Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel would visit again Having recently spent 5 nights at this hotel we can look back on a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. We required one double room and one wheelchair accessible room, the reservation supervisor understood our needs immediately and was able to provide us with 2 interconnecting rooms that were close to the lifts. The breakfast area was bright and spacious enough to accommodate a wheelchair and the choice and quality of food provided was excellent. We found all the reception staff to be very pleasant in helping us find our way around London. We would be more than happy to recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to London. It is very well situated for many bus routes into central London and was great value for money. August 31, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Relaxing stay during a weekend summit I booked directly online on their official homepage and had no problems whatsoever. It was a simple procedure and received all the details I required before departure. Check in was a breeze. We were warmly received at the reception desk and were given a room in the new annexe building. The room with two single beds was clean, modern and well lit. The bathroom was spotless and compact. Overall we were very comfortable. The only thing I found odd was that there was no toilet brush to clean the toilet bowl after use! When one shares a bathroom it is common courtesy to clean up. I asked at the reception desk and was told that the cleaning staff takes care of that. *hmmms... odd.. The hotel is located close to West Kensington station. It is two stops away via bus 28 (heading towards Wandsworth) and bus 391 (heading towards Sands End). The bus stops right in front of the hotel. Walking down to the West Kensington station is no problem. There are good restaurants just around the corner, Lily Tandoori & Taiwan Village. I will definitely return to Holiday Inn Express Earls Court. Service, quality and comfort were just what the weekend doctor ordered ;-) August 22, 2013

She was extremely polite, trying to help us get rooms, excellent support and what a wonderful experience staying at the Earls Court Hotel in London. Location is convenient that we usually walk to the West Brompton underground station. Restaurants and drug stores nearby. It is nice and quiet at night for sleeping. Breakfast is very good. Every member of the staff was very friendly. The rooms are not very big. One thing not so great: no real wardrobe. There was not enough space for our shirts, so we had them lying on the table.... Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Polite staff Overall our stay was very comfortable, clean minimal room and bathroom exceptionally clean for a hotel, but this might have been because it was relatively new! Staff were friendly and efficient! The only real downside was the breakfast area as people tended to push in but that not the fault of the hotel...just impatient clients!!! We arrived quite earlier than check-in time, but given that we had a transatlantic flight, we were promptly offered a room and even a crib for our baby (for free!). Breakfast was also very tasty with a good variety of options. There are 3 underground stations within walking distance. I'll definitely stay in this hotel again! August 11, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend away My partner and I came for the second time this year. The first time was in April for the marathon. We didn't know what to expect at the time because we didn't know the hotel. We enjoyed our stay in April so much that we said we'd come back as soon as we can. And we did last weekend! It was a friend's birthday do at the other end of London. We opted for the longer trip on the tube just to be able to stay at this hotel. And we enjoyed our stay again! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and quiet. It's a fab place to relax while the exciting London life is not far away. Tube stations are in easy reach. Our room was in the 1-year old annex building, which was very exciting! Everything looked and felt brandnew. Only downside was that the room was quite hot but so was the weather outside! We chilled out for the weekend and felt we had a really good break after 2 nights at the hotel! We definitely want to come back again! Do you have a loyalty scheme? August 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does exactly what it says on the tin. Very good hotel to stay in. Had absolutley no problems. Room was clean and tidy with a nice bathroom and new towels every day. The breakfast is very good considering it comes free. There is a slight lack of choice in that maybe there could be bacon and other meats but overall it was very good. The area isn't exactly what I would call Earl's Court, it's more like west brompton and hammersmith but it's still a decent area nonetheless. I would advise to use west brompton tube station not west Kensington because you have to walk down north end road which can be slightly dangerous at times but overall quite safe. The hotel area is ultra safe though because you require to use your room key to enter the building and staff are at reception 24/7 so security is not an issue. This was my first time in a holiday inn and all I can say is I will definitely be using them more often in the future. It's not a 5 star hotel but in a place like london you don't need a swimming pool and spa because you will be out of the hotel all day. The location is also not too far out (about 20-25 mins on district line to centre) and the station is only a 5 min walk. July 30, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Decent Hotel in Good Location First trip to London, and having generally enjoyed Holiday Inn Express hotels in the past, our stay at Earl's Court was pretty much as expected. The main attraction was the quick access to West Kensington or West Brompton stations, which both allowed access to the District line for quick service to all the major London attractions. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The only real complaint was the lack of variety at Breakfast. Coming from North America, the egg style and meats usually get changed up everyday. In London (as well as in Manchester, so I assume this is across the UK) the eggs are always scrambled, and your meat choice is always sausage. Other then that, it's the standard fair, cereal, toast, some fruit, etc. A little on the pricey side for the brand, but seemed in line with other hotels around London. If you're on a budget, it's a decent place to stay. July 29, 2013

