Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel with Excellent Customer Service.. Spot On!! My family loved this hotel. good location from airport. They have everything which makes this hotel a great place to stay. Smiling staff, comfortable mattress, choice of pillows and most importantly it's clean and well looked after. you request for extra amenities they they will arrive to your room swiftly. I have stayed in many IHG hotels and not all hotel staff would recognise you as valued IHG member but this one did. both the times during check in and check out! dose make you feel special!! I did encounter a small billing issue which was dealt very efficiently by the Hotel Manager personally. Long story short, Great place to stay where the staff takes this place to a next level of excellent service. September 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good solid hotel. good service Great facility to have hotel transfers to the airport free of charge. Good breakfast arrangements especially for early starts. We had to leave even before breakfast but they still provide us with a bag breakfast which was very good in the circumstances. Didn't watch the TV much but is an old one an needs updating. From what I remember (again didn't see much) the channel selection was not fantastic but OK September 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The perfect one night stop Spent just one night passing through Dublin. The free airport shuttle was excellent for a free ride to the hotel. The hotel simply exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were so clean they must have just been remodeled. The staff was very friendly, the room was quiet, the bed comfortable, temperature control just fine, the free breakfast was an exceptional value, and the little Italian restaurant on the corner was a very good and reasonably priced meal. I only have good things to say about our stay here. Then the free shuttle the next morning got us back to the airport and on our way. Simply perfect. Thank you. September 3, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not equipped with a working bassinet My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn with our baby daughter. We tried to check in early but it was explained to us that there were no rooms available at the time so we checked in our bags and requested a queen/king bedroom if possible and a bassinet for the baby. Later that evening we checked in after exploring Dublin city. Unfortunately the request for the bed and bassinet had not been noted and we were left with a twin room with no bassinet. We requested a bassinet again for our room and one was brought up 30 mins later with no base to it. The lady who brought it up suggested putting pillows together and use those as a base. This is obviously not safe so we asked for another bassinet. This had now been 1.5 hr ordeal and we wanted to go to sleep as we had to be up at 5am to catch a flight. We eventually arranged something taking one piece from a bassinet and combining it with the other bassinet, we now had something that was relativley safe for the baby. We didn't get the rest we were after and we had never received service like this from a IHG service before. September 2, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Comfortable bed but very uncomfortable sofa bed. Room clean and comfortable for two guests. However, pull out sofa bed too small and uncomfortable for two older children, therefore overall sleep quality for a family poor, but would have been great for a couple. Extra bedding was delivered to the room very promptly on request. Takeaway breakfast was provided the morning of our flight, as we had to leave before the restaurant opened. On our return stay breakfast was more than adequate. We were able to park in hotel secure car park for the duration of our trip to Dublin/London for competitive daily cost of 6 Euro. Complimentary airport shuttle was great, short journey, very prompt, and with friendly driver. Overall good if you need a convenient place to stay before an early flight, or returning on a late flight. August 30, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Efficient but scaled down This facility, while efficient and providing all the basics for an overnight stay awaiting an airline flight, was not at the level of most Holiday Inn Expresses where we have stayed in the United States. In contrast, the service provided by the young woman at the desk exceeded what we have received at most Holiday Inn Expresses in the US, the breakfast was also outstanding and the WiFi worked well. The room was roughly comparable to a Fasthotel. (Very modular and prefab looking but old and worn.) The shower (no tub) provided a dispenser containing body wash and shampoo. The room had no alarm clock but they did offer a wake up call. The facility was adjacent to a Crown Plaza that appeared to be more of a full service facility. August 29, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by In transit We used the Hotel as a transit stop between our home and the Airport. The limited staff in which we had contact were efficient, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was poor. The menu showed sausages yet there were none and basically we left with a bowl of cereal and a Coffee. It was early so perhaps it had not been set out fully. The bus transfer service was excellent and the drivers friendly. August 29, 2014
