Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Really Good.
We stayed here for one night whist visiting family in the area. I asked for a quiet room on booking as we have two young children, we were given a room at the end of the building and didn't hear any noise all night.
I found the staff to be friendly and professional (Nicole) and the room was nice and clean. Our shower had a slight leak but I didn't find it to be much of a problem overall and would happily stay here again.
The breakfast was really good with a good choice of really tasty food and drink which the staff were constantly replenishing so as not to run out. The highchairs could do with improvement, but again I didn't find this too much of a problem.
Overall a nice clean hotel with friendly staff, clean rooms and a great breakfast! Would recommend.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kenneth007 Excellent value for money - and comfortable with it!
We satyed one night as part of our visit to Bletchley Park. The hotel was easy to find via satnav. Reception staff were immediately helpful and welcoming. The room was quite large, huge bed with choice of pillows (soft/firm). Large flat screen TV. Bright, sparkling bathroom with good shower. All in all, very comfortable. The breakfast was reasonable, particularly as it was included in the room-rate - hot sausage, scrambled egg, beans, toast, hot and cold drinks, muffins, yoghurt. Excellent value, and very convenient location.

-We had with the children a very good experience. We were allowed to check in well before 3pm and the breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly. We had free and good quality internet in the reception area.
-We thought the rooms need a fridge which would be essential in summer. We also expected the tv to contain a little bit more than the free view program.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Debs62 Good hotel for the money
My daughter and I stayed here recently and found it perfectly adequate. Room was a decent standard and clean and comfortable. However, mattress cover seemed to be loose so sheet kept rucking up during the night. Have no complaints about this hotel and will stay again.....just one little niggle....at intervals during the night I was woken by quite loud talking outside. I had a room near the main entrance (209) and I think it was hotel staff having a cigarette break. It happened around 11.30 then I heard it again around an hour later and then again at 2.30ish. Same loud male voice and I didn't have the window open.

