We always choose Holiday Inn Express facilities when we travel. We have never had a negative experience until this stay. Firstly, the hotel is under renovation and this was not communicated to us when we made reservations. The crew doing the renovations was extremely friendly and accommodating and there was little noise or mess. However, the dust and chemicals used and created during renovation did hang in the air and caused sinus and allergy issues. I would assume this would be a serious issue for an asthma sufferer. It did affect the quality of our stay and I believe this should have been mentioned at the time of booking. Additionally, the rates for this hotel should be significantly decreased during the renovation period. As a government employee who has traveled and stayed at many of these facilities, the amenities and service just did not justify the rate I paid. If ever traveling to Grapevine, TX in the future, I would choose another of the many hotels in the area to stay.

I had reserved a room with two queen beds two weeks from our date of arrival. When my husband and I arrived, we did not have a double, even thought the desk had that as our request. Something about renovations on the third floor, which they would have know about when I called. We ended up with a king and a sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable. Were offered what we wanted the second night, but didn't want to repack to move. Didn't understand why our request was confirmed, but was not available when we arrived.

Liked the location and was close to restaurant's. The Amenities were clean and well maintained and staff friendly and helpful.

I attended a wedding in June 2014. I paid cash for my room. I used my debit card for a hold for incidentals. I checked out on 6/16/14. I noticed a charged $50.00 to my debit card (I don't use credit cards). They stated it was to cover any additional charges that I may charge to my room. I charged nothing to the room. I called twice and the days to receive the credit back kept changing. It is now July 24 and still no credit back to my bank account.

Have stayed here the last four times we flew to Cancun for vacation. Check in/out is always a breeze. We book parking with global airport parking, drop off the car the night before our trip and leave the next morning. We have never had any issues with security in this area. Would highly recommend this property.

The shuttle stopped offering rides in the shuttle except to airport and CAE (business). There are great places, mall, food, etc. that they would take us to in the past as long as it was within reason. Now, they will not take you anywhere.

I have stayed at several grapevine hotels and this one was the best so far. The shuttle driver and front desk girl were both very nice and really helped me out alot.
I will be back again.

All employees were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in the process of renovating the guest rooms and I did not experience any Interruptions because of this. TV didn't work at check-in but was fixed immediately by a very nice maintenance man.

This hotel is overpriced for what you get. I've stayed in nice Holiday Inn Express hotels, but this one definitely needs renovating. We checked in late and the lady at the front desk was very friendly. We made reservations for the shuttle to the airport in the morning before heading to our room. The elevator had sheets hanging up and our room was in poor condition. There was a wall unit that did not cool the room down, so we slept in a humid, sticky room. The next morning we had to wait to get on the shuttle along with seven other people in a small van. We literally had bags in our laps to all fit in. Once we returned from our trip, I called to schedule the shuttle to pick us up, and they informed me I had to call back once I claimed my luggage. We got our luggage and I called at 8:50pm. She told me the van would leave at 9, so we waited out front for 40 minutes and were crammed in again with the same group coming. I think this hotel was overpriced for the quality and needs to work on the shuttle service.

This property was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and most of all the staff was willing to help me out when i needed a late night shuttle ride from the DFW Airport rental car return.

First off, I found it to be quite a pain to actually get to the hotel. My GPS could not locate it properly and we made a couple of loops around it before arriving. However, the hotel itself was very relaxing and the staff were top-notch. There was construction going on during our stay and as a result, the vending machine room didn't exist since it was now the lobby. The staff noticed that I couldn't buy water and offered complimentary bottles as needed during our stay to make up for the short-coming.
I'd definitely recommend this hotel but make sure that you know how to get to it beforehand.

Our room, especially the bathroom, was very much in need of renovation. They were working on one area of the hotel when we were there. I am not sure I would go back if it were to stay in the condition it was in when were there over the July 4, weekend.

The shuttle waited for us even though we needed to check on our luggage that did not make it. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very professional. Breakfast was hot with an excellent variety. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area!

I wanted to thank the staff for taking such great care of us that evening. Our flight was cancelled after being delayed three times. Considering the time of day, we were nervous we would have to sleep at the airport. When I called this hotel, the woman who answered was so nice and almost calming as we were panicked to hear from American Airlines moments ago we would have to adjust all of our reservations we had made for San Angelo originally for that evening. When I asked if there was a shuttle to the hotel, she said yes and that she would leave right away to get us. She must’ve because she showed up right as we came down the escalator. She offered us water and was so friendly. It was a relief to know we were in great hands. This experience made me proud to be a Priority Member. The next morning, the shuttle took us back to the airport and was ready to go when we came down from our rooms.
Thank you so much for relieving what began as a very stressful travel experience!

Had a great stay, the breakfast food was really good, Rosa was an excellent attendant my room was very clean and drivers were very pleasant as well, enjoyed the hot tub very relaxing.

rooms are muggy hot with no way to dehumidiy; we had a large block of rooms and everyone had the same complaint. drippy bath faucet and broken hot tub. not what we expected for a vacation!

That day Delta canceled my flight and I was understandable upset. The front desk was great, the van showed up quickly, and being a platinum member they upgraded me to a very nice room at the end of the hall which is where the quietest rooms are. Many thanks to all at DFW-Grapevine.

When one person makes you feel uncomfortable, it can spoil the whole experience. That's what happened at the Holiday Inn/Grapevine. Most of our stay was good, but when one person acts so unconcerned and indifferent. it can ruin the best of stays anywhere. I'll remain a cunstomer of Holiday Inn Express and will continue to seek out friendly accomodations. Most staff is very good, but as I said, one person, one experience kind of turns you off.
