Everything presented clean comfortable and relaxing. My only criticism is the low quality food offered at breakfast. The fresh orange juice tasted watered down. All staff very polite and helpful.

The hotel offers excellent value for money. Rooms are very clean and cozy. Comfortable bed. Location is very convenient - 5 minute walk from tube station and if feeling up to it, 30 minute walk from Westminster. The place to stay when looking for no frills convenience, value for money without compromising on service and comfort

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Has its good points but beware UK IHG properties are not the same as North America.
Super friendly and helpful front desk staff. Made us feel welcome and like we were staying with friends.
Clean and no odour.
Bathroom not too small and was functional.
Breakfast was good, hot choices as well as lots of cereals, breads, fruits etc.
Location not bad, some good restarants nearby. Highly recommend
O Sole Mio. Best meal we had in the UK, fantastic authentic Italian with all Italian staff, made for a magical night.
Cons: Super small room, barely room for 2 people and suitcases.Felt a bit claustrophobic.
No toiletries supplied other than soap so make sure you have shampoo.
No air conditioning and even though it was not super warm out, it is needed. fans are provided in room, our was never switched off.
Noisy street at night.
No bathtub but shower was adequate.
I would recommend this property if you are only in London for a couple of nights max. Any longer and you will feel like you are in a shoebox.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dnair A wrong choice
I booked this hotel expecting it would be like the other Holiday Inn hotels I have stayed it, but it was rather disappointing. The room was rather small and felt suffocating. The room was also smelly. The bathroom towels had hair on it and there is no aircon in the room.

The hotel was nice and thankfully we had excellent weather. I had booked a room for 2 but when I arrived my room only had a single bed in it. The staff was very nice and flexible and remedied the situation nicely. Our new room was nice and had everything we needed. The one thing I wish I knew ahead of time was that the hotel is not air conditioned except in the lobby. Also the breakfast was not very good - except for the croissants.

Do not go to this hotel when the weather is hot. There is no air conditioning, the room is small, there are no drawers in the room, no ice bucket, there was dirt on the "clean" towel and 1 pillow case. The selection of food for breakfast was poor.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by whointhehallru Good hotel but could use some improvements given the price
As I mentioned previously on this survey, there were some minor issues that my wife and I noticed during our stay at this hotel. We realize that given it location in London the price would be high. We expected a lot more given the fact that it was part of the Holiday Inn Express Brand.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by climber2 Nice staff but no air conditioning
We enjoyed our stay in London and the location of the hotel was close to bus and underground. The staff was helpful and very friendly however the room was very hot and the hotel does not have air conditioning. They did provide a fan but there isn't an electrical outlet near the window.
The room was very small and compared to American standards, we were not impressed. However in comparison to other London hotels, it was a good deal since it included breakfast which was very expensive in London.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Replex Restful stay not possible
I have choosen this hotel because of the good location, very close to many sights and to victoria station.
The room was clean and the room size for london fair enough.
Unfortunately there was no aircondition in this room and the windows couldn't be opend more than 10cm. Because of very hot temperatures outside the room was heated up during the day and caused by the windowsbarrier there was no possibility to cool down the room before going to bed. Sleeping by about 30°C room temperature and very much noise caused by the road (2nd floor, window to the road) was nearly impossible.
The windows in the room are old and there was more or less no noisedifference between open and closed window.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by D Ager Beautiful ok'd building in a great location
I recently stayed at this hotel for one night whilst in London on business. The hotel is located on a beautiful old street in Pimlico, which us ideal for Central London. Pimlico tube us just around the corner and the 24 bus stops on Belgrave Aroad, where the hotel is located.. Overall, I was very impressed and I look forward to returning with my family in October.
All the staff that I met were extremely helpful.
The room was spotlessly clean.
The breakfast was very good.
The location is fantastic
The hotel us quite small which helps retain a sense of personal service
A couple of areas for improvement:
This hotel has a number of smoking rooms. I was originally allocated a smoking room, although the staff were very helpful when I asked to change.
The rooms don't have air conditioning. During the current heat-wave, it was extremely hot in the room
The room rates are relatively expensive considering Holiday Inn Express is a value brand

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ECE3 Great location in a quiet part of town that close to tube stations
This street is full of small hotels, both chain and independent. It is an easy walk with luggage from the Pimlico tube station (5 minutes)...slightly longer from Victoria (15 mins), It is quiet at night with a smattering of small pubs for dinner just off the street

