Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Warm welcome We always get a warm welcome when staying here. Its ideally situated for Willen Lake and the M1 and even when it is busy noise is not a problem. We would certainly recommend this Holiday Inn Express. We are back for Christmas! December 19, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fabuolous Visit I had an unfortunate visit back in the summer, where my air conditioning didn't work. I was contacted by the Manager afterwards, who apologised and invited us back for another visit to show it was just an unfortunate oversight on their part. I can honestly say that my previous visit was just a 'blip'. We returned this weekend and had a fabulous time. The room was beautiful and the staff were all very pleasant; from the cleaning staff to the front desk to the kitchen staff. This is all you could ever want or expect, from a well run hotel. I can't praise enough the communication from them after I had the bad stay and I can fully recommend you use this hotel if visitng MK. On top of the lovely comfortable and nicey decorated rooms, the buffet breakfast is more than enough to start your day on the right foot! December 18, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good but some staff training opportunities Overall the stay was good. A travel cot was provided, but we didn't know this until we arrived (despite calling up to ask). Breakfast selection was decent but not great. I'm sure bacon would have been well received all round. The stay was very pleasant and we were made to feel welcome and there was a good value pub/restaurant about 20m from the lobby front door. December 17, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by 10.12.14 A short overnight stay. Met with friendly helpful staff in reception. Food and drinks ordering was also met with polite helpful staff. Food at Dinner was inedible and had to wait longer than expected. Bar was too busy at the time to complain. So ended up going to bed hungry. Have block booked this hotel for next few weeks. But will reconsider future bookings over next few months should this continue. Otherwise hotel was fine, clean, comfortable and friendly. May just want to eat in the Harvester across the car park December 15, 2014
