Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Saw improvement in staff The hotel remains dark and gloomy. They are however remodeling the third floor. All guest put on two floors does have the noise level up. Seems in hotels most people only know how to close the door by letting it slam. The staff was friendlier and more helpful. So the pep talk seems to have work. December 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GLUTEN FREE BREAKFAST We were on a cross country move in a rental moving truck. This hotel was a very welcome and restful place to stay. The staff was very courteous. Rooms were very clean. WE were pleasantly surprised that a Holiday Inn in the middle of west Texas has a Gluten Free Breakfast. This made my wife very happy. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bad Hotel The hotel is dark and dreary. Saturday morning the breakfast bar ran out of regular coffee. No one could be found to ask for more. Saturday evening sign on front desk said staff would return shortly. I understand they sometimes have to take something to a guest room. However, not good when you can hear them talking behind the partition. Sunday morning I came down to load the car at about 0610. The breakfast area was dark. I said to the young man behind the desk "doesn't breakfast start at 0600?" He just nodded at me. After breakfast I was leaving and the young man was still standing behind the desk with his arms folded. I dropped my key cards on the desk and said there you go. The young man never spoke. No thank you, have a good day or hi, bye bite me The only reason I will be back is to get bonus point being offered for Saturday stay and this is the only city I stay in on Saturday. After I get my points I will be down the street. November 22, 2014
