Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 51 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed; great location The hotel is perfectly situated if you are going to or from the airport. However, the airport bus only picks up at Terminal 1 which is quite a walk (pulling your luggage) if you are arriving from (or departing from) Terminal 2 which we were. Therefore, we paid about 10 Euros for a taxi to take us from hotel to Terminal 2. Unless you have a car, there are not many dining options around the hotel (and this hotel has no evening dining available). However, the staff recommended a few places and we chose the Crown Plaza next door and ate in the pub (which I highly recommend.) The hotel's pricing is quite reasonable, and I would definitely stay here again. The complimentary breakfast was very good and opened at 6 a.m. to accommodate early departures. The room certainly meets the traveler's needs in every way. Staff at the hotel were very helpful (as we found all people in Ireland.). PERSONAL CONS: I did ask for a complimentary upgrade in recognition for Priority Club Membership, and front desk told me that rooms were "preassigned." and no upgrade was possible. When checking in I was asked if I wanted a "wakeup call" which I did, but I never got the call. A month earlier I advised Holiday Inn that I wanted my stay posted to my United Airlines account; however, when checking in to the Dublin hotel, they were unable to process the United Airlines number and told me to write directly to Holiday Inn. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent value The Holiday Inn Express is quiet, comfortable, conveniently near the Dublin airport with excellent shuttle service. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a perfect fit for an early morning flight. May 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice hotel While we were only there one night, we had a very nice experience. Staff was courtesy and very helpful. We will be traveling to Ireland again next year and we definitely be staying at this hotel. May 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Basic Hotel Rooms were very basic, but generally clean and sufficient. The bathroom was a bit small, and noise insulation in the rooms could have been a bit better. Breakfast was nice, and had a selection of pastries, yogurts, etc. The Crowne Plaza next door had a decent pub. There is a somewhat overpriced Italian place within walking distance. Hotel has a good bus shuttle service to/from the airport. A local bus also stops about 150 meters from the hotel. May 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for overnight layover I had an overnight layover in Dublin and needed a place to rest before continuing on. This hotel had a free shuttle that picked me up at the airport. I was able to easily follow the directions to the designated pick up location and took a short 10 minute ride to the hotel. The staff at the desk were warm and professional. My room was clean and had all the amenities I needed. The bed was comfortable and the temperature of the room good. Breakfast in the morning had a nice variety and the staff there were friendly as well. I was exhausted from my travels, needed a good nights rest, shower to clean up, and good food to keep me going. This was the perfect place to comfortably and easily get that. So glad I spent the money to stay here instead of the night in the airport. Would highly recommend to any friend and use again if I needed to. Thank you! May 16, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Staff and good location Great location and free shuttle to/from airport. Room was comfortable. Nice to have breakfast to start the day. May 14, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable beds and unfriendly staff I was surprised that non of staff members say "hello" or not even answer when I said it first. Not great customer service. Quality of hot food was disappointing but overall good choice. Rooms and beds were fine, clean and comfortable. May 11, 2013
