Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Old Building and furnishing There was toothpaste on the bathroom faucet. There was also juice or something on the end table by the bed that I had to clean up. The building if quite old and there was something on the elevator buttons that didn't look clean. I would no recommend staying at this particular Holiday Inn Express. April 18, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bed and pillows extremely comfortable. Lovely facility. Comfortable room and bed was extremely nice. You had the "gosh I'm in my own bed" feeling. Do make sure and check to make sure milk in cooler for breakfast is cold. Was not that way when used for cereal. All the low fat milk was not good. Tried two cartons and same result for both. Mentioned this to front desk in hopes they would advise appropriate people. The person at the front desk apologized. April 16, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant Suprise I had not stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in several years. Not because of bad experience, but because I had found a Chain i liked little better. However on this trip I was pleasantly surprised at my experience with the Holiday Inn Express. My Family was on a one week vacation, Different City each night and Different hotel chain, To quote my children of 17 and 14, Bet Pool, Best Breakfast, and comfortable beds. The staff was really friendly at this location and Very helpful with direction all over town. Will stay again if I come to Flagstaff, and just might make a move back at other locations as well. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Totally Non Responsive The worst front desk experience that I have ever encountered. Made my reservations on line, got a confirmation, and arrived with the front desk telling me the reservations type did not matter. She stated that they were sold out of rooms and whatever type I reserved was irrelevant due to them being sold out. I asked why would I receive a confirmation number, she said it doesn't matter we are sold out. She said the only way to confirm a room there is to call them directly.......right! I called Guest Relations at HI Reservations about this and they stated the property would call me within 48 hours......5 days later still nothing from the property. I assume if your property is 100% of occupancy then you don't worry about anything for the time being except getting the money to the bank! April 9, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tiny Room! This hotel is conveniently located, was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I like. Free wi-fi, pool, free breakfast, exercise room, etc. The only thing wrong is the room was too small for my husband, son, and me. When one of us was sitting at the desk, no one could get past. There was no room between them and the foot of the bed! It would be a fine room for one person, maybe two at most. But they should not rent that room out to a party of 3 or more. April 4, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not all that great service Let me start by saying that Holiday Inn Express hotels are always my first preference and this is my second stay in Flagstaff. The first stay was great, this time not so good. The first full day we came back at approx 5.00 pm and found about 6 garbage bags piled about 7 feet from our door, we were in room 437, and the stench in the room was awful. On the second full day when we returned from the Grand Canyon we found more garbage outside our room and also found ourselves looked out of the room. Staff responded quickly and opened the room in about 15 min. The room had not been cleaned but we could live with that. However when my wife called the desk for some clean towels she was told there was no one to bring them to the room and she would have to come to the front desk to get them. She felt staff was short and not very caring. I realize everyone has a bad day once in awhile and I'm not saying I won't be back or I wouldn't recommend this hotel but I know you can do better. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Property I took the family on a get away to the snow and was very pleased with this property. My family loved it since we stayed at a less than desirable hotel last weekend in south of Flagstaff in Verde Valley. There is a covered drop zone to unload your luggage that was welcome since it was snowing. The lobby was amazing love the fireplace in the common area. I was hesitant of my stay when I saw the pool was filled with H.S. Students and assumed that they would be loud in the hallways. Well the room was quiet so I didnt hear anything. I did here a snow plow or two since I was on the highway side but that is way better than hearing the train on the otherside. Skipped breakfast, and went to denny's across the parking lot. Coffee was great downstairs and the staff was very outgoing and friendly. I will be back!!! February 12, 2013

Services visited to confirm if our room pleasing. Our express check-out was under our door the next morning and the breakfast was a treat. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent place to stay! In a medical emergency that required a hospital stay, H.I. Flagstaff came thru with a quaaiet comfortable place to wait out the emergency. Check in was prompt, great staff, clean, pleasant room and an adequate breakfast. Computer use was great for getting flights back home, flexible schedule for checking in, special hospital rate to help with the stress and finances and later check out were wonderful to make this emergency, doable! I hope they treat all customers, not just Platinum Priority menbers, the same. Thank you! February 11, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by boiler room noise We had a difficult tine sleeping all night because a boiler cept making a noise like an diesel eighteen wheeler. It woukld come on an run for about 30 minutes and then go off for maybe 15 minutes. I'v learned something about Holiday Inn's winter season. Don't get a room on the end of the hall.The boiler is under these rooms. Next time I reserve a room at a Holiday Inn I'll ask for a room in the middle of the motel.By the way, this also happen at the Holiday Inn in El Paso, Tx. February 10, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It's OK When I made the reservation I requested a King bed, ended up with two queen size beds. This made space tight to walk to the bathroom. The bed was somewhat hard and not up to the HIE standards. I was not greeted a Priority Club Platinum member, Overall it was OK, but needs to be updated. January 23, 2013
