Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Slow Internet Don't usually write these, but here goes. Overall, the stay was about as expected with the following reservations. The wifi was very slow, only about 100k downloads. The room needed a new shower curtain. Towels needed to be replace with new fluffy ones. The goody bag with one 6oz water and a small package of cookies is kind of a joke. Why bother? The pancake machine in the breakfast area didn't work. That seems to be a problem at many HIE's. The waffle irons at the other chains seem a little more reliable. Finally, a complaint at most of these places whether HEI, Hampton or whatever is the heat/ac units. The wall units are only a little better than the old window type units that were used in motels 20 years ago. I would pay extra for a heat/ac unit that didn't sound like a train and blow hot or cold air on you while trying to sleep. February 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No cell phones in breakfast area The peaceful tranquility of my breakfast was ruined by some clown that walked into the room talking on his cell phone, and sat down and continued his call on his cell phone. There should be no phone calls allowed in the breakfast area, or at least a sign asking people to be respectful. January 22, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No one there to help and terrible internet service. Only one person was on staff at night and the next morning. We had to wait to check out and wait to get extra towels that night. No one from housekeeping is on staff at night. My son got sick in our room and I only got extra towels to clean it off the carpet. The internet is terribly slow. Good luck tryinbg to stream from You Tube or Netflix, it is not happening! The one staff memeber that was avliable was pleasant and helpful, but again the only ONE!!!! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room and good price and convenient. The staff is wonderful - they always upgrade me to a suite if it is available. The only complaint is that some of the rooms don't have an office desk and chair. I was told I just need to request that and they will make sure I am in a room that does have those items. I would stay here anytime and suggest it to others. December 10, 2012

Even with the line building up she remain patient, serving out the southern hospitality one would expect of an Holiday Inn Express. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel for Business I wasn't there to relax, I was there to work. And the Holdiay Inn Express was a great place to do it. We were there for a week and had to have a lot of flexibility with booking rooms. Shobba (the manager# and her staff were great and very accommodating. We used the conference room the entire time we were there and they kept it stocked with water and ice. They also let us use their front desk printer and copier with no worries. There was so much going on #work wise) that it was great to have no issues with the hotel or its staff. The rooms were very comfortable, and after long days, it was perfect to come back to a hotel that was so comfortable. I am very greatful for their hospitality. No complaints! October 23, 2012

The bathroom shower arrangement is not what I liked, I have problem taking a shower in a bathtub without any grab bars in the shower enclosure when the floor is not flat and somewhat slippery. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and no light switches to operate the light in the shower. October 16, 2012

Breakfast selections are excellent with outstanding service and cleanliness in this area. We stay here often, at least once every other month. This last trip housekeeping let us down a bit, but hopefully will be corrected in the future. Holiday Inn has really stepped up their properties and service. October 15, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Room key issue I had 2 reservations - one using points and the other paying. When I checked in, the person at the desk was very nice and said that I wouldn't need to check out and back in. The next day the front desk called my husband wanting to know why we were still in the hotel since we had checked out.. He explained and all was well. Later that day, when we tried to open the door to the room, both our keys did not work. This happened again the next day. The staff was very nice correcting this, but it woudl be good if this process could be improved. Loved the hotel though and the staff was friendly! October 12, 2012
