Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Marvlous1 First time for everything! On the last day of vacation!
Upon check-in, we were coming in late which was no big deal. The gentleman at the desk that evening had tobacco in his lip while checking us in and this is very unprofessional as far as I am concerned. Then he didn't know what floor had ice on then. He said only the first floor did and after there was none available on that floor, I figured it out myself. We got in at eleven or so and planned on sleeping in, but someone knocked on our door at 8:45 and proceeded to open the door and woke all four of us up. This is not your standard holiday inn express!

Nice stay. Convenient location, clean, good breakfast. If in Dickinson for business, take a trip to Medora if possible for golf (Bully Pulpit was awesome) or the musical.

Only got confirmation for 1 room, when I reserved 2 and when I tried to call 2 days before the stay, the phone just rang and rang. I gave up after 10 minutes. I called the national number and didn't get much help from that person. We checked in late in the evening and the front desk guy was outside with his girlfriend. Got the keys for both rooms and went up only to find that the keys for one room didn't work. The next day after breakfast the keys again didn't work even though they worked the night before. One room had a unpleasant odor. Not impressed by this Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn in general right now.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CSS87 Nice place to stay but needs more plug ins
Everything was good about the room and the stay other than hotels need to add more electrical outlets by the beds. Unplugging the light or clock all the time gets frustrating.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Marty37681 very satisified
I normally spend 70 nights or so in hotels each year, from 5-star hotels in Asia to everyday stays in the US, so I have a pretty wide range of experience. I was very satisfied with the level of service, comfort and convenience of my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Dickinson. I'm very comfortable in recommending it.

When visiting Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Dickinson,ND I found the property to be very clean and well maintained. Also, the facility is convenient to services such as fuel, food, and the interstate. As I often travel for business, the fact that it was very quiet throughout my stay allowed me a peaceful night of sleep which, is extremely important to me.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ryan353535 Room without a view
I'm usually very satisfied with the Holiday Express brand. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with this location. My room (room 311# had a window on the third floor, however the view was of the pool #if you looked down#. If you looked straight out, you had a view of another wall. I noticed I had to have the lights on in the room during the day when I was working from my hotel room. I did not ask to be moved, but there should be an indication of the view when you secure the reservation. The room was clean, but it felt a little outdated when compared to other Holiday Inn Express locations. The faucet to the sink and shower wasn't on right #Hot = Cold, Cold = Hot). My last morning I didn't have water for about an hour and a half. This was water for the sink, shower, etc. They did have maintenance guys working on it and they got it fixed. When I checked in to the hotel, they only activated my hotel room card for one night, so I had to go to the front desk the next day when I returned. They do have vending machines, but not the standard snack pantry that are at most locations. Plus, the price was extrememly high. Most likely do to limited options for this area.
