Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazingly friendly and helpful staff I stayed for 5 days with 3 other ladies in a room w/ 2 double beds. There was plenty of room for all of us to get around and get ready for the various business functions we had scheduled for our stay. The staff was quick to greet you when you arrived and left. They were always smiling and very helpful and quick to answer questions. They even held our bags at check out so we could finish out our final meeting and weighed our bags to be sure we didn't go overweight for our flights. I really feel they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. August 19, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Incredible Stay in Minneapolis I've stayed at many HIE hotels over the years, and this is by far the very best experience I've ever had. I stayed at this hotel for 5 days with my husband while we were on an anniversary trip. The staff was very helpful and friendly, allowing us to extend our checkout and answering all our questions. It's always nice to walk through the lobby and have someone give you a genuine hello each time! I was especially impressed by the breakfast. Major kudos to the man in charge! He had a friendly greeting for us every morning. They change up their breakfast menu each day so there are different hot options, and they even included gluten free/dairy free muffins and bagels!! The swimming pool was immaculate and a great size, and we enjoyed the sauna as well. We got a free upgrade to a wonderful room since we are Holiday Inn Express members without even asking. The cleaning staff did a great job on our room each day. Even when we only left for an hour mid-morning, we came back to a clean room! The only con is paid parking. Although their website states that the attached parking lot is $15/day, this was full by the time we arrived and we had to use the lot across the street (inconvenient, since you pay each time you enter/exit. However, if you leave your car the full time, it caps at $14.) Thanks for the best stay. We will absolutely use this hotel again if we are back in the area! August 16, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A good place to sleep Overall, this was a good property at a reasonable rate. I was attending a conference at the convention center, and was pleased to find that this Holiday Inn was actually closer to the convention center than the official "convention hotel." The Holiday Inn guest room was a little smaller than I expected, as was the bathroom. Cramped would be a better word. and the bathroom lighting was odd, taking longer than expected to come on. But the comfortable bed was very welcoming at the end of a long work day. August 12, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It isn't a suite - but Mike saves the day Manager Mike was very conscientious and effective. I had a less-than-pleasant trip there and wasn't in a great mood, only to find the "suite" I reserved months ago was in fact a large room with an 18-in., if that, barrier jutting out of one wall. That in no way qualifies it as a suite and my original intent was to give a presentation to clients, which I did not want to do in a bedroom. I told the clerk my extreme dissatisfaction to which she replied "there's nothing I can do" - words I find completely unacceptable. However, in 5 minutes or so Mike called back and, after I checked reservations elsewhere beginning the next night, agreed to refund my prepaid money after one night's stay. As it turned out, the convenience to the convention center, the exercise room and the breakfast grew on me, and by the next day I decided to stay. Mike was again accommodating, and managed to reverse the refund and reissue the reservation at the original rate. In the end, it was an extremely nice stay (though I abandoned doing the presentation I had planned.) August 11, 2015
