Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Value We were looking for a hotel near our son's apartment. This hotel was conveniently located and a good value - priced moderately for London. The pull-out couch was uncomfortable for our son and the room was small. We had some difficulty getting emails that were sent to us via the front desk during our stay. The front desk personnel were not always able to answer our questions. July 10, 2012

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel for the price I enjoyed the larger , clean ,room and breakfast. The area was a bit noisy with construction and traffic but pretty good soundproofing on the windows. Nice central location, close to everything. I have stayed all over London for the past several years. I would stay here again! July 10, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Helpful friendly staff, good breakfast and convenient location I enjoy staying at this hotel. It is not located in the most central part of London (I.e. west end) but London Bridge and the fabulous Borough Market are 'on the doorstep' and Victoria, Westminster and the West end are only a couple of tube stops away. Tube links are good, and a nice walk along the side of the river is easy (the river is about 200 metres or so from the hotel). Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are typical Holiday Inn Express rooms - adequately equipped, generally clean and comfortable - and the breakfast is good, offering a wider choice (continental plus basic English) than in some similar hotels . If you can get a booking when the rates are reasonable this is a good choice of hotel. June 27, 2012