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bauld Good value for a London Hotel
Overall its a great hotel for one or two nights. The location is brilliant, just around the corner from the Tube Station. The staff were all excellent, friendly and seemed interested in the customers. The night Manager was a little grumpy at 3 am when returning but who wouldn't be? I would recommend this hotel but if you are staying in the City a bit longer, then a hotel with a bigger room might be best - especially if two people are staying.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chris+Family Great location
The hotel was located in a quite neighborhood 10 minute walk from victoria station & 15 minutes from the palace. We only had one night before catching a flight out of gatwick the next morning. The hotel staff was very helpful, we had to leave before breakfast and they offered to prepare a plate of pastries & fruit we could eat+bring with us when we checked out. The room was extremely comfortable for our family of 4...strongly recommend staying a this hotel again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by beesy Great service and comfortable bed
Easy efficient check in by friendly staff, clean comfortable room and en-suite, except for the excessive heat. The fan supplied did its best but although the bed was comfortable I couldn't sleep until 0100hrs.
Nice choice for breakfast,(soya milk was a bonus) would have appreciated tomato or mushroom as extra choice.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by GG Paris Great Location - shame about the aircon
VERY hot in the room - supplied fan helped but did not solve the issue - therfore window open all night with resultant traffic noise.
Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired - very limited choice - not the best breakfast in London

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Enzo830 Great location
I used up my IHG reward points I accumulated at my old job where I traveled 100% of the time. I decided on the Holiday Inn Express London Victoria due to the cost (points) as well as location and ease of access to public transportation. The hotel is located just around the block from the Pimlico underground station and a few steps away from the #24 bus route. The hotel itself is in an old building. The hotel is cramped, and the room is fairly small, but just remember you are in Europe and space is at a premium in London.
The week my wife and I were there, the weather was pretty warm. It got up to about 80 degrees F later in the week. The rooms are not air conditioned. I had trouble sleeping with the high temps in the room, but my wife did not. Fans and cold bottled water are available if you need it.
The rooms are clean though and the staff was excellent. The area feels safe and we did not experience any issues during our stay.
The breakfast is adequate with several options available and does help out saving money on breakfast everyday.
I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel to other people.
I was satisfied using up my hard earned points on this property.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by London tourist Friendly and Excellent Customer Service, but no A/C and noisy
This hotel is very close to some attractions and very convenient to get to any public transportations. The manager and staff are very friendly and helpful. Can't find any hotel with these type of customer oriented manager and staffs.
However, I was very surprised that for the price that I paid for this class of hotel. There is no A/C in all the hotel rooms. It only have a fan. It is so hot and the beds are not that comfortable. Due to no A/C, we have to keep the only window open which made the room very noisy due to the noise of vehicles passing by.
The 2 nights stay in this hotel are suffering since the room are hot and humid plus the noise. We won't be able to sleep for both nights. It is fortunate that we only stay for 2 nights. Otherwise, we have to look for another hotel that have A/C to get a better night of sleep.
The hotel management should consider installing A/C in all the room. This will make the hotel more comfortable. UK is not a 3rd world country. The hotel is not a lousy hotel. It should provide A/C in each room.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Eyeinthe sky Great service - poor breakfast - very small.
Hotel breakfast area is very small and breakfast choice is limited. There was a loud noise from room above, it seemed to happen when the water was running. This gave us an interrupted sleep. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is clean. The bar area is very small and we were disappointed that the hotel did not do food.

Had a great experience with Holiday Inn Victoria - staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially Elena. We arrived very early Saturday morning and Elena ensured our room was ready for us to check in. Good choice for breakfast. Great location and a short walk to the Underground. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Friendly Staff, recognised as a Platinum Member, but given a pretty low grade room. Huge windows over a balcony that let in a huge amount of outside noise and no way of cutting this down. I had to sleep with the windows shut on what was a really hot night. I should have asked to change room, but thought I was going to spend so little time in it and was so tired that I would be out like a light, so the noise from outside was not a factor in effecting my sleep. If I had been a light sleeper that evening (which I usually am) it would have been a real problem for me. I would advise guests to complain and avoid these balcony rooms with huge windows, unless you can sleep on a rope!
Having collected my breakfast together and brought it to my table I realised I had forgotten something and returned to the breakfast counter, when I returned to my table I found the whole thing cleared by a member of staff (over efficient member of staff). They immediately started to remedy this, but it did add a delay to the start of my day.
