Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Indoor swimming pool and hot tub were ICE COLD Room was pretty clean; breakfast and staff were good; only complaint was that the indoor pool and hot tub were ICE COLD; we chose this hotel since it had indoor pool and hot tub which we were unable to use; after we took kids to swim and were going to relax in the hot tub; we discovered both the pool and hot tub were both ice cold; and then the staff put up a sign stating pool area is closed; very disappointing for the kids :( November 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent stay- highly recommend! I highly recommend staying at this Holiday Inn Express in Denton! Anyone who travels regularly knows that by the time you get to your hotel at night, you are tired and want to relax. The minute I stepped into the hotel all of the employees were extremely friendly and wanted to help. They had a manager's happy hour going on, which is always appreciated for those who don't want to leave the hotel again to find food. The whole time the general manager and the desk clerk (I can't remember his name to thank him, but he had short dark hair) were very personable and checked in to make sure you were satisfied and were happy with your stay so far. By far the best customer service I have seen in a Holiday Inn Express in a long time! Thank you! November 13, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Clean and Comfortable My room was on the second floor and there was no ice machine on that floor. I did not want to go to another floor to find ice. The room was rather dark...which was great for sleeping but not so great for trying to read and do work. Overall my stay was nice but wanted to let you know how you could improve the experience. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Respectable Room The room was surprisingly quiet for being next to an Interstate highway. Overall, the room was decent and met my needs. A couple of nuisance items were in the bathroom, but no deal-breakers. Before I got the room, the handle in shower must have come loose and been wrongly replaced because water was either hot or cold. I was able to re-position the handle so water could be adjusted to warm. Some grout was coming loose from bathroom floor tiles and there was a wet spot on carpet outside bathroom door when I first checked in. November 2, 2015
