronted him about it he said it wasn't his problem and that we should take it up with the manager. The fact that there were 14 people waiting for the shuttle that never came and the rude employee didn't think it was important enough to tell us is just awful ! I think I speak for all of us when I say never again !

the staff went out of their way to accommodate us at our stay. They were helpful in finding our way around. Addressed any comfort concerns, were polite, friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay there again.

This was our first time staying at Holiday Inn. The hotel was very clean and all of the staff were very helpful. The breakfast bar was great , a lot of choices (not the usual starch selection).
The lady over seeing the breakfast area was great. even when it was very busy, she kept everything very well stocked.
We would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express-Delafield. The rooms were great, very comfortable and lots of room. Breakfast was awesome, was expecting breakfast pastries, cereal was pleasantly surprised by Eggs, Sausage Gravy and Biscuits and Pancakes. We really appreciated the shuttle service that was provided to us to and from the Seven Seas for my nieces wedding. Keep up the good job.

I had to tell the two men "at ease" as they jumped up each time that door opened. Great service, great location as I wanted something quick and easy and Applebee's was right there. The room was nice too.

The staff at the Delafield Holiday Inn Express provided excellent customer service.
The ice machine on my floor was out of service when I tried to fill my small travel cooler the morning I left so when I inquired at the front desk where the next closest ice machine was, the staff didn't even hesitate before giving be a small bag of ice from their pantry freezer near the front desk. Any other hotel would have pointed me to the nearest ice machine (no matter how far away it was) and expected me to go fetch my ice.
Also, I had an early morning meeting that forced me to leave before the breakfast was scheduled to be available but before I left that morning, the breakfast staff already had the full breakfast ready so I was able to grab a bite before heading out to my meeting.
Great customer service!!!
I will be back!

The staff was wonderful and did a great job accommodating. The rooms were decent however the beds were uncomfortable for us and the pillows were not comfortable as well. We had 3 rooms total for the two nights and the A/C was poor in all rooms. We turned it down as far as it would go and it still was hot in the room. Also on the freeway side of the building it was noisy. The breakfast was good.

This holiday inn has been the best I have ever stayed at. Everyone was happy friendly and nice to be around. Helpful oh my! They were all fantastic.. to include Bridget who took care of breakfast nothing ran out she was cheerful and helpful. Many even helped me to find things of interest. The whole staff need a pat on the back!

I recently stayed at the HI Delefield because there was a group rate for a wedding that I was attending in the area. This property is very warn. The rooms not too clean, in particular the bathroom floors and walls needed a good wipe down! Air conditioning unit is the older model and was not very efficient. Fan did not operate very well. Both nights I was woken from a sound sleep by partying guests - my room was very close to the pool.

We have stayed at this hotel for the past 3 years while our son attended school nearby. Everyone is friendly & they recognize us when we return on each visit. Staff turn over has been minimal from what we have observed. Bridget, the lady who manages the breakfast area most mornings, does everything she can to make you feel welcome & meet your needs. The rooms are always clean & any requests have always been fulfilled. Since our son is moving out of the area, we will greatly miss the friends we have made and "our home away from home".

The management at Holiday Inn Express/Delafield worked very hard with me to ensure a very positive experience was enjoyed by a large group of relatives gathered for a recent out-of-town family celebration. Both management and staff went out of their way to focus on details of hospitality and accommodations, and went the extra mile to make our guests feel personally welcomed and assisted with unique travel needs. Special requests were cheerfully accommodated, including meeting the extra needs of disabled guests. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious; great having micros and refrigerators in many of the rooms too. GREAT breakfast and gathering space for friends and family to share special time together. Can't beat the "free breakfast".

My first stay here was my best hotel experience this year and exceeded my expectations in every way.
The staff provided helpful recommendations for local dining. Coffee and breakfast selections were fresh. The room was clean, quiet and well lit. Internet was reliable and the bed was comfortable.
This hotel has an agreement with the local anytime fitness to allow guests to utilize the club. Thank you for going through the extra effort to set this up and for my overwhelmingly positive experience! You have earned a loyal guest!

Overall it was a good stay, but the hotel staff should pay a little more attention to detail. The stairwells were not vacuumed well and the 3rd floor hallway had a strong bad oder. Our room smelled ok once we were inside. We stay at HIExpress often because my wife and kids like the pancakes. The pancake machine was down and it sounds like it had been down for a while. If you have a "signature" breakfast item, you should fix the machine and make sure that it is available. I will continue to stay at HIExpress locations in the future, but may choose to stay at a different one when in the Milwaukee area.

We have stayed in many hotels over the years and we felt this was one of the best bargains we've come across. We stayed during the holiday season and even that didn't elevate the price. It's very convenient to several restaurants and many stores. The lobby was cozy and inviting. Most importantly, the room was very clean and the bed was comfy. We will stay again being that we visit the area often.

First time to this location. I was traveling to see family over Thanksgiving.
I frequently stay at Holiday Inn Express's 30+ nights a year throughout the country and have to say this is the worst I've experienced in terms of both the facility and service since the refresh a couple of years ago.
The facility is a little tired. For example, I can't recall the last time I went to one without an automatic front door. Also the front door also serves as the employee smoking area which in and of itself wouldn't be bad if someone was actually staffing the front desk. In the breakfast area the pancake maker had a paper sign stating it was out of order.
Upon arrival there was no one at the desk and the phone was ringing off the hook. When finally someone arrived there was no recognition of my platinum status and I wasn't offered an upgrade. The room we received was adjacent to a noisy elevator. I did request a different room and was given another. Finally I requested a late check out, the latest they would do is 1. Usually as platinum my experience has been that 3 pm isn't a problem.
Now for the good it was close to shopping and cheap. To a certain degree I guess you get what you pay and the rooms were clean (ie didn't have to sleep on top of the covers), but this chain is usually consistent. I would put this location in the bottom 25% of the locations I have visited in terms of service.
