The Holiday Inn Express is quiet, comfortable, conveniently near the Dublin airport with excellent shuttle service. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is a perfect fit for an early morning flight.

While we were only there one night, we had a very nice experience. Staff was courtesy and very helpful. We will be traveling to Ireland again next year and we definitely be staying at this hotel.

Rooms were very basic, but generally clean and sufficient. The bathroom was a bit small, and noise insulation in the rooms could have been a bit better. Breakfast was nice, and had a selection of pastries, yogurts, etc. The Crowne Plaza next door had a decent pub. There is a somewhat overpriced Italian place within walking distance. Hotel has a good bus shuttle service to/from the airport. A local bus also stops about 150 meters from the hotel.

I had an overnight layover in Dublin and needed a place to rest before continuing on. This hotel had a free shuttle that picked me up at the airport. I was able to easily follow the directions to the designated pick up location and took a short 10 minute ride to the hotel. The staff at the desk were warm and professional. My room was clean and had all the amenities I needed. The bed was comfortable and the temperature of the room good. Breakfast in the morning had a nice variety and the staff there were friendly as well.
I was exhausted from my travels, needed a good nights rest, shower to clean up, and good food to keep me going. This was the perfect place to comfortably and easily get that. So glad I spent the money to stay here instead of the night in the airport. Would highly recommend to any friend and use again if I needed to. Thank you!

Great location and free shuttle to/from airport. Room was comfortable. Nice to have breakfast to start the day.

I was surprised that non of staff members say "hello" or not even answer when I said it first. Not great customer service.
Quality of hot food was disappointing but overall good choice.
Rooms and beds were fine, clean and comfortable.

Convenient location and nice hotel. the staff was quite good and helpful. Breakfast was good, the only downside if any, I would say was that you have to pay parking charges though the parking is quite conveniently located. Definitely visit again, if got the chance.

It is difficult to find the shuttle bus if it is the first time you arrive in Dublin. It took me 25 minutes to find the spot. Out from the terminal you need to go through a car park, go pass the coach park. After walk pass the church you will see another coach park. You will find the shuttle bus departing from this coach park, but you have to look carefully because the shuttle stops at any bay!
One of the biggest complain to me is, despite operating as an airport hotel, HIX Dublin did not make any provision for passenger departing on the early flight. I am talking about early breakfast. I depart at 6am and miss the breakfast as the service promise (as HIX advertise breakfast are always included). I think hotel management need to look into this and maybe provide a cup of coffee and a croissant for passenger depart from the hotel before 6am.
