Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 A useful hotel Good standard for a budget hotel, although as with anything near London twice the normal price! Staff attentive and helpful - was impressed that the manager came around to talk to guests at breakfast. The secure parking was an added bonus, although the price had gone up from £10 to £15 since the Laterooms website was last updated. Staff very kindly let me pay the old price. I would definitely stay again if I am in the area - this hotel makes getting to the Albert Hall easy, as the tube station entrance is opposite. December 18, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Wimbeldon South A very noisy area to be in over-night, emergency sirens were going off regular. The rooms are not sound proofed and I could hear next door talking about a recent operation they had gone through. I could hear noise from children running down the corridors around 8 o’clock, but this stopped after 30 minutes. I would not recommend this hotel due to the Lady at the reception trying to overcharge me for parking. On the plus side, a nice clean hotel value for money for the area, if you pre-pay. The only thing even remotely wrong was the breakfast, which did not have a great variety of cooked food (the overall variety was very good though), and the scrambled eggs were not great. Overall a great stay, and would definitely stay there again!!!! December 9, 2014

We asked for room No 6 from our previous visit but the 1st night was a disaster from the next room whose occupants from 11pm to 2.00pm in the morning kept leaving and returning to their room every 15 minutes slamming their door each time.We contacted reception who advised us they were leaving at 3pm. Next morning we demanded a room change for our remaining 3 nights and were given a room on the 3rd floor - the rest of our stay was fine. This hotel always seems to have young foreign visiters staying each time we visit - our 3rd time (we choose this hotel as we are Priority Members and it is very convenient to visit our family who live in Tooting) I would like to hear the manager's comments relative to the above situations? La ducha fantástica y buenas toallas. el desayuno es bueno, aunque los huevos podrían variar de vez en cuando, pero estuvimos 6 días y desayunamos cada día con gusto ahí. En general el hotel es limpio y el personal es simpático y eficiente. La ubicación del hotel es buena, a 20 minutos en metro del centro. Cerca del hotel hay un buen pub inglés con unas hamburguesas buenísimas. También un restaurante turco buenísimo a 5 minutos, que visitamos 3 veces. Para los españoles: la tele es grande y el mando funciona! December 3, 2014