A little cramped for a family of four, but good value for money, with free breakfast for the children. Good location for the museums (Science, Natural History, V&A), all about 30 minutes walk, and a convenient bus service with a stop just round the corner. Secure parking at the hotel for 20 pound per day, but we parked on a street behind the hotel for free, without any problem. Very helpful and professional staff July 23, 2013

Rooms well insulated from road noise and bigger than usual shower. Noise from air conditioning a little off putting but didn't stop me sleeping. Check-in was a bit delayed as the hotel does not have a separate line for Rewards guests and there was only one clerk on duty in the morning while I was checking in. The only real downside is the location of the hotel - it is not close to Earl's Court station - in fact the closest stations are either South Kensington or West Bromley - both of which are a good 15 minutes walk away. Getting to almost any destination in central London (other than those on the district line# always meant that you had to change trains - something to consider. Breakfast was adequate - rooms are a bit small by American standards - and only a minimum number of towels are given per room. I had an early morning airport departure and had to arrange a taxi to take me to Victoria #where many of the buses run) at a cost of 15 GBP - so factor in additional costs if your flights are very early or late. The Hotel is even better than before as we were lucky enough to have a room in the new annexe (it was being built last year). The furnishings and fittings are first class, the aircon is highly effective, the shower is most efficient and the bed very comfortable. The staff are as friendly and helpful as ever. Breakfast is typical of the chain and the staff worked non-stop to clear the tables and replenish the food counter. The location is good for West Kensington tube (10 mins walk) or number 74 bus to Earl's Court. If we are back in London next year (hopefully with more Wimbledon tickets!) we will certainly book this Hotel. We were warmly welcomed as Priority Club members and made use of the free VIFI. No restaurant for dinner, but open to delivery service or take away (Italian, Indian, MacDonalds, Subway, Fish&Chips etc) with all the needed accesories provided by the hotel. Very international team being helpfull at all time. Luggage storage. Breakfast quite poor and repetitive, hardly any fruit. But all together a good price/quality proportion. The Hotel Manager at least has the motivation and profesionality to answer all comments and critics that we users post. July 2, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Met our needs for a short family break We stayed in the hotel with our 3 and 6 year old children and just needed a base from which to explore London. We visited the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and central London. We found the location good for accessing all the areas we wanted to visit and we found the hotel met our needs well. The room was clean and there was adequate room for our clothes and to relax for an hour or so in the evening. The breakfast choice was good with a range of options and the quality of the food was good. We avoided the busy times (8.30 onwards on weekend days) getting up in time to avoid the queue for the buffet. We would use the hotel again in the future. The kids were happy with the hotel. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by West Kensignton is the closed tube station Approximately 6-8 min. walking distance from West Kensington tube station. There is a Tesco Express near the hotel and shops, Kebab, Fish & Chips, burger, are in 2-3 min. distance. Hotel is clean, no amenity so please bring it with you, and breakfast comes with stay and it's quality is good. Restaurant area is well maintained. Requested to keep luggages at the time of the check-out, when you come back to pick it up, you are escorted to the storage and you yourself need to go into the storage room and pick it up. Requested to book a cab, expected to book a meter cab, but seemed an executive cab (no meter) by default. Would appreciated if a hotel clerk asks before booking a cab. Recognized as a priority club platinum member at the time of check-in, internet access was free as I was the priority club member. June 15, 2013
