Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Better than most others I've only recently started using Holiday Inn Express, and I've been pleasantly surprised when comparing them with other hotel chains in similar price ranges. The interior design is individual and impressive, facilities are good, staff are uniformly friendly and efficient, food is above average, and rooms are comfortable and larger than average. The greeting from the desk staff was excellent, helping me to find a place to eat and watch the Barcelona v Real Madrid game! Thank you. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent location and exceptional hotel service Arrived to a warm welcome and greeted as a valued IHG member with an explanation of all that this meant to increase the comfort of our stay. The room was comfortable clean and even though it overlooked the main road outside the hotel ,it was beautifully quiet and restful. The bathroom was very clean with a super shower and the standards were maintained during our 4 day stay The staff at breakfast were most welcoming and helpful and were genuinely interested how our day was in the capital. The excellent, warm and friendly service from the staff make all the difference and we will be back to stay again March 23, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stay in March The hotel was as can be expected from the HIE chain with a modern feel and very clean. The only let downs of our stay were the traffic noise which started early in the morning, even though we were on the 2nd floor, and the noise made by the air conditioning. This meant we had to turn it off during the night, allowing the temperature to get too warm for comfortable sleeping. March 19, 2015
