Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Room fine Breakfast terrible As holiday inn expresses go. This is one of the poorer ones, the building and lifts are rather "tired". Although the rooms are fine. The staff great, the breakfasts are terrible with poor scrambled egg that you can pour, as well as disgusting sub standard sausages, unlike Glasgow or Rotherham who have a much better standard of breakfast December 16, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet Hotel with Friendly Staff I had originally chosen this hotel due to the room availability was not disappointed. The overall small size of the hotel kept things quiet, with no large parties to create noise. Several other coworkers stayed at the Holiday Inn and were consistently woken up with noise from the parties down stairs. The staff at this hotel was very friendly, offering me directions to local restaurants and assisting me with any issues that arose during my stay, including the need to extend my stay. The free breakfast was an added bonus, although a bit small. If I return to the area, I'll stay here again for sure. December 15, 2014
