Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Checkout time As a group we were a little disappointed with the lack of flexibility offered by the front desk on 2/23/14. We were in town for hockey games (several families). One game early am and one mid afternoon. We simply asked for a 12:30 exception to better accommodate our schedules and were denied. When you travel all winter it is the little things that make a difference, some positive, some negative. February 26, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Shopworn and cluttered The ground outside the main entrance was carpeted with cigarette butts. Inside is cluttered. I know they are remodeling, but they don't have to have construction clutter stacked everywhere. The remodeling is at least 5 years overdue and I might say 10. All the furniture in our room was very beat up and worn. I use a computer monitor that is bigger than the TV in our room. Cleanliness was good, but the room was overall shabby. Basically, organized, neat and tidy is not a priority here. I might try it again in a couple years after the remodeling is done. Not what I expect from HI Express. February 23, 2014

We would highly recommend this hotel. We checked other hotels in the area, this is by far the nicest hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. February 5, 2014

Have not stayed there and the girl at the counter was not very friendly when I asked about it she acted like she did not have time to talk and just wanted to go back be hind the wall January 15, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location and great service Breakfast offerings could be better. Bread, etc. not always fresh. Eggs were not too good. It would be nice to have offering of hash or quiche as a choice. Mattress pads wrinkle and become uncomfortable. There are newer ones on the market that fit the bed like fitted sheets which stay in place better. Sheets were old and dingy. January 2, 2014
