we really enjoyed our stay....the service was friendly, they accomodated our hanicpped needs right on the spot! The pool was excellent temperature for our evening. Love the shower head!

Overall appearence of the hotel was fair. All exterior places besides the rooms were decorated tastefully. Interior of the rooms were extremely poor. We found blood on our sheets when they were pulled back. Room was a handicapp room that (even though we were not handicap) did not meet standard codes shower was to high and shower nossle was broken ( I know this because it is required for me to know the federal handicap acces. guidelines). The tile in bathroom was cracked and peices of grout were exposed for my toddler to pick up. Also, coffee pot was placed on the lower bench and could not be used due to a toddler in the room. The port-a-crib had rust in the corners and the sheets were stained. Overall cleanliness of the room was poor. My credit card was charged and had to go down to the front desk 2 times to get issue corrected. When asked to change rooms that we had reserved at least a week in advance was told "no" due to a meeting going on at that time and room availability was limited. Why were we given a handicapp room if not request especially being rewards members? Will not go back to that specific Holiday Inn exspress again.

Would recommend with reservation. This is not one of the better Holiday Inn Express properties.
The room was OK - minimum standards including cleanliness. Had to get soap from Front Desk. Very busy place and very loud - even on the third floor at 11:00 at night! Hallways and floors in public spaces were a mess.
Only one person working the breakfast bar on a very busy Sunday morning - I felt sorry for her - she really tried her best and did very well, considering she did not have any help.
At check out, we had to wait for the desk person to come in from her cigarette break. And to be really picky, our Gold Priority Status was not recognized at any point in our stay.

We made an unplanned stop in Greenwood due to an ice storm. The front desk staff was very accommodating and quickly got us set up in a room. The room was very clean and up to date. I really enjoyed finding bacon on the breakfast bar as most only have sausage links. The breakfast bar was well stocked the entire time I was eating. The only con about our stay was that there was no soap in the room but the front desk was able to fix that once I notified them of the problem. I would recommend Holiday Inn Express-Greenwood to everyone.

We were there on a very cold night, about +9F during the night. It was Jan 2, 2013, and there were only 6 others in the hotel. The desk clerk tried to make it nice for us by giving us a non-smoking king on the first floor. Apparently he didn't know about the noisy room heater. The room was cold when we went in, and when I turned the heater on (thru the wall type) there was lots of high pitched repetitive type noises along with the normal heater/fan noise. We thought we might see if it "settled down", however, after about 10 minutes of no change, I went to the front desk, explained the issue (different desk clerk), and immediately was told we could sleep in the room across the hall that was identical, but with a newer heater. We could even leave our stuff in the original room if we didn't want to move it. Before any decisions were made, I turned the heater on and found it very normal, so we moved our things and settled in. We were ready for breakfast about 8:30 and found NO CINNAMON ROLLS??? Stopped a little down the road and got breakfast.....

I have been staying at this Holiday Inn for a couple of years now and wanted to give this motel a high rating. They always go out of the way to accomodate my needs. One time I did have a very poor customer service person, only to find out he had been let go by the time I actually stayed at the motel. I think it is managed very well. The breakfast is good for a complimentary deal. They have biscuits, gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage, freshly made pancakes, an assortment of cereals (both hot and cold), fruit, pastries, bagels, toast, yogurt, 3-4 juice selections, hot tea, hot chocolate, coffee and my personal favorite the cinnamon rolls! Try getting all this anywhere else for free, The rooms are always clean and on the few occasions I needed an upgrade, they have complied with my request. Nice place to stay or as I refer to it, "my home away from home".

I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH EVERYTHING. I WAS IMPRESSED AS SOON AS I WALKED IN TO THE LOBBY. THE LOOK AND STYLE AS WELL AS THE SMELL WAS GOOD. THE COMPLIMENTARY COOKIES WERE A PLUS FOR THE KIDS AND ME. SERVICE WAS GOOD. THE ROOMS WERE VERY SPACIOUS AND CLEAN. I WANT TO SAY AGAIN SPACIOUS AND CLEAN. BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT WITH CHOICES AND A FRIENDLY STAFF KEEPING IT ALL FULL AND CLEAN. GREAT PLACE TO STAY! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK IF WE GET ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY. LOCATION IS STILL O.K. TO DOWNTOWN. I WAS BY LUCAS STADIUM IN 10-15 MINUTES.

When we arrived they did not have the room we requested. They said they went off our profile and not what we asked for. We were then put in a handicap room which had a shower in it and I was unable to keep the shower head from falling down. We were asked to sign a paper to be quiet after certain hours. What a joke! At 6:00 a.m. there were girls walking back and for talking and laughing. Kids running up and down the hall. I thought the noise would go away, but it continued to get worse. I left this property simply exhausted. There was a family reunion or something because the breakfast area was packed and they were going the same place. Instead of eating and allowing others to sit down they just stayed, so it was hard to find a spot to sit.
