I can't say enough about the Lawrence Holiday Inn Express on Iowa St. I visit Lawrence for work and stay for a week at a time. I can think of everything good to comment on, not one thing to say negative.
All of the staff gives excellent customer service, isn't that what we want? They will learn your name, what you like's and dislike's are. Basically, they take on your routine. I wouldn't even think about staying somewhere else.
It's in a convenient part of town for me. Close to a gym I'm a member of, a movie theatre is right behind the hotel, all kinds of eating establishments nearby. Close to my work.........I could go on forever.
I'm hooked on the Holiday Inn Express in Lawrence, Ks on Iowa St.

My son is a student @ KU, & we routinely stay @ this location when moving him in/out of school & also when attending athletic events on campus. It is our first choice for lodging in Lawrence d/t value, cleanliness & great location for shopping for a college student's needs. We have stayed in 3 other hotels in Lawrence, however once we discovered Holiday Inn Express, it became our first choice. I have already booked this location for 3 future upcoming stays.

The staff at the Holiday Inn Express in Lawrence, KS were professional and extemely accomodating. The extra care that they took to ensure our satisfaction made a stressful trip, due to a family emergency,more easy to bare. Thank you, and we look forward to coming back under happier circumstances.

This hotel is probably Lawrence's furthest from the Interstate, but the staff went out of their way to make it worth it. The woman at the check-in desk was very cheerful and helpful, which was nice after a long day of driving. The public areas of the hotel looked quite nice and clean, as did the room we were given. It was nice that there was a pool, although no one in our family brought swimming suits to use it. The workout room was tiny, but usable, with two treadmills and a bike. Everything looked very well-maintained.
The breakfast was good, with lots of hot food (biscuits/gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs, and pancakes you can make yourself), and the woman in charge of the breakfast was the most attentive I've ever seen at one of these self-serve hotel breakfasts - she kept everything clean, cleared and fully-stocked, all the while being helpful and friendly to the guests! Rare and amazing...
We liked this place enough that we decided to stay there on the way back from our Christmas visit to Grandma's and Grandpa's as well.
Also, the hotel is located near many restaurants and even a Cineplex, so entertainment and food are all near at hand.

I travel a lot for work and stay in many hotels, but I stay at this hotel every time I'm in the Lawrence area, where my company is based. The staff is always very nice. The rooms and overall property are very clean. The "gym" is a little limited, but considering the space available, it is a great offering in addition to the pool and hot tub. Without exception, I forget something when I'm staying there and the front desk is always able to help provide me the toothpaste or shaving cream, or direct me to where I can find whatever else I need. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone for work or vacation and look forward to staying there again soon.

Location is close to many shops, eating areas and a theater.

I really enjoy staying at this Hotel. I make 5-6 trips a year to Lawrence for business and I will ALWAYS stay here. Breakfast is nice and the hotel is clean. Also being next to a movie theater is always a plus as well.

I stayed in this Hotel for a special event. Nice and clean. Bed is comfortable. Free breakfast is a plus. It is an "express", but the price is not cheap. But this is definitely one of the best hotels in Lawrence.