Very pleased with accommodation, breakfast and staff. Only complaint was not hotels fault and related to other guests making excessive noise along corridor during early hours of the morning. No noise from adjoining guest rooms which made a change from other hotels. Overall a pleasant stay and we hope to visit again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by leckier1970 Brilliant Value, nice experience
I’ve stayed her a few times and find the staff pleasant and the hotel acceptable within the remit of an express / premier inn type of establishment. I love the fact that you get choice of pillow however i don’t know if it’s just me but the beds are way to springy for me. Don’t be put off though great value for money and fairly comfortable.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by theron Nice stay, don't plan on internet
The hotel is excellent and the breakfast great value for money. My only sticking point is that the free lobby internet isn't fast or reliable enough to use to get work done. The paid internet was more than adequate for my needs, but adds 15% onto the cost per night of staying at the hotel, reducing the value for money.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by MarkManchester OK Hotel - Nothing more.........................
Hotel was OK nothing really special - on arrival was not greeted as a Gold Priority Club Member - to which I was at that stage....
Room was a King Size room, nothing really special - same size really as a normal room except the bed being larger....
Window in Room could not open which was disappointing....
Lift in the area of the bedroom also was not working during the stay !!!
Breakfast was OK however as I went to breakfast approx. 20 minutes before the end, alot of the items had either ran out, or near too and did not look as good as fresh items.
Did not eat in the hotel on arrival instead went to Harvesters which is across the car park itself, better service and more choice on the menu.
Overall - OK hotel nothing to "rave" about, would I go back - No would rather pay and extra £5 or £10 and go to a better hotel with more facilities and staff that understand the meaning of Customer Service.
Had to wait also on Check Out whilst the reception team "finished there conversation" at the bar before being served - as I said poor customer service.
Would Not recommend this hotel to business or leisure customers.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by emjh Nice location
Service was the outstanding point. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Room comfortable as was the bed. Very clean. Had a good night's sleep.
An excellent location not too far from the centre of MK. We walked one way and used the bus to return. Bus stop adjacent. Also next to a lake if you fancy a nice morning or evening stroll.
Car parking no problem and a Harvester next door - although we didn't use it.
Breakfast OK with reasonable choice although layout not too good if a large number of guests all arrive at the same time.
Lounge area good for evening drink.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gaya76 Great hotel, greater staff
We had really lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy, all fixtures working. Breakfast was superb. But I must stress what I enjoyed most was the hospitality of the staff, they all went the extra mile to accommodate us and the needs of young children. We ordered a pizza for dinner, which was made very fast, really appreciate the staff and the wonderful hotel. Loved it. Please appreciate your staff holiday inn, they are simply amazing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Purpleness Fab huge king size bed, so clean, pleasant staff, good location everything you would want.
we stay at this hotel many times so that I can visit my parents. I will not stay anywhere else. We stayed recently on New Years eve and could not believe what good value it was. The hotel is bright and light, across from a really good Harvester Inn, close to Willen Lake and close to City centre. The staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble, thank you.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Vanessa13 modern smart hotel
We stayed for New Year's Eve, booked about a month before and received early booking discount. Rooms very well equipped, very modern feel, new TV and lovely smelling shower gel.
There was a good choice at breakfast, although buffet style and a bit of a queue. Drinks at bar very expensive but typical of hotel. Ample parking with Harvester restaurant just next door.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Neil2013 Very good value, service and facilities
We stayed overnight as a family (2 adjoining rooms) after a day at the nearby Xscape (a straightforward 3 mile drive away). This was an ideal place to stay within a few minutes easy drive from the centre of MK and also the motorway (but far enough not to know it's there), the hotel is very good, clean and friendly staff. It was also very handy having a Harvester restaurant next door. This was excellent value for our needs and included complimentary breakfast and free car parking. First stay at a Holiday Inn, will use again.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Billy518 Request Not Carried Out
When booking onlin there is a field asking if there are any particular requests regarding my booking prior to our stay. As i was accompanied by my wife and two children (ages 1 and 3) I requested a "Travel Cot" or "Cot Bed" for our arrival. A relatively simple request I would assume and as a result of travelling through the night from Munster, Germany to visit family in our home town (Milton Keynes) we had hoped to get the children straight to bed on arrival. The staff on shift when we arrived (at 02.30 am on 23rd Dec 12) was polite and informative. However we arrived at our room with two tired children to find the travel cot had not been put in the room as requested. I went to reception to explain and the gentleman was very sorry and checked my booking while i stood there to see if it actually was recorded on the system "treated like a liar" as i could see the screen I pointed straight at my own text and he then flapped around for about 20 minutes sorting a travel cot out as he seemed to be the only member of staff in sight. Eventually he arrived with the travel cot and some random bedding that we made fit and manged to get the girls to sleep. I do not usually complain about anything, I have served 15 years in the Army to date and and have certainly slepted in some worse places especially in Afghanistan (although I didnt pay for those stays) but after spending good hard erned money I would expect the service and a simple request to be carried out better. The Hotel was quite and the staff were polite but due to the lack of them the service at the bar was slow and the desks unmanned on a number of occasions which lead me to feel slightly uneasy (Security). Overall a clean hotel and the room was comfortable, service just needs to be better!!! If the reqwuest are not going to be carried out fully please take the option off of the booking form which will avoid disapointment, anger and reviews of this nature.
Regards.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Gooner64 Christmas party for staff...
The property is very nice and clean and in good condition. The night we stayed the staff were very nice but we were told several times that it was not "their" hotel. It appeared that they (Bedford staff?) were all covering for a Christmas Party and that the MK staff would reciprocate for their party.
If this was the case then MUCH more training needed to be given as even finding out how to produce room keys and pour a drink in the bar appeared to be majorly difficult.
Decent hotel but embarrassing service the night we were there to be honest

basic but comfortable.
Value for money.
Visit was on a weekend, Breakfast is self service but as it was busy staff had difficulty keeping up with the topping up food, cutlery and supplying empty trolley for used trays etc. Advise early breakfast not 9 am

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by russell385 Another first class experience
Stayed here for the weekend whilst Christmas shopping.
Room was excellent and staff, as always, were couteous and knowledgeable. Clean, comfortable bed with room with sofa was just what we needed. Only downside was the wait for hot items at breakfast. To be fair, though, it was worth waiting for.
Harvester pub across the carpark was ideal - though busy - on a Friday night after work. Easy access to town centre via local bus made Saturday shopping easier since no parking strain!
The walk around Willen lake, next to hotel, takes about 90 mins and is recommended for a brisk Sunday stroll

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bolt Room 157
The staff here are exceptional, very helpfull, always a smile and happy to help.
However I had the pleasure of room 157(the last one on the ground floor) which is next to the cleaners area.
They start work quite early, and the door to thier area is quite noisey, this combined with the bin lorry at stupid o'clock on one morning did not lend itself to a full nights sleep.
I have had the bin lorry experience here before, at the time I mentioned it to the front desk, which I appreciate they can not control the bin men, but this needs to be taken to the company in a formal way, as the hotel has many paying guests. Some of which will have shared this experience.
Sorry to grumble, but when you are paying for a good nights kip, you expect it.
