The room was rather cold and with the benefit of hindsight we should have contacted reception at the time as they had extra heaters and duvets they could have brought to the room. As it was, we mentioned the problem upon checkout and the hotel dealt with it very professionally. Overall, we would stay at this hotel again if we needed to be in that part of London again. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location, Questionable Service The location of the hotel is great however, there were issues regarding service and attention to detail. Our reservation was for a family room and no extra bed was made on arrival. Our arrival time was after 5pm, so there should have been ample time to arrange the room. We required an urgent package to be sent via courier and the reception had no clue how to deal with this request. Assistance in these matters should be a standard service. Instead we were directed to a courier service point! The bathroom needed attention, specifically the plumbing relating to flushing toilet and the dirty shower curtain. Maintenance and Service in relation to value for money is an issue. November 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value Brilliant place to stay only 1 stop away from Victoria and therefore the centre of London. Staff were fantastic, very polite and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable but ours was a tight squeeze . Breakfast is adequate and if you don't like it , there is a cafe Uno nearby who serve the most fantastic eggs florentine. !!!! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by visit 25.10.2014 The day started badly by my tripping over the door step on entry to the hotel. we were given a Room next to the breakfast bar on the lower ground floor, which was acceptable until we were woken at 6 am by a noisy fan or extractor outside our room, the noise of rattling plates and cutlery from the breakfast room prevented return to sleep as was the squeaky store room door. I mentioned my dissatisfaction to the reception staff on check out and was told that the general manager would be told and would contact me. At the moment of writing this review nothing has been heard from the hotel. I would find it hard to honestly recommend this hotel. October 28, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cozy Accommodation My wife and I visited London to attend an Investiture at Buckingham Palace on 9 Oct 2014. This was our first visit to London and so we wanted to stay at a hotel fairly near to the Palace. Fortunately, the Holiday Inn Express London - Victoria turned out to be not merely a hotel conveniently located near to the Palace but, simply put, an excellent hotel, period, where we got value for our money. Our hotel provided us with all we required, not least of all, cozy accommodation and lovely breakfasts. If we were to return one day, we would certainly want to stay at the Holiday inn Express London - Victoria again. October 15, 2014

Very helpful staff..specially the gentleman at the front office worked hard to give me an early check-in and a late check-out. The staff was very helpful while giving directions to various locations. My suggestion..add a bit of variety to the breakfast menu. I had breakfast on 4 mornings and the menu was exactly the same. October 15, 2014

We are used to larger accommodations in Asia. However, the staff is friendly and helpful. Will stay again next time. Oh Plus they allow smoking in the room, which is one of my main criteria. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Express Pimlico A great situation, close to Pimlico Tube and the river. Our basement family room had a pump or compressor unit right outside the window with noisy equipment running 24/7. At night you had a choice between window closed, stuffy but just quiet enough to sleep or window open, not so stuffy but too noisy. The room was also adjacent to the breakfast room so there was disturbance from 06:45. The least comfortable Holiday Inn Express we've stayed in and one I shall not use again. September 28, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by London Weekend This is a great hotel, normal Holiday Inn standard, beautiful looking building on Belgrave Road, five minutes walk from Pimlico Tube Station which is a lovely area with some good pubs and restaurants. In the opposite direction Victoria station is a ten minute walk and Buckingham Palace another five minutes from there. Staff were excellent, we checked in about 11.30pm Friday evening and where met by a very cheery receptionist. The breakfast dinning room was struggling a bit both Saturday and Sunday, short of bread rolls ( we never saw one) running out of cutlery but nothing that upset us or spoilt the weekend. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Internet not working with iPad/Samsung phone / old building The free internet only worked on the laptop. Ipad and Samsung phone could not connect to the Hotspot - according to staff a known problem that they were unable to fix. The rooms are dated but clean. Typical sliding windows that don't keep any noise out. Price is good for London but not the value for money is not good - go to one of the other more modern Holiday Inns instead September 22, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Small room, warm evening, stifling with no aircon I stay at hotels in London quite often but my normal choices were all booked, so I thought that I would try this one. Not a good experience. Although conveniently situated near Pimlico underground station there was no-one in Reception when I arrived, and no way of summoning anyone. I was reduced to calling the Reception phone from my mobile to get someone there to check-in. The room I was given was small and stiflingly hot with no air-conditioning. An uncomfortable night followed as the only way to cool the room was to open the window and endure the traffic noise. It is expensive to stay here for the standard of accommodation offered. I normally stay in Kensington in a much better hotel for a lower rate. I would only stay here again if there was no other option. September 22, 2014

I did have to mention to the reception staff that there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke at the end of the first floor corridor where my room was (123) which they said they would investigate. Also, when checking in, we found that they had three rooms booked for us instead of two. On checking my credit card statement at home, I found that I had indeed been charged for two rooms at the time of the original booking, and then charged for a further room. However, the charge for the additional unrequired room was refunded immediately so I was very pleased with that service! September 17, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Has its good points but beware UK IHG properties are not the same as North America. Pros: Super friendly and helpful front desk staff. Made us feel welcome and like we were staying with friends. Clean and no odour. Bathroom not too small and was functional. Breakfast was good, hot choices as well as lots of cereals, breads, fruits etc. Location not bad, some good restarants nearby. Highly recommend O Sole Mio. Best meal we had in the UK, fantastic authentic Italian with all Italian staff, made for a magical night. Cons: Super small room, barely room for 2 people and suitcases.Felt a bit claustrophobic. No toiletries supplied other than soap so make sure you have shampoo. No air conditioning and even though it was not super warm out, it is needed. fans are provided in room, our was never switched off. Noisy street at night. No bathtub but shower was adequate. I would recommend this property if you are only in London for a couple of nights max. Any longer and you will feel like you are in a shoebox. August 26, 2014

The room was rather small and felt suffocating. The room was also smelly. The bathroom towels had hair on it and there is no aircon in the room. August 21, 2014
