Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible customer service I stayed here on Dec 27th and 28th. The room was standard and was clean. The internet was very unreliable, so I called the front desk and was told he would take care of this issue. After an Hour I called back and was told he was having issues as well and he would have to call soomeone to help and would call me back when the service was back up, never recieved the call. So,First night no internet so n work could get done. SO I went to bed, was woke up at 5AM by hotel staff in the hall was yelling and laughing. I alsowoke up with back pain from the lumpy bed. I actually pulled the sheets back to make sure there was a mattress and not just the box springs. After getting dressed and breakfast, which was ok, I went to the front desk to talk to customer sewrvice, no one there. Waited for 5 minutes or so, no one came. So I left the key on the front desk and went on to work, with no intention of coming back. I called teh hotel a few hour later and told the front desk about my experience and was gvien the normal line of "we will make it right" and will make sure I would get my points refunded to me. I waited for 1 month with nothing be refunded back to my account, so I called and talked to the General manager. After some invetigating on her part she told me her staff couldnt remember any issues for that night and there were no internet issues logged. She did refund half my points. At this point I'm kinda agry at the insinuation that I am lying about the situation. SO, As for me, I do not have to stay at any IHG hotes. No issues here. February 2, 2016

Every interaction I had with the staff was great. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and willing to help, from the front desk to the breakfast staff. January 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The blizzard of 2016 My daughter and I came in on January 22 and were stuck until the 24th due to blizzard conditions. In addition to the comfortable rooms, good breakfast, and generally quiet facility that we had experienced before, we were just so impressed with the dedication of the staff. Quite a few were stuck there because others could not get there to work---and yet, everyone there was upbeat, kind, and helpful. Each and every staff member we encountered was a credit to their profession---we could not have had a better experience being "stuck" anywhere. Since my daughter will be attending college nearby, I am happy to have found my "home away from home"!! January 26, 2016

I was in a 4 Star Hotel in Dec 2015 in Times Square and a 4.5 Star hotel in Seattle in Jan 2016 and the customer service at the Holiday Inn Express was more like staying with family. We arrived at the RDU Airport after the big snow storm 2016 and were trying to get home but the roads were too icy so we pulled over and stayed at this hotel. We arrived and the front desk person was so happy to see us arrive safely because of all the accidents that had occurred earlier that day. She was so friendly it was like going to my sister's house. We enjoyed the clean room, free breakfast and nice bed, it was all wonderful. We decided to check out the next day and the hotel staff was so concerned for our safety because the news advised everyone to stay off the roads if possible, they gave us a case of water and 3 blankets just incase we got stuck in the snow. I felt like my mom was sending me off with love and good wishes of a safe return home. I have never felt that level of concern and care and probably never will again. I can not say enough good things about the hotel, and it staff to really do them justice but I wanted them to know that we really appreciate that warm fuzzy feeling they gave us. On a scale of 1-10 they would get a 20!!! January 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel stay We have stayed at this facility several times and enjoyed each visit. It is very convenient to the interstate, shopping and many restaurants. The breakfast bar is outstanding with many choices of teas - key note is that one only gets "free" breakfast at Holiday Inn Express facilities, which this is one. We will continue to use this hotel, as the value is excellent and staff is outstanding. January 22, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable and great for the price This was my first stay at this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the very nice accommodations. My room was very comfortable and roomy. I had a Keurig, refrigerator and microwave in my room which was very nice. The complimentary toiletry items are Bath and Body Works shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. That is a very nice touch. The heat/AC is on a thermostat which is tied into the old style of unit at the window. I had a difficult time regulating the temperature. Other than that, everything was very nice. I will be staying at this hotel again when I am in Greensboro on business. January 16, 2016
