This is a lovely downtown Minneapolis hotel, easy to drop off and unload, good parking options, well decorated and staffed. Check in was efficient and very friendly, room was clean and exactly what we wanted. The cozy lobby was safe for our children where we don't need opulance and crowds. We ate a quick breakfast and didn't have time to swim but we come here often and will certainly choose this gem again.

Very nice hotel, close to the Convention center. Clean and quit room, friendly employees. The wi-fi included in the room work very well and is fast! (which is not always the case in certain hotels). The breakfast included was fine. One thing could be improved: the air conditionning in the breakfast bar fell directly ont the guests who were all freezing! You should have defelctors installed so that it won't go directly on the poeple seated below the ducks. I was disappointed to learn that the rewards program does not apply when you have a conference or group rate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Express Convention Centre! The Front Desk staff were kind and courteous on arrival and checkout, the general staff was very helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. The breakfasts were excellent with a great variety of items to choose from. The hotel located downtown was walking distance from most of the amenities the downtown offers.

i enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express, Minneapolis very much. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and great shower. The staff was friendly and helpful. The Breakfast bar had good selection of food and beverages. I will certainly stay here again.

The hotel was pretty nice. Customer service was not friendly at all. Did not even recognized me as an IGH club member. Whatever!!
Parking is limited, so book the hotel immediately call and reserve parking space.
Food wise, driving distance.

Our second stay at this hotel. During the check-in process, we were told the parking is sold out, however website does not mention limited parking availability. Hotel staff was not very friendly during the check-in, rest of the stay was pleasant and convenient.

The parking was the biggest hassle. Calling the front desk every time you want to get intot the lot was crazy. Also when we came to check in there was no where to park. The rooms need updating and they need new firmer beds. The breakfast area was too small- we ended up eating in our rooms because there was no room to sit in there. I would not reccommend this hotel.

My wife and I recently drove up here for a wedding. We reserved and paid for our room three weeks before arriving. After driving 13 straight hours, we arrived to the hotel at 4am. I came up to the hotel parking area which was blocked by a lift-gate...I called the front desk through the intercom, and informed the night clerk that we had arrived and I gave him my name....The clerk informed me that the hotel parking area was full and that I would have to park across the street at the public parking garage. He said that I was allowed to park in the 5 minute parking area to unload...Not wanting to leave my wife and luggage unattended, I chose to park in the parking garage, and bring my luggage with me. I parked only to find that there was no available elevator, which left me to carry our heavy suitcase down four flights of stairs. The clerk quickly checked us in and said very little in the way of available services...When I got up to the room I looked out the window and just in the area of the parking lot which I could see from the window was 4 empty parking spaces!!! The next morning we had intentionally slept past the available breakfast times, as we had an extremely late night due to the driving to get there....it wasn't until we were packing to leave that I found a pamphlet which informed me that we could have had breakfast delivered up to the room, which I would have done if the night clerk had informed me that it was an option. The clerk the morning I checked out never mentioned that the hotel would reimburse me for having to pay for my parking, which should have been the case. The room and amenities were great, however, the service and having to pay for my own parking when there were 4 available parking spots was very disappointing. I always choose Holiday Express when it is an option, and I was very disappointed in this particular hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was pleasant and comfortable. It was convient and practical for our purpose. We especially appreciated the personal assistance from Kevin, the manager. He assisted us with the booking hurdles encountered with an unexpected change. He went out of his way to ensure that we paid the correct amount instead of being overcharged incorrectly. He truly displayed a concern for the customer. He answered all questions personally and promptly with follow-up phone calls. He is the true epitome of customer service. Thank you , Kevin.

i was talked back to by this front desk girl about being able to open a document on files anywhere from the hotel computers. i am a engineer and am pretty good with computers, actually a few months ago at this same hotel one of the sale or managment personal understood me and fixed there computers. since than they upgraded to new computers.
i know its not a big deal but i needed to print these documents for my scheduled appointment. she made me very upset, and remember folks a guest never forgets when treated badly, but can forget when treated great!

Room was clean. Could not retrieve email on hotel computer but could print off boarding pass. Front desk staff--some friendly, some not so helpful. Very close to Convention Center and short walk to good restaurants. Would stay again.

Visiting Minneapolis for a Tastefully Simple conference! Room was great. Beds were comfortable, I especially liked the pillows.
Breakfast was perfect! Front desk was always welcoming when we walked in the door.

This was not my first trip to this property and I regret it will be my last. I travel on business and I feel the services they offer a business traveler are below standard - quality and easily usable printer, no access to copier except thru front desk staff, and breakfast was a poor selection and quality.
Too make it worse the rooms need some very detail cleaning - look at walls, doors, etc. What I see is disgusting, I can only imaging what I do not see.

We stayed 3 nights in late July for a Twins series And some Guthrie Theatre plays. Friendly staff. Clean room. Taxi ride to the Twins was $10 including tip. The only downside was the very poor wifi.

The service staff at the front was very friendly and helpful during my visit. The rooms were made up in a fashionable manner everyday and loved that the beds were comfy. Will stay here again! Oh and FREE WI-FI with your room...HUGE PLUS!

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the room was very clean and reasonably-priced, the shower was great, the breakfast both days we stayed was top-notch (HOT yummy breakfast included?! what's not to love?), and the service was fast and friendly. For what we paid, it was a GREAT deal! Thanks, we'll stay again next time if we are in MN!!!!!

We really don't have any complaints. We enjoyed having a fridge for our soda and water, microwave and a little sink right there with counter space to put our snacks. The beds were comfortable, that is why we stay at Holiday Inn Express. We would definitely come back again.

Hotel is adequate, clean, and except for one major issue lives up to the Holiday Inn standards. That issue is the hotel's parking lot. It is very small and does not accommodate very many guests. We had to try to back out of the lot onto a very busy street (we weren't the only one, either!) and park in a public lot which actually was cheaper. Problem is,, we were 2 women who had to walk a city block with poor lighting and unfamiliar territory. Thankfully, we made it to the hotel safely.

The Front Desk evening staff, and overnight staff were personable and efficient in addressing the guests. They did a great job.
The day time staff at the Front Desk are not personable. They are a problem... If it was my hotel, I would absolutely not want them representing my hotel. We were traveling in a group, and unsolicited, we all had the same comments...

Parking is less than acceptable. The lot next to the Holiday Inn does not contain enough spaces for all the people that stay at this location. It is a first come first serve basis. I had to park across the street in a parking garage on floor number 5 and carry my luggage and briefcase down 5 flight of stairs. Not acceptable. Will not stay at this hotel again and will not refer it to anyone.

Our company has a negotiated rate with this hotel, and I am so glad that they do. The hotel is conveniently located right in downtown Minneapolis near numerous restaurants, the convention center, and other sights. Both the rooms and public spaces are clean and inviting. The breakfast has an excellent variety and quality of items, and you can even have your breakfast delivered to your room free of charge. The staff are, also, always welcoming and helpful, and are very good at remembering to recognize Priority Club members.
