The hotel was very nice.
The breakfast room staff was FABULOUS!
The hotel was priced way above other hotels. I was assured it was because their amenities were better. However, it was just a standard hotel, with a broken treadmill.
There is an IHOP in the same parking lot, a gas station across the street and an LDS church down the street. It's a good location.
As in other Holiday Inns, I've NEVER been recognized as a Priority Club member.
If the price was better, I would stay there again. Instead, I'll try the equally new chain across the highway.

This was a very good stay here at the kingsville location, i was very pleased with the staff...... The manager Jose was nice enough to work with my other employee that was staying there and found room for me to stay when they were totally booked full... very clean property inside and out.... highly recomended stay when in kingsville and we will be returning next month for more work down there ...

I stayed at this hotel during the Spring Break. I attended a conference in nearby Robstown for the week and this hotel was one of the few not fully booked. For some reason the Fox News channel was blocked from my TV which was curious. When I asked the clerk she said it must be the cable company but she would check into it. REALLY!
*The shower head was so corroded the water would not spray.
*The room smells like there was sour milk on the carpet. With the inability to move elsewhere I found that by turning the ac to very cold, the odor dimished.
*The breakfast cereal was stale.
*I made 4 trips to speak with desk staff personally by there was never anyone there until the morning I checked out. I will still use Holiday Inn Express, and this was the only bad experience from many stays, but I left with the commitment to stay away from this particular hotel in the future.

I thank the Staff and Service at Kingsville Holiday Inn. I travel for my work and being in this area has been made a pleasure by the personable, professional and accomodating staff and comfortable rooms, impeccable service of this hotel. The Naval Air Station is nearby, so the sound of planes overhead can get to be a nuicance, however I have never lost a minutes sleep and felt completely safe on each of my trips.

My most recent stay was much better than the one before. The only repeat issue was that the TV remote, again, did not work when I got to my room. It was late so once again I dropped it off at the desk the next morning and requested that they have one that works in the room when I return that afternoon. When I returned the working remote was in the room and there was no more issues during my stay.

The only complain that I have is that I wanted a room on the first floor that was a handicap room ,which I know was available, due to the fact that my husband was in a wheel chair and hard to maneuver up and down the elevator. Handicap rooms should all be located on the main floor,because of this . When I made my reservation ,I specifically ask for one and was told that would be no problem,but when I check in , I was told it had to be up on the 3rd floor. Was not very happy about this.,since the hotel was not full . To top it off,the room we got was all the way to the end of the hallway. Also if we didn't have a discount,we would have stayed somewhere else. Hotel is too expensive for a small town like Kingsville. I would only recommend this property if willing to pay high rate.

My mom and I stayed here while my dad was in the hospital. Overall our stay was good with the exception of housekeeping. The beds were made daily and fresh towels were left but that's about it. There was no cleaning done. The front desk was extremely helpful and accomodating and friendly.
