Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great headquarter to discover London with kids (9+13) Underground: 5 minutes walk and very well comunicated. No restaurant for dinner, but open to delivery service or take away (Italian, Indian, MacDonalds, Subway, Fish&Chips etc) with all the needed accesories provided by the hotel. Very international team being helpfull at all time. Luggage storage. Breakfast quite poor and repetitive, hardly any fruit. But all together a good price/quality proportion. The Hotel Manager at least has the motivation and profesionality to answer all comments and critics that we users post. July 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Met our needs for a short family break We stayed in the hotel with our 3 and 6 year old children and just needed a base from which to explore London. We visited the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and central London. We found the location good for accessing all the areas we wanted to visit and we found the hotel met our needs well. The room was clean and there was adequate room for our clothes and to relax for an hour or so in the evening. The breakfast choice was good with a range of options and the quality of the food was good. We avoided the busy times (8.30 onwards on weekend days) getting up in time to avoid the queue for the buffet. We would use the hotel again in the future. The kids were happy with the hotel. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by West Kensignton is the closed tube station Approximately 6-8 min. walking distance from West Kensington tube station. There is a Tesco Express near the hotel and shops, Kebab, Fish & Chips, burger, are in 2-3 min. distance. Hotel is clean, no amenity so please bring it with you, and breakfast comes with stay and it's quality is good. Restaurant area is well maintained. Requested to keep luggages at the time of the check-out, when you come back to pick it up, you are escorted to the storage and you yourself need to go into the storage room and pick it up. Requested to book a cab, expected to book a meter cab, but seemed an executive cab (no meter) by default. Would appreciated if a hotel clerk asks before booking a cab. Recognized as a priority club platinum member at the time of check-in, internet access was free as I was the priority club member. June 15, 2013

Hotel is clean, staff are friendly and efficient, but, I am starting to wonder if hotel is value for money now though, as prices seem to be creeping up, Hotel is situated quite a distance from the city centre, but I am finding that you can stay in the centre for less! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for a City-Trip We stayed in the Holiday Inn Express Earl´s Court for 3 nights and it was perfect. We had one room for 2 adults and 2 children and enjoyed the stay. The breakfast was really great for a London Hotel and the situation between the undergroundstation West Kensington and West Brompton was perfect for a City-Trip. Also you can walk in around 15 minutes to FC Chelsea or take the bus, leaving right in front of the hotel. If we will come back to London, we will choose the hotel again. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible The staff was very friendly and helpful when we got there. When I booked online it originally said that there was wifi in the rooms, and airport shuttle to the hotel. I emailed to ask about the details after we booked the hotel and it said that there was no shuttle. Ok, that is fine. I understand, we will take a taxi. I picked the room I wanted and booked the hotel. I email to just confirm and they say the room is only for 2 people not 3, well how is that possible I booked it for 3. The room I picked was not for 3 people and it only put 2 in the room and they were going to charge me for the 3rd person because they would have to put us in another room. I picked this hotel because of the price and all the things that they offered. I email back saying that I am confused and this is not what I booked and they said that they will charge me for the extra person and I can not cancel my reservation without being charged because I booked online. How else do people book hotels anymore. I could have called but the beauty of booking online I do not have to hassel with anyone else. We get there and I am charged for the 3 people and I still do not get moved into a bigger room. It is the same room I booked just with a bigger charge. The wifi they offered was only in the lobby. Also, our room key kept not working, we had to constantly get new keys. I travel all over the world and continental U.S and almost always stay at Holiday Inns or some division of them and this was the worst experience. I am so disappointed and will never stay in a Holiday Inn again. I could have stayed at a nicer hotel closer to what my friends and I were doing for the price we paid for this horrible room. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Right place at the right time HIE Earls Court was the perfect place for our circumstance. First time vsitors from Australia with a daughter living just down the road in somewhat squalid circumstance - common enough in rented flats in Fulham. The location was perfect for us. Tube station nearby allowed quick and ready access to places of interest in London, andavoided the horrendous traffic jams we saw around us. Perfect for people travelling from Heathrow as we didn't have to change trains. The staff were so accomodating to our need for somewhere to leave our luggage and to hang out in the rather grim weather we encountered. Congratulations to you all. We promply booked other HIE hotels for the rest of our journey. Six Aussies in the big smoke!! May 26, 2013

