The staff were very friendly and helpful. The late night arrival cookies and apples were a pleasant treat. The cleanliness of the breakfast bar and variety of breakfast items were excellent. Appreciated the healthy choices.
Would have liked better lighting in the parking area. Arrived at 1 AM and almost didn't stop. It was a bit difficult to figure out how to get to the hotel from the main road.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by guru99 Comfortable Room and Very Caring Staff
From the time we first walked into the lobby, the staff was very polite and caring about our checkin and stay. The room was roomy and comfortable. Even had two desks for my wife and I. We also were very impressed with the breakfast variety and the staff that looked after it. Very attentive, organized and neat. We would recommend this facility any time and we plan to return very soon. Thanks Holiday Inn Express Everett.

I felt relax during my stay as I was attending a Safety Committee meeting. This required me to keep focus on the meeting as the staff attended to all my needs during my stay. Food was great and every staff member had a friendly smile.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MC139882 Lots of space, home comforts and not the typical hotel experience!!!!!
My favorite room is the 1 bedroom studio suite. There are many different hotels where a work area is placed next to the bed. This is not the case in a studio suite. The actual bedroom is seperated by french doors. In the bed room is its own TV with a DVD player. I have found very few hotels that offer a DVD player and a movie rental service. I like to be able to sit on a couch and watch TV without being in bed. Next to the living room TV is an ample sized desk with 2 chairs and numerous outlets. This is important for business travelers because we have a bunch of things that must be plugged in for work. Anyone that travels frequently has a personal system they go through when they get into a hotel room. Lets face it, no one wants to live out of a suit case but when it feels more like an appartment than a hotel room, its a big relief. There was also a fridge, microwave and great coffee. It is hard to plan for a late night snack or beverage if there is not a place to keep it cold. The bathroom was a good size with plently of towels and other essientials. The front desk also offers a "forgotten item" program where they can provide toothpaste and other things a person might forget at the last minute. It seemed like every pillow on the bed was just a little bit different. ie: softness vs. hardness. I want a soft pillow for my head backed up with something more firm. Plus, there was a total of 4 pillows on the bed and an extra 2 in the hall closet with an extra blanket. I hate having to call the front desk when there is something I need that is not already in my room. I never have to do that when I stay at a Holiday Inn Express. In my travels, I have paid twice as much for a room that compares to the studio suite. The Holiday Inn Express gets 2 thumbs up. I am always disapointed when I have to leave town on short notice and am unable to stay at one because they are booked. There is a reason they always have a high occupancy because this chain of hotels is always a first choice for a business travelers or someone that is just passing through town for the night. The Holiday Inn Express is not just a place to sleep. Its a place to rest, relax and in my case, get caught up on work for my next days meeting. They also have one of the best complementary breakfasts out there. You can eat something healthy like fruit, granola and yogurt or start it off with a cinnamon roll and some bisquits and gravy (my personal favorite). If you don't have time to sit and eat, they even have little bags lined up to grab that has a little bit of everything in it like fruit, a bottle of water and other great snacks. When leaving the breakfast area, the morning attendent made me take one just incase I got hungry or thirsty on the way to my meeting. THANK YOU! My stay is always more enjoyable when I get to stay at a Holliday Inn Express!
