Requiring a room for a single night, I booked this hotel via telephone minutes before arriving. On arrival I was greeted professionally by the reception staff who had full details of my reservation to hand.
The food in the bar was easily the equal of other hotels where I have stayed, possibly better, and the breakfast was also of good quality with plenty of choice.
The room was comfortable, quiet and well maintained with free wi-fi throughout the hotel.
Although it is possible to stay locally for less, I would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel should I need to stay in the area in the future.
Overall a very pleasant experience, which made the necessity to be away from home a little easier.

Another excellent hotel, there is plenty of parking which is one less thing to worry about, the reception and breakfast area are fantastic too.
The reception staff are very welcoming, and always happy to help with even the littlest of requests.
The rooms here are a very good size, and immaculate too.
I've been using Lenny Henry's favourite for years, and now I only book IHG Hotels now, so far they've been consistently better quality, and better priced. It's a no-brainer.

In the middle of an industrial estate, but next to a steak house, so it doesn't really matter.

Very friendly and helpful staff. made everything simple and stress free, quick to help and seem genuine.
only query was the breakfast...lots of variety to suit everyone. only problem (and i am nit picking) is there was no bacon...to be fair we may have been late for it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by InternationalGeoff Great location, excellent value and very dog freindly
My wife and I just spent two nights here with our little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We used the hotel as a base to follow in the footsteps of Richard III and visit Leicester, Bosworth Battlefield and Fotheringhay village and castle. The hotel appealed because it was dog friendly. We chose this hotel over the Holiday Inn in the centre of Leicester which was also dog friendly because that lacked green space and also parking was an issue.
Right from the start the 3 of us were made to feel very welcome and any issue (wifi access) was quickly resolved. We were conveniently located on the Ground floor. In the surrounding area there was plenty of open space and footpaths to exercise your dogs both the formal lawns and the more rough terrain behind the hotel. We did find a super pub about 15 minutes away that accepted dogs, but after a tiring day touring it was great to make use of a take away that was delivered to the hotel and the staff even provided plates and cutlery (and even an extra chair so we could eat at the desk in the room.
The breakfast (included in the price) was good with a reasonable choice. I also liked the ice machine which came in handy chilling drinks.
If all Holiday Inn Expresses are like this we will definitely do again. For convenience, location and all round experience we were very satisfied. The staff went out of their way and special mention to Debbie on reception who was very helpful and friendly!

The staff are always very friendly and check in and out is very quick. Rooms are quiet and clean. Have stayed here several times and the only thing I would comment on is that it is quite expensive.