The rooms are very clean, exactly like we expected in basis of the photos we saw in the internet. The next underground station is only a few minutes to walk. My friend and myself always choose to stay here for 3 nights when we come to London on weekend breaks from our busy lives and simply cannot fault this hotel. This time we stayed in the new wing (separated from main hotel building by small side road) which was absolutely fine. I did notice this new wing could do with a vending machine though as I could not find one (only an ice machine) so I had to run over to the main building early hours of the morning in my PJ's, past guests in the seating area to the vending machine at the far end of the main building, so one at the new wing end as it had before would be a good addition. We do miss the lovely outside garden patio area it used to have which has now become part of the indoor dining area but this is understandable as you can easily find a seat now and not as chaotic as it could be before. Overall we love this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone considering making a booking, it is so clean, the staff are just brilliant, breakfast choice is excellent and we look forward to returning later in the year. The hotel was crowded with guests from all over Europe but the staff was very friendly and efficient. I was traveling with my wife and two teenage daughters and we all stayed in one room with my daughters sleeping on a convertible sofa bed. This bed was adequate but could have been more comfortable. Should be just fine for younger kids but I wouldn't recommend this situation for any youth over 14. The included breakfast had a good variety but they ran out of a few items after the weekend rush. This hotel is in a great location on London's west side, less than 10 min walk from two stations on the District tube line; West Kensington and West Brompton. The two local restaurants we sampled in the area were very good, especially "The Lily", an Indian restaurant just around the corner. Overall, a very pleasant stay. May 14, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff and good location I always try to book with Holiday Inn/express whenever I can because I know that they are a reliable hotel group.This lived up to expectations and was a great location for the centre of London. Fantastic helpful reception staff they assisted us with details of bus transport to Marble Arch and where our Oyster cards could be topped up. Nothing was too much trouble. It was necessary for us to park at the hotel which bumped up our bill but the parking area was fenced in and security controlled so it was pleasing to know. The staff also forewarned us about the peak breakfast time period which helped! May 12, 2013

Te staff were a little dis-organised as an elite priority member. i expected my reservation to be pre-made but they couldn't even find me on the system. They even asked me to fill out a new form to become a priority club card holder and what benefits this could bring me. There was a lot of fuss as to how this mistake could have happened etc.. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent deal My partner and I had booked our stay with fairly short notice in order to watch the London Marathon. Despite the short notice booking, we got a really good deal. Room was very clean and comfy - only downside was a humming noise in the background - possibly from the aircon. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us printed versions of the marathon route map. The hotel is in good reach of Earls Court and West Bromley tube stations. City Centre in easy reach by tube. I would recommend this hotel to everyone due to fantastic service and value for money. My partner and I have already decided that we would like to go back again to the same hotel soon. This time for relaxation without the need to rush out in the morning to watch a marathon! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Family stay When all you really want is a place to sleep after a busy day exploring the sights in London, the hotel provided almost the perfect solution. Staff were welcoming and we didn't feel as though having young children with us was an imposition. The inclusion of breakfast was the bonus - a rarity in London hotels, but extremely welcome as it removed the need to pay extra and/or to find somewhere else close by. Improvements that could be made are specifically in relation to family stays. Whilst the ideal temporary solution, small sofa beds are not always best for families. We would have preferred to have seen 2 proper doubles or even 1 double with 2 singles. And the bathroom wasn't necessarily child-friendly - no bath and a basin mounted far too high for little ones to reach. The availability of a small step-stool would have solved the latter. While the hotel is not colocated with the city attractions, the underground is a city block away and the bus stop is at the front door. The staff was very accommodating. They were ready to assist the every day site-see'ers with a smile. The lobby offered a happy hour nightly to help wind down the day. Overall, I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good stay The room was an ok size by European standards. I was dissapointed there was no bathtub and it made it difficult to bath our 2 children. The staff was friendly and helpful. The train station was about a 10-15 minute walk away, but didn't know that when we arrived by train we needed to switch trains to get to the one close to the hotel and paid money to take a taxi. It was adequate for a one night stay as it was comfortable and clean. The reception staff were very helpful too particularly one lady but unfortunately didn't get her name. Although this Hotel was not in the city centre it was only a couple of stops on the tube and the closest station was a five to ten minute walk. April 16, 2013

The staff were polite and helpful, the rooms were to the normal holiday inn standard - good size, well heated and ventilated, clean, comfortable, pleasantly decorated with an excellent shower. There was easy accessible parking which was not particularly cheap, but of reasonable price for central london and the breakfast was good and included in the price. Breakfast was poor-not enough room for the number of guests staying. orange juice was good otherwise , bread rolls were not fresh, the scrambled egg was dry and overcooked and supplies of cheese and coffee ran out rapidly.. I used my priority points to pay for the stay and got free breakfast and free internet. Its only .5miles to the metro station and easy to get anywhere in the city from there. Great restaurants right across the street for .5mile in either direction. The only negative is if you go down for breakfast too late it got very crowed but that it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff and clean, comfortable accomodations Our family of 3 stayed for 6 nights at the Earl's Court Holiday Inn Express. We found the staff pleasant and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean and not too crowded. We always had plenty of towels and tea in our room. The breakfast buffet had plenty of food, but it would have been better if they would have had different choices (not the same things every morning!( ie, bacon or ham instead of sausages). I thought the tube stop was closer to the hotel. It was a fast 5 minutes walk away, but on a cold and windy day, it felt more like 20 minutes. Overall, our experience was favorable and we would certainly consider staying there again if ever our travels took us to London. K&M&B April 11, 2013

There was a slight queue for breakfast but that can't be helped, there was a good selection of food and drinks available. We booked on a 2 for 1 basis so we were very happy that we got such a lovely hotel at a good price. Recommended. April 10, 2013
